    I am of the opinion that especially in todays current NIL/transfer climate, high level recruits such as Fugitt and Seltzer do not even want to consider wrestling less than 4 NCAA tournaments in their careers. Fugitt has a wide open path to that at Wisconsin. I’m also shocked Arizona State was able to keep Richie Figueroa on the team beyond his redshirt year for this reason.     AWA guy from Wisconsin, Willie has him ranked in the low 100’s in his class of 2023 big board. Committed to Minnesota in August of 2022 and has really kinda taken off since then.     I hope people aren’t down on the Obe hire. As an Alum, who had a sibling wrestle for Kish, I am certainly happy with the hire. I think people aren’t used to the “open season” mentality that comes with D1 coaching changes at this stage in the game. If a coach leaves for a bigger job, the poachers will surely come out.     They’ve already got that taste. With Hopke being as high profile as he is already, I think if Cael wanted him he’d have him. Nagao different story. He was ranked in the 80’s as a recruit and came on as a surprise. Then Cael wanted him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Replacing Aaron Brooks and Carter Starocci with Josh Barr and Zak Ryder shouldn’t give anyone else any hope. They’ll be nails right away. Van Ness/Haines/Facundo/Messenbrink have a lot of years left. I don’t think they have a great replacement for Kerkvliet lined up though so that’s cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Man, idk about Amos at heavyweight. He’s going to be smaller than most and there’s already 6 returning that I would give him an almost 0% chance of beating (Kerk, Cass, Davison, Schultz, Hendrickson, and Elam) but I struggle seeing him beat the Seth Nevills and Slavikouski’s of the world too.     Didn’t Zargo just go 0-2 at 141? You must see something in him I don’t, which is fine. I struggle to see Wisconsin jumping from 16th to top 10 after losing Gomez and Hillger, and their most significant addition is a D3 transfer. Isn’t Model out of eligibility as well?
