the reason is that Rosa Parks broke the law with the open intention of being caught, or the outside chance the law was never enforced again. She was not an incidental person hoping to get away with it, similarly was gandhi burning the papers he was supposed to tote around south africa, he was doing it publicly not as the result of being a lousy criminal, but because the public nature of the display was intrinsic to his intent, even more so than the destruction of the cards. 

If Hokit was truly blatant in his disingenuous attention seeking, he would have made it known in advance. For instance if someone was a radical free speech advocate, they might announce they are gonna say "the n word" on TV with the intention of pointing out the absurdity of the performative mania which would ensue, that would be blatant. If the same person got caught on a hot mic saying it in private, you guys would say "look he blatantly said it", basically destroying the utility of the word. 

According to you guys if saw a large hot dog, describing it as "big" and "monstrous" would mean exactly the same thing because they are synonyms. Its not impressive that you guys can regress semantically for the purposes of petty argumentation. Its what 13 year olds think is smart.
