Here is a good one. Transcript provided. First half is John Kirby explaining how they (Iran) won’t be able to use the $ for nefarious things. That we would know what the $ was used for. Second half is after a large withdrawal where they ask John Kirby what the $ was used for and he says I don’t know. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8r4UFvD/ 00:00:00 --> 00:00:03 We'll have visibility, and we'll be able to engage in oversight 00:00:03 --> 00:00:05 about where the money was going 00:00:05 --> 00:00:06 and for what purpose. 00:00:07 --> 00:00:09 If Iran tries to divert the funds, 00:00:09 --> 00:00:12 we'll take action and we'll lock them up again. 00:00:12 --> 00:00:14 And there will be sufficient oversight 00:00:14 --> 00:00:16 to make sure that the request is valid 00:00:16 --> 00:00:18 and that it's going through. 00:00:18 --> 00:00:18 Uh, uh, 00:00:18 --> 00:00:21 vendors who we. Who we and the cutteries can trust 00:00:22 --> 00:00:25 will actually contract for the goods, 00:00:25 --> 00:00:26 the medical equipment, the food, 00:00:26 --> 00:00:29 whatever it is. The regime doesn't get to touch the money. 00:00:29 --> 00:00:32 Peter doesn't go to them. They don't get to the. 00:00:32 --> 00:00:34 They don't get to decide, uh, 00:00:34 --> 00:00:36 ultimate destination. Uh, 00:00:36 --> 00:00:36 and, uh. 00:00:36 --> 00:00:38 And they have no direct access to it. 00:00:38 --> 00:00:39 Um, John 00:00:39 --> 00:00:42 Iran made two transactions 00:00:42 --> 00:00:46 withdrawing from the previously frozen funds in Oman. 00:00:46 --> 00:00:48 What were those transactions for? 00:00:48 --> 00:00:51 I don't have the details on that, Jackie. 00:00:51 --> 00:00:53 You're gonna have to let me get back to you on that.

I just don't get why the Insurance would not pay for the transplant. There are a whole set of reasons they won't and the only possible one would be "experimental," or some type of non-authorized procedure. All the rest...that I know of, medically neccessary, his ability to care for himself, be able to get care to support himself financially...comorbidities, none of those would be applicable. But whatever...Dana White is donating 300-400K from what I've read and the Wrestling community is... pretty good about taking care of their own, so whatever BS reason insurance won't cover it, I'm thinking they can make up the rest. All the rest of the information is great and...the most important though.

I was gonna say Cruise as he's just been playing the same role for the last 25 years... but I think he CAN play better roles. Risky Business, a Few Good Men(I could watch that movie every night). But I've definitely thought about him for a while. Also, it's hard to watch Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise if you've read a Jack Reacher book. You picture...well, the guy who plays Reacher in the TV show. 6'5 just Tony Mandrich type guy(the roided up one)! You can't flip that 6'5 for 5'6 and take it as serious. Plus, now I think of Xenu or whatever and it's...even sillier.

First I don't have HBO Max and second am away from TV for a couple weeks. I've seen others documentaries and was simply asking questions not defending anyone. Anytime I watch a documentary I ask why didn't they cover this aspect? There's only so much they can do in the time frame. And maybe it is a Big 10 issue cause I could tell stories about a 5th. -
Nobody, including papa Bassett, is saying that was the reason for the fallout To keep things brief, from what I gathered, Bill Bassett wanted Bo and Melvin to train at the RTC whenever (and, according to rumors, that the expenses should be covered by someone else). Tom said the compliance department said no. I've also have read repeatedly that Bill Bassett either 1) wanted to have a say in/influence over how training was conducted or 2)offered his unsolicited opinion on how training should be conducted. I've read and heard a bunch of other unsubstantiated claims on what else was demanded but I think that is all hokey. My uninformed opinion is that tensions have been brewing for quite some time and this was just the latest incident that led to a final snap

A decade ago we were discussing the same stuff with Snyder, Burroughs and co. Time flys & we are having fun. Good luck to all our guys & gals.

The first account I read had the QB/assistant coach saying he saw what happened in the shower & had to think about it overnight before telling Paterno. Maybe they got it wrong? -
Is it possible he got "guaranteed" signing money that vested after a specific time & now that time has passed? If so, he can do the whole show again & make even more money. Does he give refunds to any of those who bought his I Love Iowa gear?

Someone post the link to donate to his medical fund and maybe pin it. I bought my tee shirt.

My biggest question in all this, is did Bo and family expect for all in involved to live in the Hawkeye family room until they all hit the ground and after? Meaning come train whenever for however long? 1 yrs worth for Bo, 2 for Melvin and 3 for Keegan? It’s not making sense. Outside of Spenser and Desanto who else is making moves on the seniors circuit? Caliendo wrestled recently but not often. Eierman left Mizzou saying the move can help his aspirations to win Olympic medals and he’s not been doing anything of note for how long? Yes could they make the bassetts better, most likely, but I would guess there are clubs, high schools or other rooms in the PA area that probably have high level training partners closer to home. It’s just not making sense. The Iowa room is good, but it’s not top tier compared to others. It would make more sense if he went to Colorado Springs for the year, EAP program or whatever it’s called.

Blah blah blah. Because you think it is doesn’t make it so. Good grief the arrogance.

You’re taking about the 400 million in cash, along with forty years of interest that totaled to between 1-2 billon, that was Irans money in the first place and frozen in the 70’s, that resolved the rulings of the international tribunal in The Hague….correct? I mean I thought I was talking about the beginning of Iran’s nuclear program in the 50’s and 60’s, but that’s the payment you are talking about, correct?
-
You are amazingly consistent with these threads. Bravo

I'm sorry but there is zero chance that "not getting a handful of free flights" is the reason Bo decommitted. Absolutely zero. That's a cover, I don't care what any social media warriors or wrestling content creators say about it.
