Sir- do you want me to send you a signed photo or something? 90% of your posts in here involve my name. It’s very weird. I’m sorry for whatever made you this infatuated with me. It’s not that deep…

Theres no way you're really Minnow because you're totally out of character.  The real minnow would've blocked @Interviewed_at_Weehawken because he's a chicken shit

I was under the assumption that Kemerer was turned off by his Iowa visit because the guys that hosted him took him out partying, which he had no interest in doing. Which that happens at 99% of wrestling programs. I'm not sure he was turned off because of the bad culture surrounding the program, however. I could be wrong, but that's how I understood that situation.

The culture of any program lives on and off the field.  His exacts words,

“I just saw stuff off the mat that made me question things,” Kemerer says now. “I wasn’t sure how well I fit in here after seeing the culture."

  4. Way prior to the Ferrari's going to Iowa you've had high profile former Hawkeye wrestlers openly blasting the program and declaring it's a toxic environment.  The Ferraris didn't change the stank that's been coming out of Iowa for over a decade.  Just go read Kemerer's experience on a recruiting trip and how he almost backed out because of the shit show that it is.  I doubt the Ferrari's change anything on the recruiting front but it's highly probable they'll be the ones that get the Brands fired.

Thanks, and I've realized that now.  Maybe a chat feature on these forums would help the "trolls" to do their thing without constantly having a conversation within the threads that are irrelevant.  One can hope...

We have a tendency to go off the rails on this forum but I can assure you the guys posting on your thread do contribute a lot of great insight and info on this sport.  Hopefully you stick around and enjoy it for what it is.  But yeah, we do like to goof around

Agreed.  As I mentioned to MPhillips...I just get frustrated with all of the side chatter and the need to scroll through 7 pages of nonsense to find a post that's actually related to the topic.  I don't care to scroll through all of that and was just trying to get to the point and understand what is actually going on (publicly).  Nobody that has an inside track would be dumb enough to post it here (at least I wouldn't)...otherwise they'd no longer get the inside track  🙂

Just some friendly advice.  You should assume anything related to AJ Ferrari will come with at a minimum 7 pages of nonsense.  AJ and nonsense are forever married to each other

Do you think he might have been giving gambling advice to the Iowa wrestlers?

What we do know is 1) he'll post at least 10 more AJ Ferrari Threads by the end of the season.  Expect a lot of Ferrari beats Brooks threads.  2) He'll make his annual Iowa is going to beat PSU thread.  @Wrestleknownothingwill remind him of another thread he posted that shows that scenario is almost statistically impossible.  Buns will ignore it. 3) He finishes the season with the first installment of "I can't believe PSU pulled it off thread" followed by his annual "Iowa are the favorites next year"...It's been rinse & repeat  But to his credit he gets us all to respond

    I Don't Agree With What I Posted

Hmm interesting, never the less, i was the one that was repeatedly replying to all his posts with "Pay your debts"

2022 Iowa PSU dual.  Cant remember if he threw down the bet that he'd leave if Iowa lost or if it came from the board.  I vaguely remember him changing the terms a few times and something about a certain amount of posters (minimum 10) had to bet against him and leave if Iowa won.  I think he panicked when that number was easily met.  Wonder if @BobDoleor @jross can pull it up for us in a "remember when" thread.  It was a Cinnabon classic

I dont think it was for him to leave the forum or something even that extreme. I dont remember the details but I do recall a bet where if he lost he would simply add a quote to his signature. He lost the bet and then never updated his signature.

It was.  I was a part of it.  He later claimed because Spencer didn't wrestle the bet didn't count.

They all fall under that category to some degree. Some more than others. CNN and MSNBC in my experience have motivation to be correct more so then the ones I did list. They make mistakes and work to correct them. By and large they are news gathering organizations that trade on their credibility. They question all parties. Try to hold all them accountable. FOX does not. Their motivation is to promote or to take down anyone that will help them make money. They all but say that in court filings that you can search for and read.

Wait a minute!  I see what you just did.  You Joe Rogan'd the board by making an egregious false claim that I highlighted in bold at an attempt to see which one of us would be complicit in your irresponsibility.  Kind of like what a cult leader would do.  Nice!

if i recollect, he was trolling about the Iowa dual and said something like "if penn state wins I'll leave the forum forever" and everyone went "Ok" and then he panicked, dropped the facade and went into full blown arguing mode about why he didn't have to live up to what he said.

lets not forget the Steamboat Charlie fiasco.  Cant remember @ionel were you also involved in that mess?

To be fair, there are a lot of PSU fans voting yes in this poll. But there is one notable Iowa fan too, whose vote may count more than others:

He even managed to pay off MSU158 for a  Yea vote

I think it's important to reward control aka Riding Time BUT, it's slowing down matches. It seems every match at the Southern Scuffle has had an issue with the clock workers running it the wrong way or not starting it.

What if, we added a point at the end of each period if you finished the period on top? It would encourage folks to be more aggressive on their feet and then get that final ride-out. This would eliminate those long delays in a match which isn't good for the sport or fans. Just a thought.

not a bad idea but the math doesn't work.  Assuming no reversals or nearfall

Wrestle A) 2 takedowns 6 pts but gets taken down end of the period.  No escape points

Wrestler B) 2 escapes 2pts, 1 takedown 3pts, and 1 point for finishing on top with lets say only a few seconds of riding time and now the match is tied.  I see a lot of backlash
