Also, this isn’t actually GMA, it’s “GMA First Look,” which apparently is on at like 4AM. And the hosts didn’t really provide an opinion, they just interviewed some college professor that complained about it. @JimmySpeaks, can you share a link to it being on the Today show? I searched and can’t find it, although apparently there was an article (I was today years old when I learned the Today Show even had a website with articles).

Thanks for the YT link and mat assignments @okokzach! Turner won 3-2 against someone from Ukraine Vito against Dzhelep of Ukraine. Vito opened it up with a nice takedown about a minute in. Then gave up 4 after being in deep on a shot and kinda got pancaked. In the second he got another takedown and they gave him 4 for feet to back which I thought the exposure was questionable, Ukraine challenged but they kept it, so 7-4. Then Ukraine got a takedown, 7-6. Another TD for Vito, 9-6 and that was the final. This match started at about 1:34 in the mat 2 video I think

But no particular research that you can think of that you think would be worth reading? I am capable of changing my mind. In fact diet soda was something I’ve even changed my mind on previously. I used to think it was just as bad if not worse than regular soda. But there are several studies showing that’s not the case. Sure seems like whatever harm is in the “chemicals” in diet soda, the ~40g of sugar and ~140 empty calories in soda are probably worse

Meh, I’d still say swapping sugar for HFCS, or frying French fries in beef tallow, or removing dyes from ice cream, really doesn’t do much to “MAHA.”

I didn’t say you said it. But people have, like the Ice Cream guy in the OP. Even RFK claimed “MAHA is winning” when announcing Steak and Shake will be frying their fries in beef tallow. That’s going to make pretty much no difference in getting people healthier. What MAHA should probably be focusing on is doing more to encourage people to eat less, and exercise more.
