  1. I thought part of the reason Koll left Stanford was because he felt like he could not compete with their inability to offer NIL.
  2. what DPJ said my bad
  3. I think DT was very smart keeping Espo on because he has really good relationships with dee and Jax. I believe there was smoke because Dee was training with Carr out at Iowa state, but I think more recently he has gotten back on openly supporting okie state and cowboy rtc. Not saying he's 100% not going to flip but I am much more confident he honors his original commitment than I was 3 months ago.
  4. missou has a promising future with Mauger/Walker at 125, Sinclair and Rath and Mendoza coming in. Dom Bambinelli could also be a great middle weight guy just have not seen as much of him. I was impressed that Merill was able to keep the margins pretty close with Buchannan I was a bit down on him after his freestyle season and early folk season. Im going ferrari over gabe just by eye test, I think he has the best shot of getting a takedown although if gabe gets in hes really good at avoiding anything funky with the way he finishes which could be an issue for angelo who dive rolled a ton in high school. Going ferrari by riding time or in tiebreaks.
  5. Rozynski has jumped crazy levels since getting to Lehigh. He placed 7th at ironman last year and took a few other losses during the year. They are doing good things in the Lehigh valley.
  6. It would be foolish to say that Ladarion does not get talked about enough he certainly does the kid is a phenom. After Powerade where Miller beat Perentin and Burton killed Cunningham it really makes you realize just how separated Lockett is from everyone else including really elite guys. Lockett majored Miller in the ironman finals and nearly majored Burton bumping up a weight at who's 1.
  7. I don't think the loser leaves. If Angelo loses he redshirts, If Gabe loses Angelo may still redshirt but he probably goes and Gabe loses the year or descends to 174. I think the plan was always for Angelo to grow into 197 for next year anyhow I assume that still is the plan and for one of Gabe or PK to occupy 174&184. Where I could see Gabe being pissed is if they asked him to go 184 instead of 174 and now he can't go 174 either and hes now lost a season because he loses the 184 spot.
  8. We did and it looked like he took 2 years out of comp.. wonder if he just outright lost the spot to rivera. not that Peterson is a slouch by any means but I think I would have had that as a competitive match in 2023
  9. I believe Correa made it known he was re-opening his availability he was not at all pleased with michigan bringing someone else in let alone flipping someone who was also previously committed I believe to ASU. I don't really care about guys flipping prior to enrolling somewhere so I don't mind the Vega instance either. However I think this is still a bit different from that.
  10. are you eluding to the fact that his brain must be large given he goes to cornell?
  11. Conoway seems to be up there with Cunningham as the real secret sauce of that room. The guys speak so highly of him technically.
  12. I really believe he is the most talented wrestler in college right now. I think his brain both physically and mentally seems to be the only thing holding him back. I watched the Ed Scott match 4 or 5 times he scored 4 takedowns with 4 different attacks and made them all look relatively effortless. Not entirely sure what the purpose of this thread is I guess to say hes my pick to win NCAA's and I just hope he is able to stay healthy.
  13. I know you are not a big margin of victory guy and Luke has at times even in high school just done enough but does Ramos's dominance and Luke having competitive matches with guys I would consider to be more on the round of 16 level make you want to flip those two? I was on Luke coming into this year but I think Matt Ramos when he believes hes the best guy probably is at least for the time being.
  14. No idea if or what the criteria would be but for my eyes I would have it as a takedown if either his but was behind Keegans or maybe even parallel or if he was behind the other arm that the overhook is on. To me this is a hard position to declare control in even in a still frame.
  15. I would throw in both Hidlay brothers. I to this day think Hayden got hosed a bit against Nolf and Trent just had one of the best to ever do it at his weight for 4 years. Lance Palmer is another guy thats probably worth a mention and if Beau were to not win it this year I think he would be up there too.
  16. It was thats my mistake I knew he was on the roster and at 133 bad assumption on my end.
  17. mizzou not using Sinclair there is weak sauce
  18. Yianni got double boots in over the top in the NCAA finals to force OT against McKenna I believe in 2019? super similar situation but people said it should not have been a takedown for Yianni it was not ruled one here idk.
  19. scramble towards the end of the third where Keegan went to split the legs I think was a great example of free vs folk.
  20. anyone just get yianni d McKenna ptsd?
  21. Beau and Edmond are the same exact wrestler Beau is just a lot more skilled and maybe even a slightly better athlete but they are both freaks.
  22. Walker is going to be good had Jax dead to rights a few years ago at u17's and wrestled Luke really close both times they met last year. Kind of similar styles honestly.
  23. Barr's tank just seems to be a lot better than these guys. I wonder if growing into the weight is benefiting him more than these guys cutting down into it. Will be interesting if that proves to still be beneficial against Ferrari and Buchannen.
  24. Dragein Missouri kid spent some time at sem hes a freshman
  25. just now tuning in has rokfin been having issues?
