It’ll be interesting to see how Vito does at 65kg but he is in an absolutely monstrous bracket.

Merrill and Sinclair being in the same bracket blows my mind

Tbh I didn’t recognize any names at 97kg so I skipped over them

This will be Kerk’s first tournament wrestling for Spartan Combat RTC

Didn't Vito have surgery for a pretty serious injury not too long ago? I want to say neck or spinal discs, but not sure. I didn't think he'd be competing again so soon.

Yeah why the hell is Sinclair not at 86?

I have no clue, he is wrestling 190 at RAF08. Five day turnaround so he might just not want two weight cuts in the same week

He has one tournament under his belt at 65kg but against international. A couple wins and a 18-15 loss in the finals.

I’m hoping Yianni can make a comeback from whatever he is dealing with

Chance back at 79 is super exciting. Of not Seidel is entered at 65kg for u20's which leads me to believe 133 will not be in the picture next year. Could see him and Bo battle it out which would be absolute cinema. Seidel has the option to redshirt as does Bo but I feel like with Eddie and Henson having one more year they are going to want to put the best lineup out there so I am guessing we see

141: Seidel
149: Bassett/Gaj
157: Henson

sorry to make this into an NCAA post just thought it was intriguing.

This has become a lot more realistic although Frayer mentioned Bassett as a 141 the other day. Caleb's best weight is also probably 149. Can't see a world where they put a RS on a guy who can compete for a national title two years in a row but it may have to happen. Also Gorman up at 70kg some speculating he's bulked up and going for the 157 spot, and that's where they'd bring in Melvin if they do end up going that route (still unlikely)

Giving Seidel a year to grow into 141 may not be the worst move, although I think he may be a bit better than Bo at folk at the moment. Both guys are immediate title contenders. I think Henson would be my pick to win 149 but probably not 157. There are a ton of good options for 157 with Ninninger, Gaj, Gorman potentially.

Sinclair is wrestling 86, but for U20 freestyle.  Interesting that he didn't register for 86 senior freestyle.  Must prefer his path at 92.

I would imagine its having to hold weight for each weigh in.

That's pretty cool.    When I did Veteran's, folks at work thought I was a bit off.   But it was fun and I had a great time.   I wasn't good, but I met a lot of great guys along that trek.

Yeah he's going in men's, full on trying to beat the best. I have a few friends doing the old timers and I think that'd be a lot of fun, but I'm too old to be checking to see if I could still make a world team (I never was within 1000 miles of being that good) ... He's like 28 so maybe this will change his view.

I'm doing my first BJJ event May 16th (I've gone to about 6 practices ever so pray for me .... This was a JH kid challenging me to try it )

But maybe I'll enter Vets in 2027, it does seem like fun.

I bet you crushed MSPART!
