Eggum (more so Brandvold) have almost been hitting Wisconsin harder on the recruiting trail than they have been Minnesota. They took in some of the lower ranked AWA kids years prior like Jager Eisch, seemingly to build a base and get an in with the club. Coincidentally, Eisch has gotten pretty good. But I would’ve considered both winnable even before Blockhus’s recent run. At this point, he’s gotta be considered a favorite to be a top 2 seed at big tens.
