If Spencer Lee went to Penn State would he be solidified as the GOAT? Knee injuries probably given time to heal, RBY as a practice partner, and NLWC support for his international career.

Still a great career and probably will have a great life, but what could of been?

Penn State is going to magically give him more eligibility?

Of course not. I’m was referring to Lee going to Penn State out of high school.

How is he going to get more recovery time in your mythical scenario?

Training staff wouldn’t have sent him on the mat with torn ACLs. Look at the way they handled Suriano-they put his health first and refused to let him compete despite his wishes.

..that's not how Suriano framed it, lol.

Does Mark Hall regret going to PSU?  Came in with similar accolades, arguably better,  than Lee's and Steveson's. Ended up a 1x champ.

Nah, his only regret is staying the same height and having the same wing span since his freshman year in high school and graduating the Covid year.  Hurt him in those matches against Valencia at the tournament.

Hall only had 3 opportunities because of COVID and he had another generational talent to contend with.

This seems like a really bad time to kick Iowa fans when they're down(never thought I'd say that).

Lee was a dominant Wrestler who won 3 NCs and got upset in the Semis.

Surgery and injury management aid in recovery. Also have to imagine RBY as a practice partner would be better for injury management then Austin DeSanto.

Lol.  What evidence do you have of any of this?

Wow... I'm kind of surprised that the Pastry Man didn't start this thread.

Unless Packard  beat him in a defensive block (good show, ol' bean!)

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
