    We all look at the names in the rankings and see the guys who are potentially underrated. But for us lazy guys—give up the names of some unranked guys that can really turn heads?

    Finals run outside the top ten is fair question. But tons of guys outside the top ten can make the podium. Maybe shoot a little deeper with unranked guys or guys outside the top 25 making the podium.

    No one is deferring a year of eligibility to redshirt. If you are on the team and not grayshirting, you are competing for spot.

    Wow. Addition of guys like Vega, Henson coming back, Mendoza, Echemendia, Larkin, etc. have quickly turned this into a much deeper group this season….

    Hmmm. I have heard that he believes himself to be a 149 and Catrabone is not big enough to go 165 anyway. So who is the odd man out in Ann Arbor?

    So what is the story then at 149? Are they rolling with Casey or is Jamison coming back this year?

    i have it the same except I will take Robideau over Watters—and won’t be surprised if it is a maj. dec. Anecdotally, I believe Conley is out awhile with injury—not that it changes the result for that weight. Also, McDougald looked banged up at UNC so I imagine there is a high likelihood he is out as well….

    Of course—that is what the rule basically says. Refs just need to call it that way. You may not be arguing against guys that are working aggressively, but several others were arguing for dumb rule changes. The rules maintain the integrity of folkstyle wrestling. You don’t change good rules because of poor execution. And the rules aren’t hard or ambiguous. It is called quite well at the high school level if you ask me. educate the refs and make sure they perform or get rid of them.

    Absolutely not. It takes time to get turns. Often times you gotta wear that bottom guy down. Break him. That takes time. You can’t reward the bottom guy by letting him out. Top wrestling will be over if the bottom guy can just sit down there and get let off the hook. mat returns are fun. Guys stuck on their belly while the crowd cheers is fun. Holding a grown man down against his will is fun. You guys must hate folkstyle.

    I think Block will win at 149. And Iowa will also get either 141 or 157. Hawks win. Again.

    Looking at some Big 10 lineups on WrestleStat. Regarding Wisconsin: 1) Is Amos gonna be back and going up to HWT? Is Dillon Johnson just focused on football? 2) Is Zargo really coming back at 149--I never heard any update on his recovery and whether he would attempt to return? 3) What is the status of Julian George...will he fit in at 149/157? I thought he was a solid recruit coming out of HS but hasn't wrestled much at all....
