  1. Agree with cutting stuff like that, but I don’t think your question is so cut and dry. IMO you’d also need to take into consideration whether things got cut that shouldn’t have been or ended up having a bigger negative impact. One possible example: https://apnews.com/article/veterans-affairs-cuts-doge-musk-trump-f587a6bc3db6a460e9c357592e165712
  2. I never said there were no trans mice and agree there should have never been any that were funded by the government. Just pointing out the correct amount. I also could do without the White House calling people losers, but maybe that’s just me.
  3. I guess this could be an instance where Cornell’s TC3 loophole comes in handy if he hasn’t even been admitted yet, then they can wait a year for the situation to die down
  4. Well it better not be, because this is only 122
  5. And who decides if any cards are “unneeded”? They also apparently paused the use of nearly all cards, which I’m sure caused a major disruption to job efficiency
  6. I think the fact that one of the best examples you could find is a blog post by “Bobby from the Bronx” is proof that this wasn’t a claim that was repeated “over and over”
  7. Also, this post contains a blatant lie by claiming the delay was for political reasons. Which is pretty common for “amuse” Here is the link that the original post (which also lied) provided as a source: https://arstechnica.com/space/2025/03/butch-and-suni-send-mixed-messages-on-whether-politics-delayed-their-return/ Q. Did politics influence NASA's decision for you to stay longer in space? Wilmore: From my standpoint, politics is not playing into this at all. Q. Elon Musk said he made an offer to bring Butch and Suni home last year, but it was denied by the White House. Is this true? Wilmore: I can only say that Mr. Musk, what he says, is absolutely factual. We have no information on that, though, whatsoever; what was offered, what was not offered; who it was offered to, how that process went. That's information that we simply don't have. So I believe him. I don't know all those details, and I don't think any of us really can give you the answer that maybe that you would be hoping for.
  8. It appears they spent about $5 million on transgender mice studies, which I am good with cancelling. The largest on the list for $3 million had a brief mention of trans folks but that wasn’t the purpose of the study. Also lol at an official White House document calling CNN “fake news losers” https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/03/yes-biden-spent-millions-on-transgender-animal-experiments/
  9. Who’s the best president ever? Elon Musk? There is no mention of Trump in this post
  10. AJ Ferrari the most egregious example of not being punished by getting the 1. Ethen Miller in line for the 1. Closest I can think of is Teemer being penalized for missing an extended period of time due to injury (and maybe the coaches felt OK with putting him at 4 with Miller as the 1). But overall it appears that sitting out matches was rewarded in seeding.
  11. They originally stated that they accepted the suspension. Haven’t seen if they’ve commented since the lawsuit
  12. 125 3 133 3 141 10 149 12 157 12 165 24 174 17 184 18 197 9 285 17 Even with this doomsday scenario, they are still looking at around 125 points and a likely championship
  13. Why would Stanford’s AD being on the way out be a bad thing? Isn’t he the one that tried to cut wrestling and the other sports? Also UNC has Bill Belichick now, I imagine they’ll draw some good audiences. I am surprised football accounts for that much more revenue than basketball though.
  14. It changed recently, maybe between 5-10 years ago. It used to be more geographically based and not really sure why they switched it up. It honestly may have had to do with splitting the Private schools up more
  15. Yes, but with the suspension I could certainly see the police thinking something like “he’s missing out on his 4th state title, that is probably enough punishment.” But instead he seems to be taking the stance that he doesn’t regret what he did.
  16. I wonder if he wouldn’t have gotten charged if he had accepted the suspension…
  17. No, it was a real question. Whether Biden blamed Trump for inflation is irrelevant to if you would blame Biden for a recession.
  18. Why’d they put both of the “victims” of trans idealogy on both sides of Usha Vance?
  19. He still thinks that 300 year olds are getting social security checks…
  20. NPR reported that the document was dated to have changed to $400 million in December, but did not appear in the Internet archive for that month. https://www.npr.org/2025/02/24/nx-s1-5305269/tesla-state-department-elon-musk-trump Technically, the x post I shared earlier is incorrect as the contract has not been cancelled, they just changed the name so they don’t give away who’s going to win the contract. I just thought it was funny that that would be the largest savings from DOGE.
