Finals run outside the top ten is fair question.

But tons of guys outside the top ten can make the podium.  Maybe shoot a little deeper with unranked guys or guys outside the top 25 making the podium.

Nininger of VTech at 165lbs?

Was a lot of chitterchat on Stiles and/or Swiderski's showing at 74 KG earlier this year, but he outperformed both of them, I believe, beating one.

@NotMikeMal Are you looking for breakout candidates that have been around? There are a lot of freshmen that haven't earned a top 10 rank and will definitely be serious podium threats and potential finalists, but most of those guys are fairly well known. I'll respond later when I have a little more time, but I'll direct my thoughts towards what you are looking for.

I look for Carter Schubert to take a step forward in the Iowa room and push for a podium spot.

I look forward to seeing Jacob Herm (165) and Jarrett Wadsen (184) compete for the Jackrabbits this year. I could see these guys getting into the rankings as the year progresses.

Really was looking forward to Endene going for Little Rock at heavy. Sincerely think he could win the weight. Call me crazy but he was jacked and uber athletic. Can't wait to see him in the senior FS scene.

I think the Cortez's will make a big splash their first years out

Will Denny will be back in a major way

I think Lucas Cochran is going to be a major factor in that Nebraska line-up, don't think he could break through that top 4 but crazier things have happened

VT’s Noah Ninninger.
Prior to getting hurt his true freshman year, he had a great but brief season. He bumped to 165 and appears to likely take the spot from Church.

Dude is laidback and cool as a cucumber from an emotional standpoint with a high, under the radar potential

the baby faced killa will get some big wins along with some of the usual freshman bumps in the road but by March, he’ll be a force to contend with for almost everyone

Pretty sure Endene was announced as out of eligibility a week or two ago unfortunately.

Denny was a big surprise at NC St last year.  Good recruit but I definitely didn't expect him to jump on the scene so fast.  He'll likely be very good this year.

The dark horse challenge needs to return before day one of the season. If I recall, it was who would go undefeated the longest and the criteria was non-AA but it's been a few years
