ffs, he did not kill the national duals. he chose not to participate and the only reason anyone cared (and cares now) is because they are far and away the best team in the country. the original national duals was at an absolutely asinine time of the year. did Tom Brands kill Midlands? Who killed Wilkes Open? Did John Smith kill collegiate duals? did Mike Grey? who killed Southern Scuffle? Who killed Reno TOC?
