    read the first post. i (we) aren't trying to place more ads (or make more money, for that matter). we had to change the service we use for placing ads. whole new vendor. might take a bit to tweak.

    Guys, we just changed ad service. we didn't 'turn up' frequency of ad placement or anything. i can understand your hatred of too many ads, but i promise you it's not on purpose. i want everyone to enjoy coming to the site. it's an entirely new service, so there's bound to be some tweaks. give @BobDole a moment to fine tune it. and continue to let us know here, what you're seeing (apparently we're all seeing different things). thank you.

    i thought Michigan got a decent amount of ribbing. perhaps not as much as iowa. but they took some heat.

    ^^^ Cav is dead on. The only 'cost' associated to the University is any collateral damage done to the culture of the team. Also, the scuttlebutt is Aiden Riggins to ISU. i myself have not heard that from any reliable source but that's the rumor. apparently Brad Hill is on the move, too

(Cannon was supposed to make it 5) although 3 of 4 AA's were transfers

    idk if he plans/intends on going 165 but he's really big/heavy right now. obviously, Iowa is paying him to wrestle 157. he probably doesn't have to even make it until second semester so there's plenty of time. if he can't get down to 57 it would be nothing short of a disaster. (unless Cali can make 157 (effectively))

    in addition. and it's also abundantly clear now that the transfer portal (and it's supposed rules/regulations) do not mean what we all thought they did. apparently, you can transfer at any time.

    because they guy didn't pull guard. which means, he just didn't lay on his back (which is rare, and rarer yet against a wrestler). so some dorks were chirping that the 'great wrestler jason nolf couldn't even win with ruotolo standing'. a lot of people (including wrestling people) were crying about wrestlers defending wrestling. far fewer saw the genesis of the argument.
