  1. Because he is working with their athletes and he is suspended by a drug testing organization? Granted the PSU athletic department does have a history of looking the other way, but I would think that would make them extra vigilant.
  2. I do wonder if PSU administrators are aware or even care that a coach/mentor with an association to their athletes is currently serving a USADA suspension. No, NLWC isn't officially a PSU thing, but PSU coaches are on the staff and are NLWC athletes. The NLWC coaches/athletes work with the PSU kids. Etc. Etc. There is a lot of grey area, and I have to wonder what admin would think about Gilman?
  3. I don't recall saying it was. I'm just using it as a sign that he wasn't retired.
  4. Which Iowa starters would not make PSU's 30 man roster?
  5. ... not to mention Gilman had a freestyle match against a Cuban on the ISU roster.
  6. Ummm... guys use PEDs all the time and test negative. The chance isn't 0% though, especially when you are dealing with extreme fluid loss, I'd imagine. The only time a user is 100% sure that he won't test positive is when he doesn't take the test.
  7. I mean, if I used PEDs and still didn't make the Olympic team, I would definitely avoid the testers over the coming year. And I'd have an alibi or two: " I had retired;" "I was in IDGAF mode" and my legacy would probably be ok. Imagine the stigma of losing and then testing positive? Not to mention, he's a really bad role model for those boys at NLWC. Also: loved how : Gilman has changed... "he got away from Iowa and turned over a new leaf " instantly turned into "he's a weird dude, cut right out of the TnT mold."
  8. I'm happy that you learned something!
  9. Is that why they are your heroes? And you actually believe them?
  10. Leon Klinghofer begs to differ. 1972 Israeli athletes beg to differ.
  11. Not if legislation, executive orders, pardons, etc. were being signed by autopen!
  12. Joined Tuesday. One post. "Without facts or proof you shouldn’t throw someone under the bus let alone their son without knowing them."
  13. You literally put "genocide" in quotes above, meaning that he literally used that term. And you call me stupid?
  14. Netanyahu and Smotrich had to calm their supporters after letting a limited number of food trucks into Gaza by explicitly telling them "if we don't make these small symbolic gestures, the West will make us stop the genocide and we won't get Gaza." Those words were not spoken
  15. They actually revelled in the massacres, the torture, and the sex crimes.
  16. How many of your family members have been killed by terrorists? The point is, Netanyahu's answer is not "zero," so maybe that might give you a little insight into how he thinks.
  17. Maybe Cael has a doghouse?
  18. Actually, with the right bracketing (or if someone sits out), I can see him as a bronze.
  19. Are you suggesting that he could win 2026 Worlds if he moved to Stillwater? I'd be super happy with a medal at this point. I just don't see either happening in a full field.
  20. Yesterday you said "every life matters." This was said to include WW2 Germans, Now you want Israelis dead. Hmmm. What is the difference between Israelis and WW2 Germans?
  21. In the past, certain individuals were able to delay the challenge match if they had a verified injury. In the past, I think you had to be a defending World/Olympic medalist. (Dake did this with Dieringer; I watched Gutches vs Burton at Fargo) Today, I am not sure of the rules, but they are probably similar. I don't think Snyder would qualify for a delay after not medaling last year, but he doesn't need a delay anyway after the recent reinstatement. And I guess this isn't what you asked, anyway. I just re-read your question. I am not sure of that procedure, but it is too late at this point. My guess is the only way the open runner-up makes Final X is in the case of a drug suspension, which would bump everyone from the open up a place.
  22. "the wingers" "the republicans" "the trumptards" hypocrite.
  23. No. Snyder won the open. He gets the final x spot. That is what the procedures say. Snyder didn't get DQed from his US Open placement, which would have given Aiello some standing. Snyder would be voluntarily forfeiting, and it would be next man up. HZ earned that distinction last weekend.
