  1. People, women mostly, say I look like Mel Gibson. That was when I was younger. But it just happened a few weeks ago. I don't see it, but he is my doppleganger without the beard!! Him and Karelin!! mspart
  2. Adam Saitiev was a force to be reckoned with. He was fun to watch. mspart
  3. GI Bill is for military service. It compensates for the low pay they get. I have no problem with GI Bill. Loan forgiveness is nothing of the sort. You take a loan you pay it back. Period. mspart
  4. If they made good choices, they would have the money to pay for the loans. Is that not self evident in the aggregate? mspart
  5. Jonathan Turley says here what I have tried to say in past posts about the judicial system and the two tiered behemoth it has become. https://jonathanturley.org/2024/02/21/nothing-succeeds-like-excess-new-yorks-perverse-incentive-in-pricing-trump-out-of-an-appeal/#more-215973 Watching the celebrations probably caused many executives to check time shares in Florida. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has rushed to assure businesses that there is “nothing to worry about” after the corporate public execution of Trump and his company. But the best that politicians like Hochul and Adams can offer is that you have nothing to fear from confiscatory actions unless you are Trump in New York. Which is precisely why this decision should be overturned. What is clear is that this case would never have been brought, let alone result in this massive fine, except for politics. For example, if you are the NRA, James will seek your destruction for financial irregularities, but if you are Black Lives Matter or Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, there is little real risk in such controversies. If the only protection in New York is the discretion of figures like James, few businesses would relish the future. The message is that you can expect blind and equal justice so long as you don’t run afoul of the Democrats in power. If you are unpopular, you could be looking at not only unprecedented actions and fines, but a need to virtually liquidate your assets just to be able to appeal a decision. This should shock the conscience of anyone concerned about the integrity and fairness of the New York legal system. Confiscatory fines and required deposits leave not just defendants but the entire system bankrupt. This is what I am talking about. And this from an objective Democrat observer. mspart
  6. Student loan forgiveness is unfair to working individuals who took no loans or paid them back. Just because they made poor choices doesn't mean they shouldn't pay the loans back. I have kids who say they can't pay for college without loans. But these guys do not want to work 40 hours a week to make money to go to pay for school or reduce the amount of loan they would have to take. They want it handed to them. I have one that is still hammered by loans. But he has a good job now and can pay and he is. He would like loan forgiveness but I don't think he is eligible. mspart
  7. I have ATT and my cell has been working fine. mspart
  8. Joe does look very spry and in command of his body and mental faculties. This video completely changes my mind about his physical and mental condition. Look at him walk. How poorly conditioned are all those folks around him that he walks and works circles around? mspart
  9. I do have a fireplace and lots of wood around me. I hope I will be fine. Actually I hope I'm long gone when and if this all comes down. I'd just rather not have to go through it. mspart
  10. They would find out and not be upset, they would adjust the terms of the loan to fit the situation. The banks are not in the business of losing money on loans. It does happen but they are careful. In Trump's case they verified asset worth and overall found it favorable and went ahead with the loan. But he was prosecuted anyway. And this is why businesses are very concerned in NY and why the governor felt the need to try to tamp those concerns down by saying they are not Trump so they will not be prosecuted. mspart
  11. Your first statement would be true if it were Conspiracy theory. Comey said it was not. Hillary's email server was a con against her? https://www.fbi.gov/news/press-releases/statement-by-fbi-director-james-b-comey-on-the-investigation-of-secretary-hillary-clinton2019s-use-of-a-personal-e-mail-system From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were “up-classified” to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent. With respect to the thousands of e-mails we found that were not among those produced to State, agencies have concluded that three of those were classified at the time they were sent or received, one at the Secret level and two at the Confidential level. There were no additional Top Secret e-mails found. Finally, none of those we found have since been “up-classified.” There is no con. Hillary had emails that were classified in a server that was not on State Department property. Comey said so in his statement that, "Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case." So she broke the law, caught red handed, but they won't prosecute. That is what the above says. No conspiricy. No con. She did it and they didn't prosecute when they could have and had ample evidence to get a conviction. You mention DC servers were notoriously security conscious. This server was not in DC, but in fact was located remotely in Chappaqua, New York. So your statement shows ignorance of the situation. Colin Powell was at the beginning of email-dom so I give him a pass. By the time Hillary stepped up, there were laws in place governing the use of email by government employees. She worked around these and by credible sources exposed this data to foreign actors. