  1. Interesting, unless the 3 unlisted are Ag school then I guess I’m wrong. Side note, I did not realize that Shapiro was from Maryland originally. Not big in number, but Maryland has been producing some studs recently
  2. I’d venture a guess that the starting lineup has a higher % in the Ag school and a lower % in engineering. What is ILR?
  3. I’m also not knocking any of those “easy” majors as I had one of them as mine as well. I honestly never really thought Psych was considered “easy” though, just that it was pointless unless you get an advanced degree. Maybe it’s the easiest at Stanford though, I saw both Woods and Abas were psych majors.
  4. Sorry, “Wildlife and Fisheries Science.” https://agsci.psu.edu/academics/undergraduate/majors/wildlife-and-fisheries-science
  5. I believe Haines said he was “Fish and Wildlife management” which may be part of that
  6. Taking a quick look at wrestlestat, it looks like Chayse Lajoie did, albeit he was grayshirting. Dom did as well but I believe that was a grad transfer so I won’t count that one.
  7. Goodale was a high school coach also. Does August Wesley count?
  8. Wow Iowa fans really are special. In the Kueter thread one guy is comparing him to Kyle Snyder, and another guy thinks that because Assad redshirted in 2021 that means he still gets to use the free year.
  9. Isn’t that exactly what Leistikow’s tweet said though and that it was a “change of plans”? So nothing changed except that he might start?
  10. He didn’t, that’s why I said I didn’t know what his plan was/is and why it was just a theory from Iowa fans.
  11. I have no idea what his plan was/is, but I believe the theory was he could wrestle 197 this season while redshirting for football, then bump up to heavyweight next year when Cassioppi graduated.
  12. Does this count as official acknowledgement of Cassioppi's suspension?
  13. Yeah but IMO that’s more of an issue with their skirting of the Ivy redshirt rule not the RTC system
  14. Yeah that’s the one I already acknowledged they were skirting… Do most of them take less than 12 credits? I thought part of the idea behind the community college thing was to help get them admitted to Cornell and I would think taking less than 12 wouldn’t really help that
  15. Meh, I’m not sure if he’s doing much different than most other coaches there.
  16. Thanks, although #3 wasn’t really a yes or no question. I have knocked Koll’s skirting of the Ivy League redshirt rule, and I guess by extension the “rules” of getting admitted to Cornell, but what other rules does he “violate the spirit” of?
  17. Cool video, thanks for sharing. How many matches did he say he wrestled in 3 years?
  18. Without knowing who the coach will be I could see Stanford or Princeton guys going to to Cornell or Penn and getting similar academics (sans the Cornell Ag school). Although I can’t remember the rules for transferring into Ivies… Agree that I don’t see why anyone would leave UNC, unless maybe they were really close with Scott. I also wouldn’t be shocked to see Stanford guys follow Koll to UNC. Despite the lesser academic pedigree I know Koll talks a lot about helping to get guys jobs which is really all that matters
  19. I’m confused by this post on multiple levels. Are you referring to Koll with the “shooting for 10-15 range and violating the spirit of every rule in the book”? Are you calling the Brands “younger”? Are you saying Tom Brands is or isn’t HC material?
  20. Hahn went to HS in NJ about an hour from Princeton. Although Lakewood and Princeton are basically different planets
  21. So is it safe to say Espo "bailed" on OSU too? Because when Terry left UTC it was to coach at the OTC. The year he left UTC they finished 21st at NCAA's and had 2 AA's when they hadn't had any in the prior 13 years.
