  1. Past hour
  2. Ah, hadn’t heard that, thanks. But it’s not just a singlet, Blades is part of HWC. https://hawkeyewrestlingclub.com/newsletter/may-2025/ Interesting that they don’t mind having pretty much their entire NCAA men‘s roster listed as part of HWC, but Blades appears to be the only woman to make the cut. Keep in mind the women’s team also includes World Medalist Kylie Welker and 2x World Medalist Macey Kilty.
  3. Why? I suspect this donation is actually a vote of confidence in Valenti.
  4. Other: Trump will be renaming Penn St U and their mascot.
  5. There is a lot happening at Rokfin: https://www.indiemediatoday.com/p/rokfins-bizarre-behavior
  6. No need. Johnson sent Congress home early, avoiding a vote most of congress wanted to press to release more information. Instead of the Speaker giving the elected officials a chance to vote for something the vast majority of the American people want, he gave them extra vacation. Nothing to see here.....
  7. Bechtold is a Lehigh commit.
  8. Yesterday it was "overwhelming" underwhelming evidence against Obama. Today it is 250k pages of MLK Jr. files. What shiny object meant to distract from the Epstein client list will tomorrow bring?
  9. Askren was the guy that could score 50 points in a match against guys he was better than. He was the father of the funk and the tech fall! Askren simply was not strong in comparison to the very top guys and when he met an equal opponent it was evident. Never could beat the top group of guys. He had an amazing marketable niche but should not be considered the greatest of an era.
  10. My wife had a doctor's appt at Weightman a few years ago and while checking out I asked the guy taking the information if he knew the names or accomplishments of any of the athletes pictured on the walls. He did not. I briefly mentioned he had walked by a picture of world and olympic champion Jordan Burroughs. He had no idea. I hope the day comes when this changes.
  11. Don't know, but if he "manufactured evidence" as the wingers are proclaiming, I don't think he would be protected. Just a best guess. I don't think that manufacturing evidence falls within the presidential duties.
  12. I know; was just easier to make a point of the two finals losses in the comment I was quoting. I believe Ben did get him once in college but that's nothing compared to Pendleton's 7
  13. So right off the bat, what is the specific allegations against Obama you would like to discuss. Gabbard says Obama Obama in the headlines, but the report, of which what has been released doesn't say much that would lead to any criminal charges, speaks to officials in the administration. Once you establish in your hypothetical specifically what is being alleged by Obama that may be a criminal offense in usual circumstance, we can then look specifically to the opinion given in the presidential immunity case, and try to answer your hypothetical from there.
  14. We have found the problem. T'weep and others believe that crime is not a big deal. How much "little deal" crime becomes a burden on the citizens nearby? Every attempt to put structure on this question is highly successful (3 strikes laws, sentencing minimums, etc.) and then ended as soon as the success of it is noticeable and quantified. Note that T'weeps' team also is very specific about who is doing "no big deal" stuff. Grandmothers from Kansas taking selfies between velvet ropes must be bankrupted and jailed to the max extent of the law. Illegal aliens doing 8 more illegal things . . . Meh, not a big deal.
  15. It wasn't just the two finals wins. Pendleton beat Ben 7 times in college and then a couple years after Askren was out of college he beat him again in freestyle. Pendleton was just better.
  16. They just landed Bechtold! But the athletes can't get any money at Ivies correct? Goes to school, facilities, gear etc. This is why Burroughs would never consider it?
  17. Today
  18. THE SOLUTION. The Washington Orangeskins!! I love it. The other solution is to keep the Redskins name but change the logo to a potato. With feathers, of course.
  19. Let's just assume that the allegations are true, just as a thought exercise. Does the SCOTUS decision protect Obama? That is the question that no one has answered yet. It doesn't matter if there will be a prosecution, indictment, or anything. Assuming the allegation is true, does the SCOTUS decision protect Obama? mspart
  20. I was fortunate to go to Goodwill games in Seattle and saw US/Russia. John Smith wrestled there, but I was younger and don't really remember anyone else that was there. I could look it up, but what I do remember is the US won that round and it was a really fun time watching that. mspart
  21. They can afford scholarships for sports, but choose not to provide them. They do have a lot of financial aid for non wealthy students. They look at sports as an extracurricular activity, belive it or not
  22. Burroughs as HC is the obvious move
  23. Ivy League schools can't offer scholarships for sports. There is no "full ride". Anyone receiving scholarship money at these schools is entirely from financial need (they don't have any merit scholarships either). They have opted out of NIL as well, but that does not stop the athletes from receiving independent NIL deals for sponsorships, etc.
  24. I can 100% guarantee that he won't. Absolutely nothing new is coming out here.
  25. Yah; that's already known information, and doesn't imply that Obama himself did anything criminal. It was also during the last Trumpstard administration (6 yrs ago) so if they had anything on him for that they would have charged him then. Absolutely nothing and a bunch of BS.
