No, it's not "easier," but it's also not any more difficult. That's just how I write. More to the point, it's how I'd speak, so I write it how I'd say it. Stream of Consciousness. And THAT would be "post padding?" Writing '33 instead of 133? Sure, that makes a TON of sense. I'm padding my posts by substituting a quotation mark in lieu of a number...the exact same number of characters. Dude... you've posted... I don't know, at least 2 or 3 times today about my posts(I think on this thread) and you seem quite bothered by longer posts which you're obviously obligated to read. You also seem to think the more weird little passive aggressive pre-teen like comments you make I'm going to change. Tell me, in the last 8 months and the however many times you've done that, have I ever once expressed enough respect for your opinion that I'd change how I write? Now... I was having a pretty good conversation with @nhs67 and while you talk about "post padding," which you clearly consider important, you've posted multiple times about the structure of my posts. You got anything to add here other than I use too many paragraphs? Are you the boards version of an HOA policing my word count? In fact, I'm getting strong "stay at home Dad who ran for the HOA board," vibes here. You probably get that awesome golf cart and get have that time going, making sure everyone's go those garbage cans in within 12 hours of when they're emptied! Just waiting for someone t run a minute over so you can and police something else so tedious but you find it SUPER cool! Anything else? -
Ok...and what I said was; Did I say 85%? I don't recall. I do know they have like 125,000 employees and about ~2000 are located in Texas. If you want to call that a "Texas" company... ok...cool. Their R&D, sales, consulting, engineering, support, and research are all located in California. They are at their offices in Irvine, Pleasanton, Redwood Shores, Rocklin, Santa Clara, Santa Monica. Their famous "Emerald City," in Redwood is STILL where their innovation and engineering takes place. Meanwhile, in Texas, they subleased the office that is their "Headquarters." So please, lets not insult each others intelligence anymore by arguing the parts of these companies that make them valuable are from Texas or...wherever. Or...again, that anyone gives a single bowel movement about In and Out now paying Tennessee tax rates while still making most of their money in... California. As for their "overregulation," yeah... I've said that repeatedly. And Texas is the other end of that spectrum with their power grid and building standards. They have ZERO regulation. There's a happy medium. I don't know where you live, but the entire State doesn't shut down because it's 30 degrees and and the unregulated power grid goes down.

Ok... for starters, I don't care where you've worked. I mean, anecdotally... it's midly interesting, but it's got nothing to do with the subject. Now, the companies that left. I see you start RIGHT out of the gate with Tesla. I believe I addressed this one and ...in fact others on the list. They move their headquarters out. They still have their engineering department there. The Brains of the operation. Why? Because that's where the talent is, that's where the majority of their workers are. Same thing with Oracle. Palantir-Again, all of it's major offices are in...Palo Alto. D, software engineering, product management, Palo Alto. The bulk of the company, California. It's moved for tax purposes. Oracle-Already touched on that one. Space X-Where do they actually create and make their rockets? Hawthorne, California. And then they ship them to Texas. Why? For the same reason TSMC had so much trouble finding enough people in Arizona and had to pay massive bonuses to get people to move there. THE TALENT IS IN CALIFORNIA. The talent, the programmers, the venture capitalist, the innovation, it's almost all in...California. I'm actually just amused that you cited In and out Burger. Again, they just announced and the majority of their stores are in California, but I don't think the argument was EVER made that California's importance to the Union was it's...fast food. And....seriously? Did you include a HAIR Care company? LOL... Jamba Juice? Let me ask you something, when Tesla moved to Delware, what do you think ACTUALLY changed? Nothing. And then when they wouldn't give Musk his 55B package...which to be fair, they should have, and I voted for it, but all the same, you think anything changed when they moved again? You're telling me where they rent an office with an address on it so they can pay less in taxes, NOT where the actual innovation happens. AND... this is ALL ignoring that 5 of the 10 BIGGEST companies in the world are STILL in California including the most important ones. NVDA, AVGO...AMD(and hundreds more, but that's the industry that's QUICKLY becoming the largest in the world. It's obvious you just cut and pasted this as there's no Earthly Way you would mention a Fast Food restaurant that JUST changed headquarters to somewhere in Tennessee and STILL has the vast majority of it's locations in California(I think it was 350 as the announcement was just a week or two ago). Or JAMBA JUICE? Please, prey tell, what is the strategic importance of Jamba Juice? The entire world is literally fighting over Nvidia's B200 NV72 GPU Clusters to power their Data Centers and they need Broadcom(AVGO) to help make the specialized chips to make them work, and SMCI to cool the Data Centers as they run so hot. But...Jamba Juice and Paul Mitchell Hair Care Products moved their headquarters. Yeah, I'd say that's about equal importance! Yeah, this is about the importance of California to the United States. If you want to talk about other States and which states are run better, you can look at the States with the most violent crime and the worst education. But again, even the companies you mentioned... you glossed right over the fact that the largest ones I'd ALREADY mentioned and pointed out that the most essential aspects of their business are STILL located in California. And now you want to talk about other blue states? Well, lets see if they can find the talent they need to build the world's most sophisticated semiconductors in Mississippi or Alabama. Even Taiwan Semiconductor which moved to AZ, a Purple State, they've publicly said that was a mistake as they costs were ~20% higher to hire people FROM California to come and work at their fabs. So now, AGAIN, we're living in a world in which California is NOT part of the United States and they do NOT have to subsidize the red states and they don't have to pay 126 BILLION DOLLARS. Operating under this very simple premise, do you think Canada's more valuable corporations would be able to move to the most tax advantaged State in the United States(or move to ANY State in the US at all)? I feel like you're not understanding the discussion. It's if California was it's own State. Based on the industry and what is made there(which is going to include much of Space X, virtually everything Tesla is doing with Robotics and FSD, Oracle... as that is STILL where it's more important divisions are located....hell, it's where almost ALL of their company is located but their accounting department). And none of it changes...about 34% of the SPY Market Cap is still business that are headquartered IN California even without the companies who have kept their manufacturing there and only moved their headquarters. Why do you think Elon Musk spends all his time at his CALIFORNIA campuses? Because his business are from Texas?

