Replace the tape each season. Or more often. I've seen this also and it is a hassle for sure. Tape is too short so it has to be connected, looks horrible and probably is an issue. But it is not cheap. mspart

I agree on Flynn. Not on Covid. NYC was screaming for help because they had run out of room to deal with the pandemic. Sending the ship was an effort to ease that issue and the fact that it wasn't needed was further proof that is covid scare was just that. Firing Fauci would have been not been viewed well by a majority of Americans at that time. Should have happened but everyone thought he was who he said he was instead of some kind of malevolent force making up 6 foot policies on the fly. I don't think this demonstrates a loose cannon on policy. What could Trump have done, in the circumstance, to better work the covid situation? It had not been dealt with by anyone alive in this country. This was new territory. Sweden got it right and the majority of states in the US got it wrong. I think he has principles. Whatever eases pain for business he is for. Whatever increases pain for business he is against. Pro business is pro consumer as it allows all to compete on a level playing field. He is Pro USA. He is anti-war. He is anti onerous regulation. He is pro jobs. He signed a deal for Black Colleges that allowed them not to have to come to DC every year for funding. He signed for multi year funding. I think he has principles, but does not have much in the way of self discipline on the social media front. mspart

Harris Picks Walz as VP Running Mate over Josh Shapiro

Its's all the far left has. They cannot argue the merits, they have to destroy the messenger with accusations they just throw out and hope they stick. Just pathetic. mspart -

Yianni is not a multiple World and Olympic champ. And the previous year's world champ. No put down on Yianni but that's just a fact. I agree DT shoudl not be at the olympics, he proved that in the trials. But if he had been at the Trials and won as expected, then I think we would have had a different outcome in Paris. But his heart was not in it, you could see no fire. Nothing wrong with that, but if he felt that way he shouldn't have participated in the Trials. Maybe he didn't know and just burned out training for the Trials and just didn't want that grind for any longer. Or maybe he knew about the OSU job and was diverted. mspart

Correct, the Ds stopped him from being able to do what he wanted. So too late, he decided he could move money around and get it done. Biden stopped that on day one. mspart

Especially in light of Walz spending years lying about his military record. Said he retired at a higher rank than he actually did. Very easy to verify the lie here. Said he carried weapons in war. Very easy to verify the lie here. Said he was in a war zone. Very easy to verify the lie here. Said he served 24 years in the national guard. Very easy to verify the truth here. He is not being criticized for the last item. It is for the first three items. mspart

I saw the title of the thread and knew immediately what this would be about. Based on your question, I have to question if you watched any of the matches of the Olympics. Many had challenges and many were lost. Go back and watch Dake's Bronze match. You'll see it. mspart

Yes, that guy was tough to understand. I'm wondering why he was speaking in English. Everything else was in French and then English. mspart

How to think critically about what the media is telling you?

How are you, who is dead, so wise in the ways of IP science? mspart -
I would much rather have DeSantis than Trump. That's for sure. I would much rather have Trump than Kamala. That's for sure. aspart

If he had been motivated he would have won OTTs. I think there was talk about OSU coaching and that distracted him. He did not look like he wanted a trip to Paris to me. I could be wrong. He could have placed first but the desire would have had to be there. It wasn't. He's doing fine. mspart

Well, there aren't any anymore, that's for sure. Having a Primary is a joke to the Ds. Yeah, well we disagree so we'll put in whoever we want. That is essentially what they are telegraphing the next 4 years will be if they win. mspart

Such people are not worthy of consideration BB. In all the lead up to where we are now, it started with someone doesn't feel safe or is uncomfortable because of something that was said. They need their own rooms to go to to unwind. They need to not have anyone contrary to their opinions on campus to share another opinion. Now we have TPT saying that that same logic should not, cannot, must not be used for those feeling uncomfortable or unsafe when using the wrong bathroom. Sorry TPT, you can't have it both ways. It is either right or wrong to make all people feel uncomfortable or not feel safe. Which is it? mspart -
I suppose he could but then his delegates have already pledged to Kamala. They would have to take all of the pre ballots they threw away for Biden and try to recover them and cancel the printing of the pre ballots for Kamala. mspart

When their rules say it is democratic, it should be democratic. Given the circumstances i don't know how they would do that. All I know is that if Kamala had been on the primary ballot she would not have been second or third. But in fact, Biden was essentially the only one allowed on primary ballots. And he received the votes. Then he did not voluntarily leave, he was coerced to leave the race. He said he would never leave unless God himself came down and told him. That was just before he gave it up. He was coerced and essentially told we can do this the easy way or the hard way. He chose the easy way because he was going to have to go one way or the other. That is where democracy in the D party died in this case. They forced the guy out that got all the primary votes for someone who got zero primary votes. There was no other voting allowed. Granted the delegates have fallen in line but they are not the people who voted. What would it look like if Biden didn't run and it was a wide open primary? That would have been democratic. Now you can't say there weren't signs. Biden has deteriorated significantly in the last 2 years. Yet all anyone without a brain could say was he is the best he's ever been, he runs circles around his staff etc etc. And Kamala was a huge liability and discussions were had to drop her. Then he quits and he is amazing and she is the saviour of the party and the right person for the job. Talk about two faced - and that's just the media. mspart

I'm wondering about Snyder. In his Bronze medal match, he hand fought like a crazy man and bled like one too. But I don't remember a lot of shots taken. He reached for legs and backed off. I never really saw a concerted offensive attack. Maybe I just don't remember well. But that is not the Snyder of yesteryear. When he shoots on Taz, he gets crushed. Happened again in the semi's. I think that affected him. It wouldn't surprise me if he went looking for something else to do. Lee - He can keep going if his knees are good. Or he may choose to coach or something else. He is committed to HWC for a few years. Retherford - I think he is done. Too bad about that, I hope he is ok. Dake - he came alive in the Bronze medal match late. If he can keep that going, he could last another cycle, but he is getting long in the tooth. But I think he has it physically to give. Brooks - He may be our guy for awhile but not sure. He medalled which is not nothing. So he was successful. He's young enough but I think he is more vulnerable. I don't think his matches with Taylor are indicative of him, but indicative that Taylor was done as he just didn't look motivated. Parris - He has done well just not this time. It seems to me this is his weight for awhile. My question marks are really Dake and Snyder. They ahve been playing this game for a long time and may decide the pasture is greener over there. mspart

Wow, now this is news. Musk and Rumble call them on their schtick and they have no defense so they cave and quit. Wow, just incredible. mspart
