His dad is huge and he wrestled 170/175 all of this year. Last year it was 'understood' that he was likely a 'One and Done' at 157 his frosh season. I think Penn State has better things going for them than OSU did with Marsteller when they had him go 170 to 157... I just don't know if I like it. Duke was more active at WTT late last year, than he was at the WTT this year (after wrestling 170-175 all high school season). Mind you, I understand that is an opinion.

I know. The guy is clearly clueless. Can't stand by and watch it unfold like that.
-
I know, but a straight up bet is nonsense. You know that.
-
Why not 2025-26 157 Kasak 165 Monster Mitch 174 Haines Duke takes over 174 after a RS.
-
You don't read good.
-
This seems like an unfair bet, and you know it. Josh Barr the NCAA runner-up at 197lbs this year gave up a riding time point. If he bets $20, you should be putting $200 on the line.
-
It could, yes. Not that he is worried about that right now. As you said, it most certainly wouldn't matter. As much, or easy as it is to say 'Aiello should' the other side of that is 'Zillmer did' earn his Final X bid.
-
I never said I did. I said it was a great opportunity for Snyder to do something good. Also, that Aiello should be doing something to put a waiver or something in. If Snyder knows he isn't going, doing good should be a huge priority for him. Do I think any of it makes sense, or matters? Nope.
-
Eh, that was a little different. DT hid it even from his own team until it was too late to do anything except annoint Blue Dragons Jr. Snyder could proactively be very generous here.
-
If he knows he will not, he needs to do the right thing and try to advocate for Aiello getting a shot at Final X. I know Zillmer beat Aiello, but Aiello was the Runner-up at the Open, which would have made him the highest placer. Aiello also beat the 3rd placer at the Open at the Open and the 3rd placer at WTT at WTT, so it is almost a no-brainer.

hahahahahaha OP said 'In or out' in regards to Kyle Snyder and his status after the hooker bust.

What I think is likely for matches going the Best of Three route, with the most likely at the top and least likely at the bottom. 86 KG 65 KG 92 KG 61 KG 70 KG 57 KG 79 KG 74 KG 125 KG 97 KG

There are many ways to look at how a match order should go... - Aura/Prestige - Poundage - Potential Excitement - Actual Excitement - Points scored - Theoretical Drama - Actual Drama Generally speaking Aura/Prestige is the criteria that will be looked at the most for match order. There is no other option than Valencia - Dake at 86 KG, in that regards. There just isn't. - There are exceptions such as the POTUS intending to swoop in after the first match. After that, Poundage is generally the one most used, because it has typically always been that way. That puts us at Captain America Jr - Hilger at 125 KG as the final match. I am oddly okay with it being this way. I don't think it would be the final match of the day. I still think that 86 KG will be the final match of the day, as the most likely scenario due to it being Best of Three (92 KG has a decent chance as well). If we are talking Potential Excitement, we're looking at ending on Johnny D - Duke at 70 KG. You have Brute Force Youth against the scrambling ability of Johnny D, who is up at 70 KG for only the second time ever (the first being the Open). Duke, a HS Senior just beat the 149lb and 157lb NCAA Champions at WTT. That's fckn nuts, guys. If we are talking Actual Excitement, we're looking at Mesenbrink-Carr at 74 KG, despite it being a blow-out (expected by me), their matches are always fire. If we are talking about Points Scored, I don't see a way we don't end at Vito - Jax at 61 KG. This has 25.5 as a total match points Vegas line per match (I might have made that up). If you were to look at Theoretical Drama, then Thiccclay-Barr at 92 KG should be the final match. Barr has made a living this season on breaking people. Thiccclay is unbreakable. What if during Match 2, Thiccclay fades and Barr steals it? That makes Match 3 EXTREMELY interesting. Historically speaking there has been hours between Match 1 and Match 2, but they start the Match 3s immediately after the Match 2s complete. If we are talking about Snyder... I mean Actual Drama, then it's Snyder - ZIllmer at 97 KG.

Autocorrect got 'em.

He was in no way, shape, or form stolen. Michigan tried recruiting another wrestler over him. He went on, bumped up, destroyed him, then yelled in to the camera on the way off the mat his recruitment was back open. He wanted to go the Mason Parris route. What better place to do that then at Michigan? They (Michigan) fckd up bad on that one.

Cannon's concussion issues make me think 141, as well. People with concussion issues have cardio issues as well, which exacerabate as you cut weight.
-
I only disagree with Haines-Wick. Haines is bigger, more filled out for 79 KG than he was last year and he destroyed Wick.
-
Army has a massive 2026 recruiting class. A bunch of Top 100s, which is huge for a program like Army.
-
If Snyder doesn't show, Zilmer is the heaviest favorite.
-
If Snyder shows, he is the heaviest favorite.

I stand by my last reply that I would take the under as well, FWIW. That said, Pindrickson wrestled both of them at WTT and one of them ended early and the other did not.
-
I would also take the under. That doesn't change that this is a far better matchup for Hilger than it is Thomas.
-
He can match tthe athleticism, for sure. I am far more interested in this match rather than Big Meech. Just not a good matchup for him.
-
@BruceyB Yeah I think what reinforces the 4 is that Barr was never on his butt. He was on his feet defending that takedown the entire time.

Put your cape on, bud. Just saved me having to go back, Hero.
