I'm the same... though not an old Okie State fan, I just... appreciated how dominant they were the last time they won it and they sure as hell look like they're loading up for another run. Ohio State looks loaded, but just can't quite get seem to finish out the roster to get over the hump. Iowa is loaded. They've added some very good Wrestlers... but it's Okie State that we're all looking to in a... what, probably 2 years and hoping to see if they can unseat PSU. It's a great story. Taylor retires from competition, goes out beating one of the best Wrestlers in the world, the kid who came with Cael and is now building a loaded program at Oklahoma St. I also love seeing Va Tech getting the talent they're getting. Melvin Miller was giving PJ Duke a match in what may be the greatest "High School" season ever. That said, if PSU has 6 Champs and sets the point record again, I'm going to be impressed by them just like I was in awe of Alabama's Football dominance or any excellence in sports.

Well... for starters, you're the one saying you gave NINE examples of Wrestlers who went to Penn State and didn't improve. Mesenbrink has been the most dominant Wrestler in the Country.... but "doesn't count." Ok, then why'd you count him? Lawson- If you play football and then get back into Wrestling and you become an AA, I'd say that's... some evidence the coaching is doing a pretty good job. Yeah, I predicted the same about Welsch. I did it because I think '84 has more young talent than any other weight. I think Sinclair is vastly underrated, Ferrari, Ryder and McEnelly is a helluva group of Freshmen and I could see any of them winning it...or Welsh, but I'll put my money on McEnelly or Sinclair. Of course, anyone who understands Nuance would understand he can get better and not place higher. He took a 2nd in a weight with 3 National Champs because he was on the opposite side of the bracket as all 3 and didn't have to Wrestle them because a Penn State Wrestler beat both of them... I'm unsure why you think you're "trolling" me. I'm not a Penn State fan. Just a College Wrestling fan who... thinks your whole "Wrestlers don't get better at Penn State," thing is... just silly. But what I really don't get is why you say "at Rutgers of all places?" You give Rutgers a stud, they'll win a NC. Penn State just... tends to get all of the studs. They've gotten those studs because people want to Wrestle for Cael and Casey and they want to be on a dominant team. I mean, it's obvious you're trolling, I'm just not sure why. It's a weird argument. And then YOU make a list and then you pick it apart after making it. Seems... pointless. If you take a RS who didn't really Wrestle as a Freshmen, you get him into the Finals vs a multiple time champ like Carr where he loses... IMO because he didn't realize he was down on RT(I think that's pretty obvious) and that's his ONE career loss thus far with... nobody looking like they're particularly close and you say "see, didn't get better," well, I guess it is just kinda weird and trolling.

Yeah, but you didn't. YOU'RE including Mesenbrink, Kerkvliet, Sanderson(who improved)... Dean who won a NC, Jimmy Lawson became an AA at PSU, hadn't been prior. And one guy who didn't even finish up his career Wrestling as he was injured at Kent State and then injured at Penn State. Not really 9 examples.

Look at all the talent from Wisconsin doing big things across the country. Look at how many of them are doing it for Wisconsin? I don't actually dislike Bono that much. Some things get blown up like the Burwick release that... wasn't on Bono. But the fact is, if you could keep Wisconsin kids in Wisconsin... or even like...half of them, you'd have a top 5 program. Wisconsin hasn't done that. He and Askren don't get along. The why is moot. They don't. The kids who are from Wisconsin but Wrestle at Pinnacle, they have a strong pipeline to Minnesota. The Crass kids aren't quite as aggressively anti-Wisconsin... to the point where they'll rank their top 80 programs and not have Wisconsin listed among them(almost as if they're trying to think of schools they'd go to over Wisconsin...which is mildly amusing). But they're not good. And they're not good in a very different way from when Barry Davis was there. They're not good in a way that they should be able to be a top 10 program with a coach who had a better relationship with coaches and people in the state.

Then what was? Condemning violence?
