  1. Getting a gun pointed at you for taking a picture of a license plate. But hey, at least he was wearing his police vest
  2. Crazy that conservative social media trolls are STILL trying to imply Boelter was a Democrat…
  3. I don’t believe there is any indication that his crimes are why he committed suicide though. I just read an article saying the investigation found it may have been due to “pain problems”
  4. @Husker_Du, I’m no business lawyer but are you all allowed to use the Iowa State, UNI, B1G logos etc in your marketing?
  5. Wait, RAF signed both Beau Bartlett and Will Lewan? That’s…interesting https://www.realamericanfreestyle.com/#events
  6. Here was another that was going around the conservative circles
  7. My understanding is that technically they do only need an “administrative warrant,” but apparently that’s just something ICE creates.
  8. Seems to me it only got “dangerous” because they didn’t show the warrant.
  9. Did they inform him of the offense charged?
  10. I was talking about the guy in the backwards hat. Just saying this is one of many examples of masked ICE agents in street clothes, but at least in that one they didn’t all fit that description. There are other videos where none of the officers have anything that identifies them as law enforcement though.
  11. lol I’m not sure how you could determine any of those guys was the “lead” in that clusterF. But one of the guys holding onto Lander as they brought him into the elevator was wearing street clothes and a mask
  12. Yes, the Trump admin ultimately complied. I agree he is not a dictator. But those who said they didn’t have to try to get him back, like Stephen Miller, were wrong. The Brad Lander video is just one of many examples of masked & non-uniformed ICE agents.
  13. Uh, them bringing back Abrego Garcia proved everyone right that said they needed to try to get him back (and that if they did actually try, it would be easy to succeed)… I’m still a bit confused by your earlier comment though…are you doubting that masked ICE agents in street clothes are arresting folks?
  14. Yeah I can forgive the masks if they were at least wearing uniforms and badges (although I guess that didn’t help the victims in Minnesota). If what is happening? ICE arresting people while wearing masks and street clothes? The Brad Lander video is one of example of this happening (although it appeared not all of them were).
  15. So has Hellickson never said much more? I am curious how much Jordan may have been involved in his silence. To be fair, if Jordan said something like “if you admit you knew then you’re going down too,” which probably wouldn’t be wrong. Edit: But it was sad how multiple guys felt Hellickson in particular was a father figure to him and then felt betrayed
  16. Thanks for the context. It does look like the first thing she says is “trash,” which I think most would agree typically refers to a ref’s call. So the logical conclusion would be that what followed was probably also about the call.
  17. Can we admit Clark or her teammates aren’t innocent in some of this stuff? Looks like today’s game was mostly white on white crime. Not sure what part of the game this happened, but speaking of lip reading, and no I’m not sure if this is accurate… This eye poke did look dirty: But I think Clark either tripped because of her eye, or took a dive here: Then Sophie Cunningham retaliates with the illegal headlock (I do think the contrast of folks celebrating this vs how they react if someone fouls Clark is interesting):
  18. Just watched. (spoiler) I wouldn’t say it was “very political.” Politics weren’t mentioned until the last 25 minutes or so, and only about Jordan, I don’t think there was anything about the “GOP in general.” Towards the end was definitely anti-Jordan, but it was based on the stories of the multiple wrestlers (and referee) that were interviewed. They said Hellickson had told them he would support them, but then ghosted them, and they blamed Jordan for that, since they said Jordan also called them asking them to publicly support himself. But I think the bigger “hit piece” was more against Ohio State, rightfully so. Jordan was of course also mentioned earlier in the doc, but usually in conjunction with Hellickson. There was definitely the implication earlier on that they blew off allegations at the time. Which then was contrasted to the female fencing coach actually making complaints. One thing I don’t recall reading about previously was the steroid allegations. I thought the story of Dan Ritchie, as well as the hockey player were particularly sad.
  19. So why did you start this thread and ask it as a question?
  20. Cool, how much do you charge for your professional lip reading services?
  21. Except for this comment to make sense, we’d need to know for sure if Griner said what you think. We don’t.