I I know he lost to him this year, but...he was a Jr in HS and Mirasola spent the whole year just packing on weight and he beat him almost exclusively with pushouts and kina bullying him. Ross looks like he's getting bigger and by the time I just think it's going to be physically overwhelming. Cole Mirasola is... probably a 197 if he's not a twin and if his Brother didn't want to go to PSU. He can add weight, but... it's gonna be tough for him to get up to 240 and still be as athletic as he is. Ross could get to 260 and I don't think he's lose much. Mirasola's path is probably better at '84 and '97 in College, but they are committed for one more year to State College. I don't believe that's the case with HGH but I don't know... It's also pretty lazy to just play into those rumors. There's nothing there but some guys putting on muscles and a couple guys popping. We had guys who took steroids. We didn't turn them in, but...we looked down on them(though they were...big and our HWTs so only in a figurative sense). So I'll refrain from mentioning that again as there's no basis other than... he got really big...which lots of guys do. He's also not some guy who just came onto the scene, he was one of the best Wrestlers in the 2nd best State, probably the best Wrestler in the Country in HS, he was SO close to being a 4X undefeated champ. If Dake wasn't looking for a challenge and he doesn't get caught on his own move... anyway... The thing I'm not sure about is that Taylor and Hamiti really had different builds. Taylor was so skinny and long and I see that in Hamiti. You would know better than I, but then I'd just say look at Dake. He added a lot of weight, good weight and he didn't have that build where it looked like he had wings. That's where Taylor's physique really changed and was impressive. The shoulders/neck/back. I think this last cycle is going to be viewed as a down cycle and the next couple will be much better. Just a better mix of younger vets and elite College guys a year or two into their careers. One of whom is currently on a World Team at an Olympic weight and the other who should grow into one pretty easily. That's going to be something to watch at Okie State. They seem like for so long guys have held weights that weren't ideal for them. Does Jax end up as a '49 pounder and really add muscle as he goes or does he try and stay down at '33 or even '41? I guess... we should wait for him to finish HS first! -
Big RED Bear? I don't even know what you do when you see those I have the other three down. If it's Black, Fight Back. If it's Brown, lay down. If it's white, say good night. Do you just pretend to not know they're from an Ivy and take subtle jabs like, "wow...Cornell? An Ivy? You mean like Harvard, Yale...Penn, those types of schools? Huh... I never would have thought. I guess in every race, there's someone who finishes last...every test, someone who gets the worst score." (This may only work with one particular Colleague of mine and it invariably gets them fired up to the point where they start telling me how it's better than my alma mater to wit I simply reply, "nah, don't think so,' despite it being true by nearly every metric...and then invariably they bring up RBG....which is when I have to remind her, she only started at Cornell, she knew she had to do better which is why she went to Harvard and Columbia... or Carl Sagan and I say, "yeah, but he was so corny on Full House," and even after the 4th or 5th time it has NEVER not gotten them worked up, but they also wear a Cornell sweatshirt, hat, shirt...literally every single time I see them outside of a work environment). And... no, his name is not Andy and I don't work for a paper company, but it's...not THAT far off. Sorry from derailing this thread, but... it kinda felt like the train was no longer moving and the passengers were disembarking).

