  1. Why does that need an asterisk? They were Brands recruits. They clearly went where they went because of Brands. I think that makes it even more impressive that they all gave up a year to come to Iowa. It also makes me appreciate the new transfer rules more. I was not a fan of Metcalf, but that Caldwell upset could be right there with Owings and now Hendrickson if he had another year. I think he would have won it that year. I also think Iowa has a very good chance to win it.
  2. MMA. He's arguably the biggest name on this list.
  3. AngryBirds? To this day, one of the funniest things I've seen was in the WBs, I'm watching with my HS coach and a few other people and he taps me on the shoulder and points at Tom and Jerry and one is just yelling at the refs and the other grabs him and pulls him back and then HE starts yelling at the refs and then the first one who was yelling and who's brother grabbed him, now he grabs his brother and he starts in on the refs again. This went on no fewer than 10 times. Tom and Terry taking turns trying to pull the other away while yelling at the ref. Just...perfect. And it was like a well choreographed sketch...but not one.
  4. And the future Hodge... I voted for him, but I realized...the board cares not for future accomplishments! I've been told it's immaterial if Ferrari and McEnelly go on to win 7 titles between them, it does nothing to add to how impressive Starocci was this year... In all honesty, I almost gave it to Mcllravy as he seems underrated to me. Maybe that's because he doesn't seem like he's mentioned among the greats often enough...but you persuaded me. The same people who'll talk about Pins will talk about how HWTs just "fall over onto their back." Ergo, HWT isn't as impressive. Also, putting Greco accomplishments in there may skew it for me a bit, but not a ton.
  5. Iowa just need to put their own recruits into the Finals and we'll stop hearing about the stupid injury thing. I've said this before, but it really just seems like Spencer Lee's injury issues were talked about so much more, that's what stuck out. I guess that and then when they had the 3 7th year guys who you thought could win at '41, '65, '74. I also think they're just so directly compared to PSU and Cael seems to REALLY be able to get his guys to believe the Nationals are...just another match, so they go out and Wrestle better whereas others go out and Wrestle worse.
  6. And there's not much talent in that little area anyway, so he's mostly irrelevant!
  7. Ok...I don't know what athletes you've had that have committed fraud or illlegally immigrated, but you should probably educate yourself on the standards. You CANNOT buy your citizenship. Think for a second and see if you can wrap your head round why so incredibly stupid that is. I'll try and once again explain this to you and perhaps you can take a second and read it more closely without getting emotional. EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa- You CAN get a visa with the potential to to get citizenship that would take, at best, 5 years, IF you invest in a BUSINESS in this Country and you support at LEAST 10 FULL-TIME-EMPLOYEES. That, to you, is the same as paying 5M for citizenship. Things that are explicitly illegal; Buying a gas station(your example) and doing nothing with it, not employing enough people... Passive investment (just earning money with no business involvement). Trying to “buy” citizenship. That last one is REAL confusing to you apparently. It shouldn't be... Hey, maybe if you buy enough Trump Steak and go to Trump University you can also get in! Agan, the hell with "Bring us your rested, wealthy 1%, yearning for tax havens!"
  8. I kept thinking the same thing. He's parroting Stephen Mueller is. I think we keep believing this despite all evidence to the contrary. Which one of these guys did they argue to the Court was MS-13 because of the Tatoo of a Soccer team that just had a crown over a soccer ball. That was the sum total of their evidence. I don't know, I'm just finding it amusing that the same guy will defend Trump's attempt to circumvent the constitution by going around the electoral College because he "understands" his feelings, but now we're determining if a guy is a gang member and 2 courts didn't determine that, an appellate court didn't overrule that and it's effectively akin to a PC preliminary hearing. The State says they are, they are. But now Trump is thumbing his nose at SCOTUS.
  9. Not everything can be dumbed down into a sentence or two on here for the poorly educated that Trump loves so much...(his words).
