Per Minnow, Cannon is down to Penn State and Rutgers.

I’m assuming he only goes to RU if Nagao goes to PSU

but how's he feel about raccoons?

I just listened to Nagao’s Basch interview.  Between the God talk, college wrestling goals, freestyle wrestling goals, MMA goals…I’d guess there’s about a 98% chance he’s going to PSU.

Random note I thought it was odd how he kept referring to it as “opening up the portal” like we’re in a science fiction movie.

Aren't we? Athletes can be magically transported thru the portal to their new favorite team and paid in intergalactic crypto coin to do so.

I would love to see him in Black and Gold, but with just how the trend is going with everyone flocking to PSU, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Even the good trollers provide some context and explanation.

Also, it looks like Minnow is saying Cannon wants to go 141 if he goes to Rutgers.

Better historical success with lightweights, best lightweight coaches in the Brands bros, Iowa is culturally more similar to Minnesota than Pennsylvania, no competing 133 transfer (e.g. Chris Cannon) interested...

The only thing that you stated that has any relevancy MIGHT be the Minnesota - Iowa culture, and that is in reference to lifestyle and not wrestling.  Minnesota isn't really like either, to be clear.

Iowa actually has two other NQ caliber 133lbers in the lineup and the Brands bros cost us a healthy Spencer Lee, so there goes the rest of that.

Did the Brands bros really cost a a healthy Spencer Lee or is he just injury prone? His injury history extends back to high school. Torn ACL, torn labrum in high school.