Oh, one last thing. I still want to believe... BADLY that DT acquired that physique through relentless training and diet. That Trainor Labs(I know that's not the spelling, but you know who I mean) needs it's guys to stay clean as there's definitely a "guilt by association," type thing that happens with some of these guys. -

I'm not sure what to make of Hopke at this point. He clearly looked to be the top Wrestler at that weight for a while. I'd have placed him ahead of Keuter and Ross right now when he was coming off his Jr year. I just didn't see a jump his Jr to Sr year and then he was banged up at Minnesota and now we're seeing these guys taking a big leap. And for those who'll say I'm crazy, Kueter was better, I'm talking about...at the time, it looked like Hopke had a higher upside. As for the rest, I didn't see Hamiti, I don't know if he gave up a TD and then 4 laces. You can get teched in FS of of one low single that someone transitions to a low single or you can just...not be in it. I try to not put too much weight on a single match(though in fairness, if he'd have beaten...Ghasempour up at 92, I'd have put a bit more weight in it(and that would also have required Hamiti to as well!). But I've seen enough of Hamiti to know what he's capable of. As for Ross and Mirasola... they're not in the same league to me right now. Maybe TODAY Mirasola could beat him just by being more physical(I don't know he could, but for arguments sake) but Ross is just a far better athlete, he's so much longer and he's going to fill out. Watching him earlier on in HS, he looked like he had back problem. He looked like a hunch back. You only realized it was because his back was so damn big when he stood up. He just uncoils and attacks like a Cobra...and for a HWT, he's going to hit blast double on guys... and he can brawl and hand fight with them. Hell, I wouldn't be totally shocked if he tries going '97KG for the '28 cycle upon taking an OLY RS. If he's 235... I don't know, it may be a really bad idea, but if he just has to make the cut a couple times in a OLY RS year...211... it's not crazy and I think he he could be dangerous. I don't think that'll happen, but it's just something that popped into my mind. I thought Rowlands(who Ross reminds me of... but I think Ross has a more explosive and lower shot...we'll see if how that plays out given Rowlands is one of the greatest HWT Wrestlers ever and was himself a very athletic and mobile Wrestler) -went down one year in there, maybe two toward the end. He was just running into Mocco and had trouble taking 2 of 3 from Mocco because he was... just such a Monster and he wasn't just pushing, he had some slick stuff for guys who had to push back as hard as a guy like Rowlands did to hold center, namely that foot sweep. I also could have sworn one year Cormier Wrestled 96KG for Freestyle and 120 for Greco...finishing 1st in FS, but not qualifying for Greco, losing to Byers... but I'm thinking I got that wrong. Tryin to do both would be so insanely difficult, I must be mistaken. Finally, Shapiro... I just don't think he's got the mix of physicality and technique to do it. He has one. He's slicker than a greased up crack head(I'd imagine, I've never participated, but watching the sport, it looks quite difficult)... I just don't don't know if he will be able to stand in there vs Duke who you know is going to build himself into a GOOD sized 165... as presumably will Shapiro, but Duke I would anticipate having much more horse power and Shapiro... I'm sold on him as a GREAT Freestyle Wrestler. He could go 70-0 the next two years and I'd just say, 'ok, makes sense,' but Duke and the plethora of guys coming down(hell, Blaze may end up at 74KG further down the road as I think he has a lot