  10. I understand, I'm pointing out there's not much you can do beyond create jobs and grow the economy unless you're going to spend. He didn't try and spend his way out of it. You're also talking about doing so in 4 years....we had one big year of inflation and then it was coming down, it IS coming down. I mean, last month will probably be the last month the CPI decreases month over month with Trump not actively working to increase inflation(while trying to get the fed to bail him out), but I don't know how you want to bring inflation down and lower spending. I'd also like to correct something, the CPI was 2.4% last month. This is probably the last month of Biden's inflation numbers given how Trump's tariffs have caused inflation.
  11. He didn't. He fled because he would be forced to otherwise. And he was doing well. And the Courts ordered him to not be removed. But the Courts don't matter anymore. Trump can ignore them as Trump just ignores them(while @BigRedFantells me how CRAZY it is that Trump would try and run for a 3rd term after he says, "I'm serious, I can run or a 3rd term) our criminal justice system just ignore them...unless we like the ruling, then we're going with them. Not the sign of a Empire falling apart at all!
  12. He WAS? Huh....I thought he was VERY specifically under an order to STAY here because it was deemed his life WAS in danger and he would be forced to join a gang if he went back. But hey, I feel REALLY foolish now. Could you show me this deportation order Jimmy-lite?
  13. I'm sure you were told that by someone at some point in time, but it was nonsense then and...shockingly, it remains nonsense. You must invest a certain amount of money into American business. -You must create X number of FULL TIME jobs. Do Gas Stations generally require 10 full time workers(before you're dumb enough to try and answer yes, the answer...is in fact, no). So no, you cannot just buy a gas station and "get citizenship." So confidently stoopid.
  14. LOL...that's cute! You've equated going through a process in which you invest, start a business and THEN go through the path. Not quite the same as the wealthy just skipping the lines. "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...unless you've got 5M, then we can violate US Law and just let the rich people skip the line!" Yeah, my mistake. I do actually remember that part in there!
  15. Oh...man, I have some OUTSTANDING news for you! Sammy Sasso is alive! That's...primarily when the Death Penalty was ruled out as an option. Now to answer the strawman answer... yes. I think when they're 16-years-old at the time, I don't THINK they can, I know for a fact they can as they have. I don't think many 16-year-old kids are irredeemable...AFTER they serve their sentence(though you already have him joining a gang and I thought you said something about being dead by then. But if you don't believe in 2 Corinthians 6:2, Acts 2:38, John 3:3-7, OR 1 John 1:9...or the Bible at all, that's fine. I understand. A lot of people tout their Christian Virtues, but then, even when it's easy, they fall short...as opposed to Sasso, when it was, I'd imagine, incredibly difficult, he epitomized them.
  16. Yeah...suuure. But if I'm to understand you correctly, because he ran out the clock on his prosecution, you're saying now, as President, he doesn't need to listen to a unanimous Supreme Court decision? That...certainly is a take. I've always said, it's the right that shows the most disdain for the Constitution.
  17. And answer; No, it is not legal to sell the right to become a U.S. citizen. U.S. citizenship is granted through specific legal processes, such as birthright citizenship, naturalization, or through a parent who is a U.S. citizen. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulates the process of obtaining citizenship, and any attempt to sell citizenship rights would be considered fraudulent and illegal. Additionally, it is important to note that there are laws against human trafficking and exploitation, which would encompass the illegal sale of citizenship. While there are legal pathways for obtaining residency or citizenship through investment, such as the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, these do not involve the direct sale of citizenship but rather require substantial investment in U.S. businesses and job creation for U.S. workers. You may be confusing the speculation that Trump has done this with underage women in the past with the Diddy parties, but there's not enough evidence for that. But I would be curious where you could just jump the line by buying your way into this country.
  18. A "credible informant?" They had a men going through a line asking, "if he in a gang," and the women just said, si, si, si," without any actual credible information. They try and force kids to be part of the gang's. That's why he fled and applied for asylum. That's what the asylum process is for. Your whole, "he had family involved in gang activity," may be the dumbest argument yet. But, it's all a moot point. There was an order in place to NOT remove him, the administration violated that order and now, even the comically stacked Trump Court voted 9-0 because...you still have rights in this Country. Anyone remember how Obama was blasted for circumventing the system with EOs? Trump has now nearly passed him up and he's like 3 months into this term. Not even. And disregarding SCOTUS. -Keep in mind, they've ALSO picked up Native Americans and Puerto Rican Citizens....didn't deport, but picked them up without allowing for them the opportunity to ID themselves.
