Best case for Michigan:
DeAugustino dec Davis (3-0)
Ragusin dec Nagao (6-0)
Bartlett Dec Lemley (6-3)
Gomez FALL Kasak (12-3)

Starocci dec Griffin (18-6)
Bullock dec Barr (21-6)
Brooks maj Striggow (21-10)
Davison dec Kerk (24-10)
Currently ranked #12 at 149 by Intermat. Probably more of a natural 141 pounder like Beau Bartlett who also wrestled up for the team. Recently tech falled #14 Rooks, but had some struggles getting out from bottom.
Is he a legit AA contender?
125: DeAugustino dec Davis 0-3
133: Ragusin dec Nagao 0-6
141: Bartlett dec Lemley 3-6
149: Gomez dec Kasak 3-9
157: Haines maj Mattin 7-9
165: Amine dec Mesenbrink 7-12
174: Starrocci dec Griffith 10-12
184: Truax dec Bullock 13-12
197: Aaron Brooks major Striggow 17-12
285: Kerkvliet dec Davison 20-12
Such a weird way to end a tech fall for Kasak. He was up 14-0 and just had to escape to win but he couldn't escape until the end of the match when Rooks let up with 0.01 seconds left and the ref awarded the escape.
Hutmacher was huge but had zero gas tank. Unless he improves that significantly I don't see him as a AA threat.
Kueter only weighed in at 220 pounds. I doubt he'll be able to add much good weight while he gets into wrestling shape. Maybe he can be the next Anthony Cassar?
Meaning if you could hypothetically equalize all of their wrestlers to the same weight, who would be the best?
Obvious choices are Starocci and Brooks, but maybe Messenbrink is the best of the bunch?
No AJ means no Angelo and no Anthony...might this result in Iowa not finishing in the top 3 in the team race the next few years? It's a dark day in Hawkeye nation.
