  1. Lilledahl is the most credentialed age level competitor we have ever had aside from maybe daton but some of datons success came in college. He is a 2x world champ and 2x world silver and he has one more year of u20 eligibility. changing your opinion on luke after the Mccrone loss vs after the peterson loss makes absolutely zero sense to me. Ramos and Vrob have been 1 and 2 for me since the peterson loss and I understand using that to detract from Luke. Getting cradled by Mccrone in a match he was handling does not change my perception of him in the slightest. He is a guy who showed weaknesses on bottom in high school and is utterly dominant on his feet. Mccrone is probably the only guy at the weight that's actually a threat to turn him but their is a huge disparity in their neutral ability so unless he gets cradled again I do not really see it being an issue.
  2. "Joe looks good, hes good" -Cael I think the only conviction I have ever heard from him
  3. sealey has no juice at 157 not sure why he is making that weight to redshirt.
  4. "they call me mystic cat because I predict these things" if you squint a little.
  5. blaze put his hands up to the crowd and said something. I think that has to be what he is referring to unless he meant Saldates singular fist pump.
  6. Nic lost to Santaniello at the clarion open so unfortunately there is no chance he starts at Pitt either (joke).
  7. 125: Robinson 133: Bailey (don't think Crookham will be ready) 141: Mendez 149: Henson 157: Shapiro 165: Messenbrink 174: O'Toole 184: Keck (I just want it to happen) 197: Buchanon 285: Steveson
  8. Did anyone see the NLWC post on instagram of Ono seemingly dogging Nick lee. I have no idea if they were full live goes or closer to play wrestling it was hard to tell but in the goes they posted Ono was having his way. Probably making too much out of just hard drilling I just thought it was interesting to see.
  9. I don't think he won any opens I know he won matches at the Nittany lion open in 7th grade which at the time was a pretty legit field. Chance really struggled with his addiction in college which I imagine limited him quite a bit and is likely why his best wrestling since has come in his late 20's which is abnormal.
  10. profile picture or sig?
  11. foolish of me but sure!
  12. I will give you 0.5 points!
  13. Pick em?
  14. I right now think Askey should be the favorite over Teemer. I understand their career resumes are not remotely similar, but Teemer is in year 7 has had an injury riddled career and I honestly just don't think he has looked good this year. I don't want to write him off he could have just needed a little more time off and will be back to last season form, but I think there is a chance he's just not quite the same guy and Askey quite frankly has been great this year and just dominated Brandon Cannon who I think may be Ohio state's best 157.
  15. I think Yousefi and Rezai can both be very good. Rezai has been relatively competitive with Messenbrink and Shaprio and beat Lockett all 3 of which I see being contenders for the US in 2028. Yousefi's win over gamerkelidze was very impressive.
  16. Azarpira is not the rep for Asian champs?
  17. psu opened at -18.5 wish I got it there I have them at -20.5 and Minn -3.5
  18. I think there is a pretty decent push right now for athletes to train strictly at the top range of movement for explosivity. I can see some benefit to it because you get no recoil although that can be mitigated by pausing at the bottom, but you risk more load to the joint then. To each their own I suppose not my cup of tea, but neither is complaining in a comment section about someone not using full ROM.
  19. I know he won Beast and he beat Marinelli at super 32 in 14 I believe I was like 13 though so my memory may not be accurate.
  20. Its so hard to know what they account for. I am a firm believer conference rankings should be solely predicated on conference results. But then I see people arguing Kerk over Gable because he won it more recently even though they will have the same in conference record but kerk will have a 50% bonus rate vs Gables 100%. I also do not like bonus for ranking or seeding criteria but when you are looking at two guys with the same resume to me it would be the tiebreaker. So, looking at those 3 guys they all have beaten each other so the tiebreaker to me would be winning pct which removes Ridge and then it would be h2h which would put SVN at the 1.
  21. I understand the sentiment I think Lovett having 2 losses even though one is 2 henson just dings him the slightest bit to where he ends up 3.
  22. Fox Baldwin deserves a shout 395 career wins albeit in Florida I don't believe he lost once he hit 9th grade.
  23. As to the Gable vs Iranian big 2 convo, I think Gable would beat Zare. Watching Geno get to his legs I think gable would have no issue doing so. He is also about 30lbs heavier than he was in 2021 which I think will allow him to hold center better than he would have previously. As for Masoumi I am not as confident simply because I think I have seen one person ever touch his legs and it was Mason like 1.5 years ago.
  24. Health issue I think or personal Bach eluded to an issue but did not go into details. He does think he is going up to 97kg though.
