  1. Yeah makes sense. Interesting that both he and Vito were 7th year seniors...
  2. It seems likely. Funny, he was a Cornell coach. Also amusing is that Vito did the same number of years, and could have even done one more. I guess Vito "got a life" and Kem didn't.
  3. The electoral college is impacted by numbers of residents in each state: citizens and non-citizens. the census does not distinguish between legal and illegal residents in their count.
  4. Very difficult to legislate the "dropping to a knee is stalling" thing, especially in NCAA/NFHS rules.
  5. Is this a lot different than: 2018 FR RTC 2019 FR St 2020 SO RTC (redshirt) 2021 SO St 2022 SO St 2023 JR St 2024 SR St ?
  6. NCAA all-American/resident athlete. And I believe they did use the word "spouse," but I haven't seen any proof of marriage. Maybe to make her look worse. I would love for her to legally go after Minnow, but not sure that he has crossed the line just yet.
  7. I like Koll. I liked him as an athlete and I like what he has done as a coach. He's a good interview and has some great ideas. I don't blame him for doing the stuff he does. and did. I have no problem with greyshirting. I wasn't taking a swing at Cornell. What I do have a problem with is him judging who were legally using their eligibility. I think he said "Get a life?" But he was just about to roll out 24 year old AJ Ferrari, and I'm pretty sure if he stayed at Cornell he would have been fine with 24 year old Vito. I'm not personally offended. Just not a fan of the hypocrisy.
  8. My apologies... you posted the same joke twice on the same thread. I guess you can probably try again tomorrow. Love how the supposed PSU fans are drawn to any thread about Iowa wrestlers or recruits. You guys are great, you're on top! Enjoy the feeling!
  9. And he's posted it on multiple threads! A regular Bob Hope!
  10. Also complained about guys going to college longer than four years. I think he said "get a life." Meanwhile, pretty much pioneered the greyshirt in wrestling and will gladly take 6th year guys now if he can get them.
  11. * Sorry cowCards. Was typing with an injured finger and an unfamiliar keyboard while also being distracted. My apologies!
  12. Not necessarily. Our friends at Cornell Law weigh in: https://www.law.cornell.edu/definitions/uscode.php?width=840&height=800&iframe=true&def_id=34-USC-2126574678-506818815&term_occur=999&term_src=title:34:subtitle:I:chapter:101:subchapter:XI:part:A:section:10281
  13. I think cowards hit on this, but: top 3 is national team, but they made top 4 qualifiers for U23 this year. (and perhaps in the past)
  14. It really is impressive. I can't remember who I heard recently talk about "PSU training methods," but it was one of their recent stars. Maybe Lilledahl? Whomever it was was talking about how much live they do and how hard they go, which surprised the interviewer. The wrestler then added something to the effect of :"Yeah, we go hard."
  15. Bro... I like you. I like the Brands as athletes and have enjoyed my interactions with them when they coached. I liked the Iowa teams of a few years ago, and they are still one of my favorite teams. I am an NC State fan and booster. PSU is an amazing dynasty, with some of my favorite wrestlers to watch in recent years. Their fans are some of the worst. (well... some of them are) Absolute hypocrites. I enjoy needling them a bit. Can you please just let me have my fun? (You didn't need to write a book that will go unread btw)
  16. Apparently you don't remember Taylor's destroyed knee at BTS? And I didn't bring up "pre-existing injuries", I believe you did. My point was always just that "PSU guys get hurt too," even though the fans like to pretend they don't.
  17. The point is how PSU guys don't get injured, but they actually do. I will give them a ton of credit for really wrestling well when injured, but they do get hurt... quite a bit. And "pre-existing injuries" have never been an acceptable excuse for Lee.
  18. Let's not forget: Injury prevention with guest lecturers Anthony Cassar, Kyle Conel, Aaron Nagao, Jason Nolf, David Taylor, Alex Facundo, Nick Suriano, Greg Kerkvliet, RBY, and Aaron Brooks. Reading materials will include a couple pages from Caels log about all the drills they do in practice that keep guys from getting hurt and getting significant injuries.
  19. Especially if you signed with Iowa

  22. Only if the 19 year old displaying poor sportsmanship is headed to PSU.
  23. Another member, who seems to have a pretty good knowledge of recruiting and the Oklahoma circuit said Koll wasn't extremely excited about AJ related headaches, but the big money donors wanted him.