of room to fill out, though I'd imagine he stays at 145.5)... Oh, and Melvin Miller. Get HIM in a College room for a couple years. He may turn out to be a cycle later, but by the time he's done growing, he could be perfect for 79KG and then 86 and Duke's Defense isn't Blaze level, but watching him win a spot on the World Team and ALSO struggle with a kid coming off his Soph year in HS... there is SOOO much talent coming. Lockett. Hell, the longer I keep thinking, the most names I'm going to spit out. And I'm just throwing this out as a Dark Horse, but I would not be surprise to see Charlie Millard end up in this group... now by '28, but shortly thereafter. He reminds me a little of Sinclair, but he's a guy who cuts more, he's a little more intense and... I don't know, he just always felt like he belonged in the same conversation of Hopke, Sinclair, Mirasola's, Mesenbrink, Scholes(another stud), or O'Toole, PK, Wolbert.. just among the real studs from Wisconsin. But that's a big time dark horse and I just want to be able to say "I called it," when he wins a spot in the 2029 World Team beating Ladarion Lockett to get to face Jayden James in a best of 3! -
I know. It's "lots." So many that... it's not even worth naming all of them! And again, even the companies that move their headquarters, they keep the core of their business in California. Oracle(I gave you a 3rd) runs from it's California offices. It's where the majority of it's workforce is and where they're programmers are. And if California didn't have to subsidize so many Red States, their own States taxes would be a LOT lower. ... "what the word losing 40 million a year means?" What is "the word?" You realize that's multiple words, right? Also, I said literally nothing about their P&L. I said you don't know what the word "subjective" is. See, when I did it, I actually used a word. When you did it, you used... a sentence. You also realize that... still doesn't mean someone is funny or not, right? Do you understand why he was canceled? -Do you get he still had the highest viewership, 2.4M a night? -Do you understand people 18-49, the most valuable demographic has largely cut the cord and they're now streaming. So despite his viewership still being dominant, the more important demographic, among which he was...again, still the most popular, well there were less of them watching the show live... as people did in the good old days when Iowa was still the top program. They now stream the show, fast-forward the commercial. What do you think that causes? That's rhetorical, it causes advertisers to pay FAR less in advertising fees. This, NOT the success of the program of the perception of Colbert being "funny," which again, is...objectively...subjective, led to the advertising dropping from 440M per annum to ~220M. That's a 160M a year loss purely due to how people consume Television. It wasn't some larger statement about who is "funny," though with the moron we have running the country suing people for free speech, and paramount going through a merger, that...very likely played a role. In any event, that you thought comedy wasn't subjective isn't NEARLY as stupid as you thinking a TV show that tapes in New York City somehow contributed to California's value to the United States in terms of GDP and more importantly, where 5 of the largest 10 companies in the WORLD are located. I can't imagine someone saying California is important and coming back and answering, 'err...why, because a show they tape in New York City that loses money!' Please Christ tell me you have someone manage your retirement for you. I don't care if they charge 10% per year, you seem like the type who'd invest in DJT or Trump Steaks while saying "Crypto isn't real money! Suckers! I'll never!"

