The turnaround from 27 worlds to OTT is going to be interesting. Guys are going to go from peaking directly into peaking. Potentially will be a recipe for disaster if we want to send the best squad to LA. Reminds me of when Yazdani finally got one over on Taylor who just won an olympic gold - the body can only peak so much in this sport and same for the mind. Cass has one of the highest mat IQs in wrestling today. Not sure if he will go the NCAA HC route or RTC route, but it does not get much smarter than him. When I got the chance to meet him and pick his brain a bit when we finally got to wrestling I quickly realized his knowledge is pretty much off the charts. He can coach anyone from a 125lb to 125kg. He's a program-changing level of intelligence. That said, Gable will put on a show. I also hope Cass goes to MN and continues the 285 champions pipeline where Brandvold left off. You're correct in your assumption, he's a very good dude and what happened hasn't sat right all these years later on multiple fronts against both of the folks involved (for different reasons).
