Yeah, I've had...an excess of time and irregular sleeping...so I've spent more time on here in the past week than probably the past year combined. Without...belaboring how we got into this...trade war, this week is going to be enormous when it comes to trying to stem the losses it's causing...both to the markets and then invariably to the hard numbers in the Economy. I would(and have) argued that those two Nations(Japan and South Korea) may be the two most important Nations to get a deal done for no other reason than...we NEED to isolate China. As of now, Japan, South Korea and China have discussed an alliance. China has approached India about a trade deal while there is some talk the US and the world's 5th largest economy(and among the fastest growing)The timeline given at the moment is Sept of '25 to Early 2026 to form a new trade deal with India. What COULD be a HUGE step is agreeing to the general principles of a deal and then suspending tariffs on those countries as we iron out the final deal. Trump is seemingly not willing to consider pausing these tariffs, despite GOP pressure from long time allies like Ron Johnson, Chuck Grassley or Kennedy from LA, hopefully they can move in the right direction VERY quickly and again, the outline can change his mind(and I'm guessing if the Dow drops another 1500-2000 points...which is...pretty likely at this point, that could create even more urgency. I understand the rationale behind going after China, but taking on the ENTIRE WORLD all at once was....inadvisable. It seemingly opens the door for China to step in and greatly expand their sphere of influence in the region... That's awesome...the Marathon. I USED to love to run. When I was coming out of Football, I'd decide I was going to run for a whole game. Football or Basketball(yes, I was a fan) but at a nice slow pace and on a treadmill....NOTHING close to a Marathon, even on a treadmill, but I loved doing it. I'm working on getting back into it, but the knees have aren't exactly in pristine shape and one hip needs a new surface, but I still know NOTHING makes you feel better, even when it sucks, then getting back out there. I do feel like the more you do it, your legs actually feel better. Though, at this point, I haven't ran 10-15 if you combine the last 5 times I went for a run. Usually just two miles and I am dealing with severe oxygen deprivation syndrome. I was also a fellow 120 4th grader. 140 in 5th grade. I thought I was gonna be 6'4-6'5...I ended up growing growing maybe half an inch from there on(and again, the FB dreams were dashed). Good luck with the Marathon. I hope you'll update us.

The ONLY Country of consequence at the moment where I feel confident in saying there is a disdain for leadership that would embrace a chance would be Iran. That...would be a dream come true. Iran during the 'White Revolution,' I believe it was called, they listened to the Music of the West, women were free, it looked beautiful, peaceful and prosperous. In retrospect, the Iraq War was probably the worst thing we could have done(don't think that's unpopular). But China is so much better at both propaganda and silencing dissent that... ONE study I've seen shows that when Chinese people are polled...over 90% express that the Govt does what's best for it's people and when it's anonymous, that drops between 50% and 70%(but imagine being asked in China and saying, "we promise, we won't tell anyone what YOU said)...so I FEEL like it's probably a safe bet that number is substantively lower. The one...ONE area that really helps China is they are on a path and they do not deviate from it. They operate on their 500 year plan, so I think there's urgency to get a deal like this done, btu the people don't have a voice to pressure their leadership.
