  1. I’m sure being a whackjob is why he made the decision to try to kill someone because of the death of his friend. But I think being a Christian was a factor in his decision on who he tried to kill…
  2. How ironic that this whole Bo Bachelor situation might end up being decided because the school that gets him might have wanted Miller more.
  3. No clue about his politics, but it does seem his Christianity was likely a factor. Looks like he was religious but was not happy with how that particular church was operating for some reason.
  4. The clear implication from the OP was that churches in general are being targeted. Looks like the motive for this one was likely specific to this guy blaming that particular church for his friend’s death.
  5. Minnow blaming it on Tom Brands
  6. Well as far as #1, what changed since he committed? A booster made some comments? That should be pretty far down the list of things he should care about IMO, especially since it’s not like the comments were racially-charged or something (which, btw a sponsor of tons of PSU/NLWC guys has been - https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/6749780-racially-divisive-post-leads-to-scraplife-shake-up) The reasons he said he committed to Iowa in the first place are all still there: tradition and the fact that he was a fan growing up, passionate fanbase (heck Bob’s comments probably even show that), Tom & Terry, plenty of Jesus-trained guys there too, and gets to train with Spencer Lee. Maybe teams were trashing Iowa/HWC because of Woods’s success after leaving and that HWC is nothing but Spencer? Even still, Spencer was our best guy at the Olympics… I’m speculating, but my guess is something with the money changed. Either something happened with his Iowa offer, or another school upped their offer. Based on Melvin’s comments, I’d lean towards it being something happened with the Iowa offer. If that’s true (and again, just speculating), that would make the “God told me…” comment a little silly. But hopefully we find out some more details to know for sure. I’m not really expecting to though.
  7. I think the point is he already “did his thing.” Started out with 70 schools or whatever and “wanted to take his time.” And now he’s changing his mind before he even starts his senior year of high school. I defended him before, but this isn’t really a great look IMO, unless something happened behind the scenes that we don’t know about. One of my main questions is…how exaggerated was the $5 million claims that were out there? And if they weren’t that exaggerated, how close is another school getting to that number?
  8. Yeah just read it. @VakAttack my first thought was something similar to what you posted in there. Seems weird that he’d say “I’ll never say a bad word about Iowa” immediately after saying Iowa “didn’t fit his wrestling and faith journey.” Given NLWC’s preference for prostitutes, I’m thinking they probably don’t fit his faith journey either. OSU It is
  9. I haven’t seen it, but Basch and Willie discussed slumlord Bob making a post on HR or whatever it’s called these days saying something to the effect of “Jordan Williams and Gabe Arnold need to figure it out.” No idea if that’s the reason. Is it possible he pulled the offer?
  10. Kyle Snyder really moving down the list of hypocrite Christians this past week
  11. Shooter was a white male that quoted bible verses
  12. He didn’t say he thought they would be banned, he just said he thought they wouldn’t show up
  13. I’m just glad we have this guy in a key counter-terrorism role. Meritocracy, baby https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/article/maga-loyalist-22-gets-big-dhs-counter-terror-job-20363900.php
  14. @Husker_Du had an interesting take on the Basch podcast. It was mostly about Jordan, but he said he hadn’t watched it yet so hopefully we get a more in depth take after he does. He said Jordan was “probably guilty of lying about knowing about some of the allegations,” but that he shouldn’t be being blamed, and if he wasn’t a big name politician no one would care about his role. I 100% agree, and on a national non-wrestling level there were some folks that seemed like they tried to do that. But within the wrestling world, and basically what the victims from the documentary said, was that they were more just upset about him denying even knowing about it.
  15. @Husker_Du…is RAF saving Cleveland State? That’s got to be the only reason they’d hold their event at CSU’s arena, right?
  16. Here is Amy’s post from yesterday. I don’t really take it as “asking.” Seems like a lot of people have told her they want to help so she’s just giving them a way to do it. “I've had a lot of people ask how they can support Ben right now-Praying means so much to us, and I'm thankful for receiving just that. but our friends have set up a couple other ways. Rudis has created a t shirt with profits going toward Ben's medical bills/transplant fund, and a local AWA dad made a shirt that will go to supporting high level athletes training at AWA (a cause Ben was going to devote time to fundraising for soon).”
  17. I wasn’t referring to only on this forum
  18. If I pull up examples of @El Luchador “saying” the things I mentioned above, will you quote the time and date that I said it more than twice that were not in direct response to someone that did say it?
  19. @El Luchador believed at least 2 of those I believe (and may have said he worked for Walz), IIRC.
  20. I think I said it like twice. But some did say that. No need to yell
  21. They also said his wife interned for Walz They also said both politicians he shot voted with Republicans They also believed a photo at a Democrat rally that was taken after the murders was actually Boelter Take your pick…
  22. Do you think this xpost from a conservative poster with over 300k followers is a threat?
  23. Oh man, read the comments…I think it’s safe to say X leans right now
