Love this one …. Takes up whole screen. How to get out???? No ‘x’ to press. Don’t want to click on the ad. This is ridiculous. Keep head in sand. As I type this damn ad popped up twice more / no three times more! (Best guess - while my iPhone keyboard is up - theoretically covering ad in lower right, while typing a click on keyboard in area over the ad is causing ad to take over screen. This sucks.)

Lower screen blocked off. Results in upper screen not being accessible - can’t click on anything. Took me a couple minutes to figure out a way to make this post by getting around the ads. Ridiculous.

Well, at each round some will break through to AA level. On Friday 4 AAs are known first - those in Semis. After blood round 4 folks are near. Next round - 2 are into consi semis and they are AA (lowest can place is 6). Then 7/8 match determines last AA. An idea for discussion. Glad there are many here that are capable of an intelligent discussion.

Our long time super stars deserve tremendous praise and gratitude. Accolades and adoration. And …. It is time to root for the emergence of new super studs with some fresh hunger and fresher bodies.

An idea - Make it so only 7 all-Americans. Same format, but now, blood round winners (not including semifinals) are not clear of risk of non-AA. Chance wrestler could fall to 7/8 match and then need to win that to be All-American. No coasting. 7/8 match becomes very very exciting. Blood round is STILL awesome. STILL a big deal. But some tantalizing risk remains. Added bonus reasons … Podium is now symmetric. 3 on each side of first place. Now can more easily say if AA - wrestler is top 10% of D1 starting wrestlers.

Taylor’s Ok State paycheck has to have Burroughs thinking hard about coaching. Question is - is there a program that would be willing to pay near that to JB? Any with deep pockets wanting the change? OK state stepped up. Would Oklahoma? Making stuff up here.

Deep down, I think DT has been my favorite wrestler to watch going back to his college days. Such technique, such variety. Whenever he lost, just shocked the hell out of me. Always seemed like the complete package. In folkstyle he was just superb in neutral, top, and bottom. Would do things that would make me say ‘wow.’ Were some guys better in some positions - perhaps. But David just put on a show in each one. Amazing. So glad he climbed the summit over and over again. Congrats to him and to his support group. What am amazingly successful career.

All seemed like the same shot to me. One side or other. I’m no technique wizard though. But yes, perhaps it was the only option he found available due to Sad’s positioning and threats.

Taylor did not leave shoes on mat. I can see wanting to get off mat and clear head.

How many go behinds has Taylor experienced against him? Feel like it has been very very low. Sad got it twice. Springs like a cat. And I think that snap down before one go behind was unreal. To DTs credit, was not chest wrapped after being threatened with it multiple times. And didn’t get gut wrenched.

DT seems to have one trick. Not seeing much variety in attacks. Easily said. Sad is awesome.
