Is Ayala getting paid as much as Kyle Parco? If not, then Askren has a point. Ayala has placed higher than Parco, has more years of eligibility remaining, and has been a Hawkeye from the start. That certainly justifies being paid more than a 1 year rental like Parco who hasn't ever made a NCAA final.
