  1. Past hour
  2. would i be floored if Thomas Gilman popped? no. but that's not what happened. there's a lot of people acting as though he was doping. this doesn't mean that, so save the outrage unless/until more comes out. The fact is, Gilman was done after his three-worlds-in-12-months run. he got too big.
  3. If Snyder moves to Stillwater, I'll bet his wife stay behind to 'hold the fort' or 'let the kids stay in their current school'. How utterly humiliating for her. Does she ever attend another USAW event?
  4. I like Zahid, but his gas tank has always been an issue.
  5. Today
  6. I'm happy that you learned something!
  7. Three new Biden threads last evening I see. Something something DS…
  8. I like Gilman and I'm inclined to chalk this up to DGAF, but don't forget, he was scheduled to go to the May 11, 2024 Olympic qualifying tournament as a back-up for Lee in case he got hurt just beforehand. That would've been after the 4/28/24 missed "whereabouts." He talks in this video here about how he pissed off Cody by basically telling him at the last minute that he wasn't going, when Cody was already overseas with Zain. His explanation why is pretty murky, and it sounds like he was apologetic to Cody about it later. Is that sequence of events consistent with Gllman not giving a F after trials and just checking out mentally? Yeah. Is it also consistent with him smoking some weed or whatever after trials, then having an "Oh crap" moment when he realized he still needed to show up as a backup in May in case Lee screws up his knee again, so he suddenly decided to make himself scarce rather than endure the embarrassment of a flunked drug test? Yeah. Do I care? No, not really, though either way, I'm sure a lot of us would've cared had Lee tweaked his knee just before that qualifier.
  9. Fresh start for all.
  10. I highly doubt that Snyder is going to move to Stillwater at this point in time. I can’t imagine Kyle going in and telling his wife that they are uprooting and moving halfway across the country on the heels of his incident. I think Kyle has a lot of work to do on the home front and I think that he will wrestle at Final X. Now whether or not this problem takes a toll on his wrestling, we will have to see.

  12. is this realy @mspart
  13. not nearly enough misspellings and made up words to be mudflap though grok has a bit to learn
  14. i repeat, he never failed a test while competing.
  15. @red viking to the Zoo
  16. That's actually pretty cool
  17. Yup, just found this:
  18. I could be wrong, but I get the feeling that he doesn't want to participate in the event as it is hosted by Oklahoma State and HC David Taylor. Their participation would show them willingly cooperating and supporting the event hosted by turncoat David Taylor. If this was going to be hosted by PSU, I think Cael would host it, win, and cash the check for $200k. It's stubbornness of wanting to discredit the event his former pupil is hosting by not participating. There is a reason that they are the only school in D1 wrestling that opted out. People can say it's because Cael only does what helps win in March, but I believe there is more to it than that.
  19. One think I noticed is that OCU has an assistant coach with the last name Picklo - must be related.
  20. I'm guessing Truzz is suggesting that there is more variability with Woods, but higher potential. McKenna has been scrapping at this weight for a long time now and it's hard to say he's really shown much growth. Woods has been wrestling freestyle for less than a year and managed to win the trials tournament.
  21. Yes I am aware if he's winning he can elect to sit it out on the bottom and I would lose if he gives up the point. Ok you have a great to chance to win and I have a little chance to win. It seams it's just a bold prediction on my part, placing him at that high a level, but I will go with a fun little wager. Bragging rights? You're way ahead already. hahaha! Actually I hope you guys are right and A US citizen is the national champ The bet would be: No wrestler earns a RT point on him this coming season. I win (no stipulations) If you would clarify the debt I would incur to confirm please.
  22. I don't really see how anyone can defend PSU not going. They are de facto #1. For what will become the #2 premier event to be at in the college year to not have the top dog is head scratching. Hope they go next year to take the spot from OSU or Iowa
  23. You believe this description is better than McKenna?
  24. First violation happened almost 3 weeks after John Smith retired and just before Gilman accepted the OSU job, and the other two were at OSU. Is the OP saying this is a NLWC culture issue because it happened under Taylor, who is a PSU/NLWC guy? Odd conclusion.
  25. Interesting. Would've guessed D2 powerhouse UCO if they were going down a level