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/07/us/hillary-clintons-email-was-probably-hacked-experts-say.html When the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said on Tuesday that his investigators had no “direct evidence” that Hillary Clinton’s email account had been “successfully hacked,” both private experts and federal investigators immediately understood his meaning: It very likely had been breached, but the intruders were far too skilled to leave evidence of their work. I think I have fairly shown that she was caught red handed with classified documents in her possession on her personal server when they should not have been on that server. She was most likely hacked by foreign actors per NYT reporting. All of this was acknowledged by Comey with his recommendation that she not be prosecuted. I have given you various sources here that should be credible to you. Now it was not a Conspiracy theory. She did it and didn't pay for it. We know Biden did it and won't pay for it. Trump did no worse and is paying for it. If looking at this objectively doesn't give you the idea that there is a two tiered system of justice, you will never think that and will continue to believe your consipiracy theories about conspiracy theories. And you will be proven wrong as you have been here. mspart
  12. Correct. And this trans discussion we are having as a nation is not about these individuals. It is about people thinking they can change their sex and have everyone else go along for the charade. Like men who say they are women going in women's bathrooms and changing rooms. Like men who say they are women who compete in women's sports. In Canada there is a 50 year old guy thinking he is female and swimming against 13 year old girls. And showering and dressing with them. I guess he is pretending he is a young teen girl as well. That has nothing to do with chromosomal issues as just brought up. That is a red herring argument to make and anyone who is intellectually honest does not go there. mspart
  13. It is a big decision to make for sure. Being a Tweener can't be fun. Do we know what kind of cuts in weight Dake, Taylor, and Snyder have to make? For Gilman I think it is pretty drastic. Mason is probably ok. Cox going to 125 doesn't make sense to me. He would need to fill out quite a bit and I don't see that on his frame. But he may have a chance to make the team there where I don't think he has any chance at 97. Maybe this time he won't be late to weigh ins. I would think Retherford would go to 65. Dake has 74 pretty well locked up but I have a small hope for JB. I don't think Retherford is in that league yet. Whatever happens, the OTTs will be spectacular this year I think. mspart
  14. I thought you were talking Wago electrical connectors. Boy am I out of touch. They should have named the Wagyu just to confuse everyone. mspart
  15. This is true. It would be pretty tough for most everyone. But that fits with the lefts population control ideology. Get rid of the bad humans. mspart
  16. We have a stream that runs all winter through our yard. In fact in a heavy rain this year it overflowed the 2 foot diameter drainage pipe and flooded my neighbors garage. Not so much water running in the summer. So that would be a bummer. I gots the big bag lifestraw. So if I can get it, I can filter it. mspart
  17. Are you sure? What was that you said about reading comprehension? Hopefully this is not too much for you to read and comprehend. It's all you, and nothing but the you. But I will spell it out for you. First you quote Husker's Portland murder chart and comment with "add making guns readily and easily available and legal to carry" bolded here just like you did there. And then you come back after this comment about Portland murders and say "Absolutely nothing I've posted is about Portland or Open Carry". In effect you said the bold about Portland murders and then say you didn't. Trying to have your cake and eat it too but it just didn't work out for you. "But it usually works, darn" you might say. Maybe next time. Facts are stubborn things. mspart mspart
  18. And you can kiss electrical energy good bye. And your job. And your way of life. And your computers. mspart
  19. And that my friends is what I have been talking about. If you are a favored class you get the stuff, you don't get prosecuted, etc. If you are not, then you don't get the stuff and you may get prosecuted for what the favored are not prosecuted for. mspart
  20. We are blessed for sure. mspart
  21. It would be proportional I'm sure. That's what this argument is all about. Israel can kill no more than 1200 and capture no more than 300. Then they have to back off or get international condemnation. There's 2 million Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip. Even if the number of Palestinian dead was 100k, that would not represent genocide. mspart
