  1. Calling my dark horse NCAA now: Sean Splidle spladle spays spent Spratley
  2. I mean I'm not complaining that a potential AA gets another year. But Byrd had a medical, Ruth just didn't like Lehigh.
  3. I keep seeing Edmond Ruth and I don't understand how he has eligibility. Since he was previously enrolled (and burned his redshirt) I don't get how 2022 could be a grey shirt year according to the D1 time-from-HS graduation-clock. I realize that basically anyone can do whatever they want or sue the NCAA but I'm genuinely confused. 2020 Lehigh redshirt 2021 free year at Lehigh, no matches 0-0 record 2022 not enrolled. This should count as a year as mentioned above? 2023 Illinois R12 2024 Illinois 7th 2025 Illinois R12 That's five in four years plus the free covid year unless my math ain't mathin'
  4. i meant T3 in B1G my fault. No complaints from me putting him that low nationally until he produces results.
  5. Chris Moore at Illinois qualified for NCAAs as a 165 true freshman, RS last year and should be in the middle of the B1G pack this year at 174. Probably Tier 3 by NHS rankings but I wouldn't be surprised if he has progressed into an R16-R12 profile.
  6. I bet he felt the exact same way on May 9th
  7. Real G's move in silence like lasagna
  8. I took it as a warning shot when it was first released and that's still how I interpret it a week later. Along the lines of "don't bring a knife to a gun fight" or "play stupid games, win stupid prizes."
  9. Feet Finder Facebook Fanboi Fukcheads Fail Ferociously
  10. The Mineo babyback bitch fanbois are spam-reporting to attempt to get her account blocked. You just have to click through to view profile. She fought fire with fire and shot her head through her opponent on some nasty blast doubles. https://x.com/madisonlsoltys?s=21&t=_MnrRxD_iQAoTHnWGZh5zg
  11. I would think so. He turned 30 his last year at Michigan and just had has fourth grandkid so I would assume if he has anything left in the tank he's going to rub some Biofreeze on his knee and give it a shot
  12. I would certainly not consider 57 to be "weak." Spencer Lee is still there. Aman is a returning medalist and can't even buy a drink in the states yet - he and RBY really came down to that one sequence and I can see it going differently next time as he grows with experience. Don't forget that he had to go the Spencer route by qualifying the weight then going to the olympics and getting the medal. Micic will be coming back from his ACL this year. Japan will send a medalist. Russia will send a medalist. Abdullaev and Zou have not gone anywhere. I'm sure there are others, this is just off the top of my head. And don't forget that in 18 months Thomas "Not Retired" Gilman will be back on the scene.
  13. Dake could never beat Taylor, and now he can't beat Taylor's protege. It's just fantasy science and people need to accept the facts.
  14. If Micic and RBY can make 57 for a tournament then I have faith in LL. But if he outgrows and moves to 61 then so be it - better to be successful at a higher weight than suck yourself out to BBQ. Regarding Spencer Lee - he isn't the future, he is the present. But he will also be 30 at the end of this quad and especially at 57 losing even a split second of a hair of reaction time means everything. Father Time is undefeated against everyone not named Kyle Dake or Benjamin Button.
  15. Technically Mason Manville could be coming off his second ORS and that spells trouble for anyone looking for cheap team points against a guy jumping up 3 weights
  16. I'm surprised RBY didn't move back to 61. MEX has proven they support non-olympic weights with Gomez going up to 70 this year. Good win and good on him for staying disciplined on a hard cut.
  17. I would like him to take the juniors and U23 spot, then take some time off and comes back for NCAAs. I'm big on Lilledahl's future at 57 (or maybe 61, but hopefully 57). The more high-stakes international reps he can get, the better he will be in the long run. But he didn't enter because he's beyond juniors, it is what it is.
  18. Sometimes things have be escalated up to the CEO before action can be taken. I'm sure many of you have dealt with an extremely high-performing dipstick who consistently knocks it out of the park, right?
  19. Shocking. My pearls are clutched so tight they make my eyes roll at that idiot and his following. I can't believe they are on facebook of all social media sites!
  20. ol' captain america took a trip south of the border down to La Quinta Inn and we saw a lot less if you know what I mean and you know what I mean Please come back KMF
  21. Pepperidge Farm remembers it wasn't that long ago that PSU fans, who always know best by the way, were shouting for Beau Bartlett and Shayne Van Ness to transfer out because they were such scrubs.
  22. Not very warm and fuzzy about the new guard, but who ever is? 57 Spencer 2-0 2 techs 61 Vito 2-0 1 close, 1 blowout 65 McKenna 2-1 The 65kg drought resumes 70 Yianni 2-1 Decided by the courts 74 Carr 2-1 If Caliendo can slow down MM then Carr can too 79 Haines 2-0 The new era officially begins. But not this year. 86 Dake 2-1 Putting the eye poke in "Zahid isn't a real Poke" 92 Hidlay 2-1 Not warm & fuzzy about either rep 97 Snyder 2-0 Sorry Zillmer, we all love and appreciate you 125 Pindrickson 2-0 Under 9.5 mins total
  23. With Kasak bulking up to heavyweight, SVN can go whichever weight PJ Duke doesn't.
  24. I missed the spelling bee last night. Didn't realize that's the academically correct way to spell "third place."
