  1. How does he compare?
  2. Excellent word usage.
  3. There are those still that would guarantee im pulling AA honors this year. I would root for him.
  4. In any case, it does appear that Ghasmpour, Sadulaev and Taylor will all be randomly drawn in.
  5. Additional 16-25 since I don't know if four of the above are even 'in' for Worlds...
  6. I imagine it will be Top 4 from these rankings with the rest randomly drawn in.
  7. I don't think you'll find a single soul on these forums that believes otherwise.
  8. I don't put him in that top tier at all for 157. I put him behind Kellar.
  9. I am sure a better mind (ahem @Wrestleknownothing) might already have the data, but there aren't (m)any people who improve after their 5th year (6th/7th/8th). Parco lost to four younger wrestlers last year in SVN, Whalen, Watters, and Henson as well as a guy he had beaten previously in Gomez. That said, even if SVN was the same wrestler, or slightly more rusty, I don't think Parco is beating him.
  10. What about the Parco = SVN when SVN soundly beat him last year?
  11. Them extending him, to me, was like a vindictive slap to the face of Askren. "Oh... you don't want to be our coach? Trying to sell us Askren-Lite instead of you? NO phuk us phuk yoooooouuuuuu." **EXTENDS TURDBISCUIT**
  12. Last year there were rumblings prior to Robb getting his release to actually go, that this was going to be the lineup, sans Allred. That is the only one that suprirses me, but McDaniels is a guy you try to get in the lineup ASAP.
  13. I agree on the noise. He could be an Amos type situation like Wiscy with Hillger or Trumble at NC State. Just too big for that weight.
  14. Then you have him and Attao there. You'll be familiar with Attao after this next year.
  15. You're also talking two entirely different mentalities of 'Illinois' there. Micic is Chicago through and through whereas Medlin most definitely is not.
  16. Where is the rest of this, my man.
  17. It will. He will be the first ever to not only get five titles, but also a sixth later that day. He will be petitioning to compete in both weights. The NCAA will start at 197 and end at 184 for the Finals and he will win both. He will get 50 team points.
  18. And if you add Tanner Hall to that squad, the average age still increases...
  19. Everyone is dinged up, not everyone is injured. He was injured and on one leg. He went Boss Level for his fourth natty. Another way to say what you said... - Earned revenge on a guy that beat him at B1Gs (HAHA!) - Beat probably the fastest/most athletic 174lber in the nation in Kemp - Shut out 2x finalist and former national champion - Shut out a 2nd former national champion - Out-ground and shut out a true frosh that had the tournament of his life. Have you performed as well as any of that? I am sure you have won multiple national titles, B1G titles, etc. I am sure you would have done better one one leg last year than he did. No he wasn't. He was clearly out of shape and had botched a weight descent/cut to 163lbs less than two weeks prior (word is that he was within two pounds and was forced to stop by the medical staff - so in <two weeks went from 165 to 189lbs). It is the OTT and being on the team was a dream of his since he was four. You don't make any excuses to not go. You go.
  20. Ah, I thought you did since they created the thread.
  21. FIFY Also, I think he is still there and working off a medical. He'll take over the spot for a year or three after Schultzy is gone.
  22. @Le duke is not a Flo Bro.
  23. He should have a fair amount of length on Byrd. Byrd has typically owned Ragusin, but the matches have been dogfights, so he knows how to handle length. Can he handle the length and athleticism, though? Now, he isn't NC State's Tariq Wilson, but he could pose some problems with superior length and athleticism for everyone at 133lbs, providing the cut doesn't cost him an arm and/or leg.
  24. If you want to cite total bonus matches, you should take in to consideration that Pinfalls garner more points, so a points per gained per match should be apt. Now if you do a total points scored at Nationals, you're going to see that it will be him first, because he is going to have five NCAA titles worth of points. All of it is analysis on what you want to put weight on, so opinion definitely does matter for 'what matters more' when looking at them. For me, when he went Boss Level on last year's field, while wrestling on one leg, that is quite possibly one of the best performances we have ever seen. Also, add in that the year prior when he wasn't injured, he did score the most points out of everyone included. To me, it makes logical sense to give him the benefit of the doubt for last year, and that doesn't even take in to consideration the gauntlet of prior national champions that he had to trudge through.
