  2. Yeah, and that is why NYC and Chicago and Denver along with others budget money for the aliens upkeep so they can go out to the farms and haul food and then come back to the big city and enjoy their comfy digs. Who's naive in this picture? By the way, the stucco I can vouch for. When I worked plastering in Phoenix back in the day, the finishers were all Mexican and they were truly artisans. When immigration came, the place was vacated very quickly. No more work for that day. We worked in Phoenix near Bell Road and then we got another job doing the same thing but in Gilbert. We lived in Chandler so thought that was a better deal. Paid more too. mspart
  3. Toyota put their eggs in the hybrid market and I think that is the better way to go. The could see that the EV market was not there. mspart
  4. He did not say they were all drug runners bringing crime and all are rapists. But we have enough evidence that there are some. Not sure what you are arguing about. Why should we allow these people into our country? mspart
  5. That is an interesting proposition. No I would not support it unless she was tyrannical and all other ways proved futile. And I would not select Trump to take her place. This would presumably take place in 2 years from now to 4 years from now to give her time to go full T Rex. By that time Trump would be out of the picture and there would be an opposition leader that would be a better person to fill the spot until an election could take place. She would have to subvert all the checks and balances of the Constitution to get to that point and be an autocrat beholden to no one. It is a scarier scenario that a casual thought question. mspart
  6. Is it possible to put a person in a hold like that without choking of air or blood? Of course, it is a subdue-ing hold that can also make it so he cannot fight and get away. He can continually struggle which is what he did. That is apparent because it took others to help subdue him. A review of the toxicology and further autopsy showed that he was not deprived of blood or breath. If true, did Penny koll him? I think the situation of him threatening harm to others is sufficient to subdue him. Better than after he assaults and possibly seriously injures someone. I have no problem with what Penny did'.
  7. 1. Trump wanted Ukraine to investigate Joe and Hunter for stuff related to Burisma. 2. Trump was impeached for doing this. 3. Joe pardoned Hunter who was on the board of directors of Burisma. 4. The date of the pardon goes back to before Hunter was associated with Burisma. 5. Trump was impeached for trying to get Ukraine to investigate Joe and Hunters' relationship with Burisma. Also interesting at roughly the same time the laptop swirled around and it was called Russian disinformation. Apparently it was not, and is not able to be used to prosecute Hunter, although it could still be used against others. It appears Trump was on to something that Biden and the swamp didn't want out. Now we all know and most shrug at the corruption of the Bidens. mspart
  8. You are not explaining what the phone call was about. Please explain that. I believe you will see that it ties it all together. mspart
  9. So Trip, would the situation be any different if Neely knifed a woman (or otherwise assaulted a woman or child or man) and Penny put in in the same hold and Neely died? I see this and the actual situation as the same as people on the train were fearing being hurt because of Neely's behavior and threats. ms
  10. There are a few who do not. RV is one of them. What does it matter now? Just let them run off with their ill gotten gains and leave them alone. mspart
  11. While typing the message, the site stops for 10 seconds, then it is good for 10 seconds so that I cannot see what I am typing. It is very frustrating. mspart
  12. Riley Gaines seems to be concerned. mspart
  13. Trump was impeached for a phone call to Ukraine that Biden just pardoned his son for. Trump was right apparently but he was impeached for it. Weird DC political stuff going on. mspart
  14. https://blueprint2024.com/polling/post-mortem-2-nov/ In the final days of the 2024 presidential election, one in four swing voters were still making up their minds. When they finally chose, they broke decisively for Donald Trump—delivering a deeply sobering message about Democratic Party misalignment on the high-salience issues of immigration and the economy and laying bare a Democratic brand problem. These voters absorbed right-wing attacks against the Democratic Party and delivered a verdict driven by kitchen-table economics and immigration concerns while rejecting what they perceived as Democratic cultural priorities. As our research has shown, these decisive swing voters ranked the Democratic Party’s perceived focus on cultural issues over middle-class concerns as their top criticism (+28)—even above inflation (+24) and immigration (+23). Vice President Harris couldn’t escape what voters think the Democratic Party represents—believing that the party holds extreme positions on the broad swath of issues and would enforce them through policy. Over 80% of these decisive swing voters believed Harris held positions she did not campaign on in 2024, including supporting taxpayer funding for transgender