scourge165 replied to okokzach's topic in International Wrestling
Eh... maybe Wrestling less could help, but there's more concussions in Freestyle. I'm not sure what Shapiro's future looks like. He could definitely grow into a solid 163 or 74KG, but... I still like Duke with 3 years of PSU Wrestling and time to grow. He's so damn slick. One sleeper at 86KG is Sinclair. 3 more years of building his body up, he could be a great fit there. I like Hamiti a lot. I think he's a bit slicker than Mesenbrink, but life gets in the way for a lot of these guys. I'll also add, I don't know if Ross can do it in 3 years, but I think in 7 years, he is going to be a REAL threat. The kids are well on their way. -
Oh...I think you mistake me. I know about the suspension his final year at Auburn for Baseball. How he blamed TB for that(I'm not sure that was intentional, but he held a grudge). And I understand he only played 2/3rd of the games, but the question is was he really THAT great or is it more "what could have been." He had 9-10 games and they had Marcus Allen, but he wasn't really splitting carries, he was walking right in and getting 20 a game. But still, he had one year with more than 700 yards. He had like 550, 580, 950 and then 700 in 11 games. So again, it's a "what could have been." Nobody questions his athletic ability. His size, his size, his speed, he hit the hole as hard as a ***I have a limited vocabulary*** on prom night... though he got more than 3-4 pumps in before he was brought down. All of the stuff you're telling me is how great he COULD have been... BUT for these issues that held him back. I think it's clearly what could have been. But he never got there. OJ Simpson ran for 2000 yards in a 14 game schedule. Bo played 11 games a couple years and ran for 700 and topped out at 950. I posted a couple links... yes, he only played partial seasons...which makes you think, again, "what could have been." Even in Baseball, he was healthy through his age 27 season and he was never the best player on his team. Hell, he was never one of the 4-5 best players using WAR(which is the best and most comprehensive way to compare players). He was the most amazing, but... end of the day, 4 years, 8.3 WAR. Eric Davis played at the same time. His career through 27, he put up almost 3X the WAR He was a very poor defensive player(even for LF)... despite some incredible highlight caliber plays. For his career, he had a couple of good seasons, but even the All-Star nod was fan voting and less about how actual ability. I loved Bo. I was a very little kid when he played, but I learned how to read by reading the sports section. Actually a funny story, but in 3rd grade, my teachers thought I couldn't read. They wanted to hold me back. My Dad would buy me the history of Baseball, each seasons Baseball preview, Baseball Encyclopedia, the history of the Super Bowls and I'd spend hours reading them. But I guess I didn't pay attention or something. So I'm at this meeting and they call me in and they ask me to read the sports section and... well, I still remember when it was. The Milwaukee Brewers had let Paul Molitor leave to sign with the Toronto Blue Jays despite a last minute intervention by Brewers owner, and acting commissioner Bud Selig. The teacher was proven wrong, my Dad told me good job and I.... left the room with tears welling up(he was my favorite player)! I also read his auto biography. The one in which he talks about killing a pig with a rock or he talks about killing birds throwing rocks at them. I think he'd have been an all-time great, but he just.. never got there sadly. So, it's more of a "what could have been."
-
I'm pretty sure I know the play you're talking about. Was it vs Seattle? The one where he just ran into the tunnel? He didn't even look like he was running fast. And then you can see on the screen, Seattle had a CB who was one of the fastest in the league. I want to say it was Kenny Easley(SP?) but he was probably the greatest safety in NFL history, so I think I'd remember it was him.... but anyway, whoever it was, they had an angle on Bo. They were not on the playside, so they took off on an angle toward the ~10. It's been a while since I saw a breakdown of the play, but they highlighted this one dude because he was like a 4.35 40 guy and he had SUCH an easy angle on Bo. I mean, give most of us the right angle and we can get there. You have like 90 yards! The way Bo just out ran that guy and everyone else, he was gliding. Again, I wish he would have just played Football for 4-5 years, won a few MVPs and ran for 8-9K yards, then played Baseball for the next 15. The freak injury cost him a lot and he still had a lot of highlights, but... it really was more what he COULD have done. This is what this man did with NO training camp. You miss training camp now due to a holdout, nobody is counting on you to stay healthy. You're not in FB shape. He walked from the Baseball field, right to the Football field and the position you get beat up the most. He also didn't life weights. His legs were too strong. When he was tackled vs the Bengals, everyone else would have just gone down, but he was so strong, he injured his leg(I've seen trainers and others say that had he lifted and trained, he may have had stronger tendons and ligaments and he doesn't suffer that injury... but I haven't a clue if that's true). Still, I just think about what if. What if Tampa doesn't draft him after getting him suspended from Baseball? What if he starts his NFL career 2 years earlier and doesn't have a multi-year layoff? What if he JUST plays Football? In the end, his career...it was better, but his total numbers are similar to AJ Dillon's. That's just...not right! https://stathead.com/football/versus-finder.cgi?request=1&player_id1=JackBo00&player_id2=DillAJ00

