    I’m there. Crowd was booing Fix. Total lack of offense. Boring. Has over stayed his welcome (quite old) given he provides nearly no entertainment value. And then the stalemate call when opponent was in on that shot in OT …. Fans just not thrilled with him.

    Goes hand in hand with the team score parity below first place …. Seems like the number of teams with multiple AAs is very high. And outside of Penn State there are no teams with 5 or more AAs. Many with 3. The parity there is interesting. I figure one of you will run the numbers (thank you). Number of teams with multiple AAs may be historic.

    To get a high seed you should have to earn it, in very large part in THIS season. You need to wrestle a good number of matches, have good quality wins, few loses, and do very well at your qualifying tournament. Carter simply didn’t deliver on many of these. I get why people feel differently …. But I do believe this seeding system is very reasonable.

    Hoping Shapiro / Haines happens. I wonder if Haines is too fundamentally sound to succumb to Shapiro’s wizardry. Also hope Shapiro is and stays healthy so that this happens.

    Few seem to think Carter is actually, meaningfully, hurt. Seems like he is. I think Lewis wins it.

    All the ‘other’ wrestlers in the top half of the 174 bracket think they got f’d. Bottom bracket guys have to be pretty happy. Brutal disparity when considering past results.

    Wow. What a match. Hamiti is so good. Surprised each time he loses. Crazy scramble at end to give Messenbrink those backs. Hamiti seemed to run out of gas on bottom there. 13-11 Mess.

    Two good upper body guys going for it upper body. The arena erupts as the position becomes apparent and both guys go for it. Love it. Seeing Lovett and Gomez do this near end of B1G finals … fireworks. (and yet, Greco sucks, huh)

    Very very cool. Thanks for posting. Can you describe more what you did to ‘fit’ the data? Not sure what that means. Did it somehow modify the data to give smoother probability distributions?