surgeries for undocumented immigrants (83%), mandatory electric vehicles by 2035 (82%), decriminalizing border crossings (77%), and defunding the police (72%). Perhaps most painfully, only 22% of swing voters who chose Trump believed Harris prioritizes “Americans like me” versus party activists—a stark contrast with the 80% who said Trump prioritizes “Americans like me” over party activists. Furthermore, 75% of swing voters who broke for Trump say it is either “extremely accurate” or “very accurate” that Democrats are “too focused on fighting Trump rather than bringing the country together.” Despite Harris’s disciplined campaign messaging and positioning in speeches and paid advertising, Republicans created and exploited disconnects between Harris’s stated views and the preferences of the electorate, building narratives around her that resonated organically with swing voters. The decision points of these voters—who remained open to persuasion until the very end—reveal not just a rejection of Harris but what they believed the Democratic Party stands for. Pretty interesting. I heard about this yesterday. For swing voters, the trans issue was a big reason they went for Trump. mspart
  15. One would think, but that has proven not to be true in many cases. mspart
  16. Kolat definitely. Dake multiple WC, yes him too. Terry? Spencer? I think too soon for him to be on the list. Terry didn't make the olympic team in 1996 in spectacular manner. He did make it in 2000, but had not done much wrestling since 1996. He did make the 1999 WT ( I was at the WTTs that year in Seattle), but I don't think he went to the WCs that year. I just looked it up and it appears he also made the 1997 world team but didn't compete at the WCs as well. I'm not sure why. But he was a two time WC, I think we would know more and could better judge this if he had gone to the 1997 and 1999 WCs. I think that keeps him off this list. Dake is a 4 time WC, but two of those not in Olympic weights. So again, not enough data probably. Lee Kemp - For sure. mspart

  19. Electricity came back on Saturday before Thanksgiving in the evening. We at out at the Mexican place and the power was on when we got home. So we will do that from now on hoping that is a causal relationship. Slept a lot, or wanted to. Turkey sandwich today was full of smoky goodness!! mspart
  20. I don't think it is a matter of the state's doing the Fed's job. It is a matter of when the Feds ask the state to provide the names of all illegal aliens in their prisons and when they are getting out and the state advising them of these details so the feds can deport when the sentence runs out. If they do not do this, they are harboring an illegal alien. If they refuse to give whereabouts of individuals who are not incarcerated, that to would be a felony if they know the whereabouts. mspart
  21. This site stalls for 10 seconds, unstalls for about 5 seconds then stalls again for 10 seconds and repeats this cycle over and over. It is very frustrating actually. I cannot see what I am typing over half the time. And then it appears. It takes too long to type even this short post. I think I am done for today. It is too frustrating. I think it is the ads doing this but not sure. But that is something that could be fixed. mspart
  22. Tom Homan: https://www.koat.com/article/border-czar-tom-homan-sanctuary-cities-deportation/63036106 A warning to sanctuary states was given by incoming "Border Czar" Tom Homan, citing a federal law that prohibits people from protecting illegal immigrants and saying, "This is a felony to knowingly harbor concealed illegal immigration authorities. Don't test us." KOAT legal expert John Day said there's not much a state can do to resist a federal order, but if they do try to resist, he said there could be consequences. "There is a law that says if you knowingly conceal or harbor someone who's an unauthorized person, you theoretically can face federal prosecution or face fines," Day said. "What we haven't seen is if and how it applies to mayors, to governors, to people who are elected officials in states, and that's where I think the real battle may develop." Tom Homan is not messing around. mspart
  23. We had a great Thanksgiving. We smoked the turkey and it was incredible. I'll tell you all exactly how. 1. We thawed the turkey. 2. We brined the turkey overnight. 3. We put rub on the turkey. 4. We put it in the smoker with apple wood chips for the smoke. 5. Actually the wood smoked for longer than we have ever seen. I think the turkey was in there for 2 hours with the smoke happening. Our smoker is simple. Wood box for chips when they run out of smoke, the smoking is done. 6. Pulled the turkey out after the smoke stopped and finished it in the oven with foil wrapped around it to keep the juices in. 7. Still have sandwich meat ready to go. mspart
  24. To be honest, I would be surprised if Hunter did this. I would expect he keep his nose clean (see what I did there?) and not do anymore shenanigans. He won't have "the big guy" there to protect him anymore. mspart
  25. I will not wager, but I think the former happens and the latter does not. I will applaud this as I feel military readiness has suffered due to the woke policies enacted in the military. mspart