It was an EXCEEDINGLY low bar and... yet still fell well short. But we have certainly found something we agree on! Funny... but that'd be one of the most successful companies of the last 20 years had they paid 5M dollars for Netflix in 1998. The Texas company literally laughed at them. Then when Netflix had a little more success, they could have bought them for 50M in 2000. Again...nope. By 2008, they were worth 3.8B...and Blockbuster's 9K stores dwindled down t...one. Incidentally, Netflix, California company now had a 500B market cap. ... you don't know what the word "subjective" means, do you? The ratings for everything are declining. I think it's...very telling that in the midst of the most radical change in the American Economy in over 150 years, when I made mention of the importance of California, you went to Late Night TV and Almonds... Jesus... some people really can't escape that bubble and only see the world though social media clips online.
-
I would say if I was talking about subsidizing the Red States it would be completely ridiculous. California is driving what GDP growth there is, it's driving your 401Ks, your ROTH IRAs and if you have a self managed fund... well, if you're not invested in companies from California, you're...almost certainly losing money. About 34% of SPY is from California(it's significantly higher if you look at the companies that are actually in California, that innovate in California...again, like Tesla who's engineering department is in California but headquarters are often elsewhere for tax benefits. That's the US Market. So yes, what they pay in taxes is extraordinarily important, but almost inconsequential relative to the larger point I was making. It's just the easiest target for the intellectually lazy to take shots at. They ignore the 5 move violent states per capita are Republican States, they just imagine they're all blue.
-
I am at a loss as to why you'd conflate "a few cities" with the larger sentiment. Cool. "Lots." That's a very detailed explanation. Joe Rogan and Elon Musk. Let me ask you this...do you think the US would allow... lets say...NVDA, AAPL, AVGO, QCOM, META to move to another Country? No, of course not. Even when Tesla "moved," from California, to Delaware to Texas(basically whenever Elon doesn't get his way)... their Engineering Department remains in California. Why is this? Because that's where all the Engineers go. That's where the money is. California has the 4th largest GDP in the world, ahead of Japan, India.. It trails just the US, China and Germany...and it'd likely move ahead of Germany and...the US MAY move below China if California was not part of the United States. California is the most important State in the Union. Texas, New York, Alaska... they're important as well, but in terms of innovation, I made a statement and a couple people got a bit emotional about the political leanings of California... which is odd as I didn't bring up Politics. The SINGLE strongest bargaining Chip Trump had when it came to China... was being able to buy Semiconductors that are created in California. The entire world is lining up to buy them. You have an industry that's projected to generate 1 Trillions dollars per annum by 2028 and...it is ALL controlled by California. You have leaders of industry like Elon Musk and Larry Ellison begging... literally begging Nvidia to "take our money, please, take our money first," it's so important to their Company. How about the companies that protect ALL of that information we keep online? California. This is all a moot point as neither California, nor Texas nor... any of the States that make up our Great Country are leaving, but while it's cute for everyone to constantly trash California, you MAY want to stop and consider it's contributions to making the United States great before making some ignorant comments about how what California could have been... 'if only.' If only what? You agreed with their politics? Imagine what Texas could be if they had any regulations and didn't shut down when it was 30 degrees out because they have a 3rd world power grid or what Florida could have been if Meth didn't become the States pastime. Nonetheless, I stand by what I said.
-
I...absolutely believe this. Where is Nvidia, AMD, Broadcom located? PANW, QCOM, SMCI... Oklo... Tesla...which has since pulled up stakes, but in this scenario, California is it's own Country and... obviously wouldn't let them leave. And before people talk about EVs that... is NOT what makes Tesla an important company. In fac, their EV sales are...almost inconsequential. They should be a fraction of the size of Toyota if it was just about their cars. But it's not, it's about the Robotics. Rocket Labs... I mean, you could go on and on, but... you have all of the AI companies, you have the software and hardware and then you have the internet defense companies like PAWN, CRWD and the like. And California would need what from the rest of the US that they wouldn't be able to buy? I started at the end and just noticed people talking about farming and the like... no, that's...not the issue. I'm talking about the technologies that are changing the world and revolutionizing the US Economy and...moreover the Global Economy. The Technology that the Biden Administration thought was too important and powerful to put it in the hands of China or the likes of Saudi Arabia, Qatar...Israel. If California didn't have to pay out to the Federal Government, their Economy would be even stronger. So yes, there's no question California is more important to the US than the rest of the US is to California. The fact that you do have so much farming and that they're on the coast and were it necessary could easily have an endless supply of potable water for for their farming and...what do you suppose they would need from the US? And again, in this scenario, each side is cut off to the other sides resources, technology, what have you. If you find that so amusing Robby... you may want to educate yourself. What did Trump say was the most important Technology and his priority to ensure the United States remain the world leaders in? AI. That ALL originates in California.

