  1. The crowd is just lending a helping hand to pick him up
  2. Amit Elor is P4P the most dominant wrestler in the world. She is on a rare path to ascend to all-time conversation, only time will tell how the journey ends.
  3. Five pages of people reporting significant UI issues with photos to show the actual behavior disagrees with your opinion
  4. @Husker_Du @BobDole As a generic customer persona user I would like to have expected full UI navigation functionality. Expected: I can view a page without being impeded, click links, and scroll without a shade blocker. Actual: due to UI advertisements I cannot explore the page or provide customer engagement. Do your job. It's not phucking hard. I know this because I have led digital operations for twenty years at F100 companies. Do I need to teach you how to write a user story, show you how to implement it, or ignore it and move on? Is this a red bike problem? The customer base gave a long grace period to the person who graciously does this pro bono out of the love of the sport but a spade is a spade. Shillie don't know $hitty
  5. Hey @Husker_Du and @BobDole here is tonight's experience. It's not unfair to expect some modicum of a less than *I poop my pants, don't laugh at me*-tastic experience. It was literally the entire f'ing screen. Also, your targeted ads provider has always been way off but that's your problem after you figure out the ads vs real estate problem.
  6. I'm in the minority that understood what you were trying to say. It was like when I was arguing with He... Who shall not... Be named... That his kin was so far above the peerset that they should only be looking at senior level competition. All this said, I still find it very odd that Steveson didn't chase down that Bob Nichols bag if he's re-exiting for an MMA run after NCAAs anyways. Dude wants to rightfully get paid and he has absolutely earned it, Nichols pays to play, that Hawkeye singlet is a genuine marketing vehicle, and taking the mercenary heel turn is nothing less than expected at this point in college athletics. Plus you're telling me that Brands would rather run out Kueter than the guy who is about to absolutely embarass Kueter? I am failing to grasp the "loyalty to UM" angle.
  7. As a conversational piece, it is rather interesting seeing Gable Steveson transform from the golden child to the villain from a voyeuristic perspective and it is happening based almost entirely on athletic endeavors. This sports never ceases to amaze me with its' ability to eat its' own. Be Jordan Burroughs and stick around as long as you can, get run out of town (see that drunk NLWC asshat screaming at him). Be Gable Steveson and pursue other ventures, get run out of town when you return. Makes you think...
  8. Kerk is the farthest thing from "fun" I can think of. Just a big boring oak tree. David Taylor said it best when he said (paraphrasing) "if Kerkvliet could ever figure out how to put it all together and chain wrestle then he would be unstoppable." But unless something magical happens this is who Kerk is and he won't ever take The Leap now that dudes on the senior level have physically caught up to him.
  9. He's getting zero money from anywhere else and his career aspiration is to be famous. This is the only path left. He washed out of WWE. He never got off the ground in the NFL. If Bo Nickal, who is the Dana White prototype of supreme mic skills and mat skills and stopping power, can't get a prize fight yet then there is not a chance in hell Steveson makes big MMA moves in less than 5 years. He's a marginal fashion influencer. Wrestling isn't sexy but it's always going to be there for Steveson as long as he wants to compete.
  10. Already lost to Luke Luffman of Illinois. Kerk will get the 2 seed unless Hendrickson or Bastida goes undefeated but they will probably trade matches this year. Schultz shouldn't waste his time in folk anyways he should be solely focused on greco where no one cares that he is so boring.
  11. Constant broadcast outages, no product roadmap, and they can't even teach their bloggers how to use WordPress. Another feather in the cap for the the technology savants of the sport!
  12. Name your wager. I'll take an "I'm only here because I want to get paid" totally checked out HEW Gable Steveson over anyone else in the world not named Zare, Massoumi, or Geno right now. 100% serious. I'll call your bet right meow.
  13. You've been waiting all year to make that post, haven't you?
  14. i Purdon't see this happening
  15. Well, Mason Parris will always be an olympian and world medalist. He had a great career while Gable let it last.
  16. Of course Lewan looked like a deer in the headlights. It was the first time in his life that he was in a match where he needed to use his fingers AND toes to count all the points.
  17. Weird because we actually feel bad for you having to watch Bono.
  18. I'll take the guy who made the OTT finals and it won't be pretty. The Byrd who wrestles this weekend won't be the same guy in March when he's back in shape. Who knows which Ruth shows up, hopefully the good one. Meyer Shapiro unanimous MOW if he competes.
  19. It's November. Mobile is still broken with the bottom ad blocking the Tap-A-Talk toggle. Desktop is still a mess as well. Load times are a disaster (see the basic browser dev console screenshot below for the thousands of reasons), multiple tabs is a death wish. Might be worth investing in a fractional product manager who knows what they are doing. While I fully support every person migrating to Brave or similar, expecting people to use a different browser just to use a forum is... not ideal.
  20. They tried that but the kids ate all the fruit snacks and Capri Suns the parents were handing out and missed weight
  21. Kannon Webster is an undefeated #1 seed at B1Gs
  22. I hope you got a discount on your Cascade treadmill because that's the only one durable enough to keep moving those goal posts
  23. Zane Richards beat Gilman for his first world team at 29. What weight was that again? Again, not saying he will make the team. But he will wrestle at olympic trials. He could blow out both knees again on March 31, 2028 and I would still bet my paycheck Spencer Lee will be at OTT one last time. He may go 86 for all I know, but he will be there. He's like JB, Snyder, Taylor, etc - wired different than the rest of us.
  24. Thus why he shows up. He's got that Brands in him.
  25. Ahh crap already forgot he dropped in the quarters not the semis. Welp, I guess it's at WTT or worlds next year. Love me some JB but his (earned) hubris demands a standing O.