  19. They won't. Without reading this, we're just going to continue to hear how he was actually MS-13...despite MS-13 requires factial tats and things of that nature. If he was MS-13, I'd be fine with him being in that hellhole(it really is an AWFUL prison and has changed El Salvador, but they definitely got innocent people caught up). You read further into how they got "evidence" of some of these gang members and it's even more pathetic. But what I found to be the most amusing was how people think he won't just...ignore the constitution. Well, SCOTUS just told them what they were to do and they seem to be making no attempt to do so. They were told before not to remove him and it was a "mistake." But when I suggest he would try and run for a 3rd term, I was told out how outlandish that was and how nobody would stand by for that. Meanwhile we stood by for Jan6 and we rationalize it by saying, 'yeah, but if you really thought what happened was wrong, I can understand why he'd try and cling to power unconstitutionally!' Some people love that Constitution...until it's inconvenient. Then it's just kinda...whatever. Kinda like ending birthright citizenship. Or...how about people who were living in the United States illegally! I can think of one person who is not in charge of this group called D.O.G.E. He was here illegally. How about selling citizenship to the Untied States? That doesn't seem right, but I could be wrong on that one.
  20. Now that I'm in power and doing the lying...I want to crack down more on the media!
  21. Yeah, that's...just not true. I'm not sure what you were looking for, but inflation, again, is a lagging indicator. -Had Trump ACTUALLY won...instead of just saying he did and then tried to steal the election, inflation would have ballooned under him as well and I doubt he'd have handled it as well as Biden did. How exactly would you have liked him to 'curb inflation' beyond what he did?] -Raise rates? Not his call, but they did do that. -Cut taxes? Trump had done that before Covid which added more to the debt in 4 years than any President ever before him. -Energy Policies? Increase energy production? He did exactly that. -Supply Chain? We also had those issues under Trump as the result of Covid...the supply chain was fine. -He COULD have done what Nixon did. Freeze prices...and Freeze spending? Sure. You can kick the can down the road. -You could have raised taxes on the wealthy and then issues some more stimulus. You think Manchin and Sinema were supporting that(much less the GOP controlled House)? So what could he have done that he didn't do? He did create more manufacturing. He got nearly 1T in private investment. I get that was a big election talking point. It's kinda a lazy one. You want to both address the deficit AND you want to curb inflation and there's no real way to do either coming out of the losses we suffered during Covid. There's a way to raise inflation and we're doing that right now...but until I'm given an answer, a non-Nixon/Ford Freeze spending/wages and kick the can down the road solution, It's not one I put much credence in.
  22. Who...can they get Semiconductors from? Nvidia-They're lining up for basically the Ford Pinto of Semiconductors from Nvidia...which is the extent of what they're...allowed to buy while Nvidia has GPUs that are more akin to the Shelby Mustang GT500. AMD? Broadcom? Tell me, where are they getting those other semiconductors? I'm...very curious to hear?
  23. Good thing you don't make the laws.
  24. Kinda. It was more that I don't believe we should talk about executing a 16-year-old kid or write him off for the rest of his life. And that...Sasso is a bigger person than I'd be to forgive him.
  25. It's genuinely cute you don't think you are. I guess what we really need to do moving forwrad is try and look at crimes, high crimes and violating ones oath to office and ask, 'can we understand why the accused might violate his oath of office? If so, lets elect them again and watch as they do exactly what the person they ran against said they would do!' But I guess using your newfound kinda "feeling" driven approach to criminal justice and crimes rather than FACTS, the poll can mean whatever you want it to. I can understand why people would think it's alright if they believe Trump is going to go back and start up a Trade War that further devalues the dollar and hurts our economy!