Really? I don't know, why don't you look at Semiconductors. The most important technology in the world right now. That's a pretty big one.

This one always gets me. You have a 240 LB RB going downhill and a LBer coming at an angle to meet him. I mean, Bo was INCREDIBLY powerful. He ran over dudes... but a smaller RB is going to win that battle most of the time. It'd be more shocking if Bo was stopped there. I just think that was so infamous because Bo was a huge name and Bosworth was a huge name, both were very high picks. Boz started out strong, had that shoulder injury(this is before I would have actually watched it, but I have watched the 30 for 30 on why it was so big). Mainly though, people were in awe of Bo and disliked Bosworth. I still think that's the most overhyped play in NFL history. There are times Atwater met Bo in the hole and Bo just ran through him. That's more impressive. Atwater coming downhill, squared up, full head of steam and Bo just hitting the hole and putting the 6'3 225LB Atwater on his back? Are we EXEPCTING this LBer to make the tackle here without Bo gaining more yards?

I'd agree with your friend. I don't think he ever had 1000 yards. I know he had a year with like 33 HRs, but a low BA. He was on the verge. Could have easily popped off a few 1500-2000 yard seasons and it wouldn't have surprised me or he could have hit 50 HRs, but he got hurt before he could have. Deion ended up being the MUCH better two sport star.

And... what is it now? The State that supports the Red States the most? The State where most innovation is done? If... in some wild scenario, California became it's own State, the US would need it more than it would need the US(assuming you don't just go in and take what you need by force).

Committee Republicans vote against the PELOSI Act

Again... really not the point, but you tell me. Look at a trade made by Paul Pelosi(we'll assume it all came from Nancy) and tell me what information wasn't readily available to the public? I invested in a stock that went from .77 cents to 22 dollars(I only had a couple thousand shares and sold early, but still). A LOT of people invested in PLTR at 6-7 and then a WHOLE lot at 20 and that's up ~800% this year. Just big returns isn't evidence of guilt. But, again, just have it all done in a blind trust by a Fiduciary. It's pretty simple. My good friend manages well over 1B for one of the largest investment firms in the world. He told me to buy Nvidia in 2015(I didn't... but I did buy it by 2020). He told me to buy AVGO two years ago. I did. So if you want to play this game where you pin the this all on one person, give me something more than...720%. -

I don't really want to get into a whole big thing here, but... she's been invested in NVDA for a long time. Anyone who manages their own portfolio knows that's... not that shocking given her main holdings(and of course it's her Husband who manages their finances). I mean, just NVDA is up 3300% or so from 2020. But...whatever. Have them all put it in a blind trust. Everyone is invested in Nvidia, SPY is mostly like...7 companies that make up 1/3rd of it's value. It's the trades where Biden announces a subsidy for EVs or Trump announces he's rolling back the export controls to the Middle East and China(which he did for semiconductors) and you see people from those parties buying large blocks of call options that pay out 400-500% that are the most egregious. But again, whatever, call it the Pelosi act. I don't care who gets crap for it. We do some really stupid things as a Country. I've got most my money in Nvidia and I was shocked Trump rolled back the sanctions on China which has resulted in a...IDK, 15-20% pump for AMD, NVDA, SMCI. So big fan personally... but not sure it's best for the Country. -
Vito, Hamiti, and more in Poland next week

I'm thinking Duke and McEnelly will be the '74 and '86 in '28. McEnelly could eventually go up to '97... but he was the most impressive Freshmen this year. Starocci...everything else aside, he was one of the all-time greats as much because of his defense as anything else. So for McEnelly to push him and Keckiesen and then take 3rd, I thought that was impressive. You'd be looking at a guy likely on the grind for 4 if not for the Covid year. And '74, instead of looking at who can make the cut, I think Duke will grow into that weight. Mesenbrink could obviously be the guy as well. Not sure his style plays quite as well in Freestyle(though, he'll likely prove me wrong). -
Yeah... and the guy talking about how he has not...morality(not exactly how he put it, it was MUCH harsher) could NOT stop trashing him for his recruiting updates! Now, he's NOT talking about it...AND HE'S GETTING TRASHED FOR THAT! Talk about a no-win situation...

I'm gonna guess Jax comes out and wins a commanding match. He'll get a few more TDs and kinda extend the gap in this match... (I didn't think that at all, I thought Vito would win).

You're interested in Nickal's pettiness? And you're framing this as someone else acting "cool" by pointing out this drives view and yet; So we DO care about the podcast, but not about the two of them Wrestling? Your posts seem incongruent.
