Fair.  But you and I both know it will not change.  Humans are to lazy as a whole.

standing by not doing anything about the corrupt is what’s wrong.  Why would they vote for no insider trading?   They won’t because they’re all making bank off of it.  Why would they prosecute one another for what they are doing illegally.  They won’t as when their party isn’t in power they’re next.  They’re all in it together….. all while they squander our tax money….. and just tax tax tax us slowly to death.

We think they care about their constituents.  They don’t.   Maybe one here and one there does but as a whole they’re corrupt to the bone.

We're addressing two different problems.  I'm pointing out that there is an actual solution to this.  The Voters

Time and observing things over said time has proven this hasn’t and will not happen.   All the while they stay in office for prolonged periods of time…. Become more corrupt rich etc.

insider trading is prolly the worst thing/offense they can commit yet no one seems to care.  They “can” make policy decisions off of their trades….   Or based on their trades.   Where is the outrage there.   There should be far more imo.

It still is our fault because we have an extremely easy remedy for this.  At the end of the day the only ones that deserve to have the finger pointed at them are the voters that continue to vote these politicians in.

Much like Jill Stein, they were promoted by foreign governments to undermine one particular candidate/party. Goal achieved, they disappear for the next four years.

This is not true.  In a twist of irony they found donors through organizations for the protests to be Biden supporters like George Soros, David Rockefeller Jr, the Prtizker's, etc.  All Biden donors and this isn't some Alex Jones conspiracy.  It was very well documented

  4. Just imagine if the American voter spent less time B**ching about term limits and spent more time educating themselves and participating in the electoral process during the primaries.  Such an easy fix to combat a term limit amendment that will never pass

Don't forget Bob maybe able to pull some strings & throw some cash and get AJ back.  Yes 3 Ferrari 🏎 in the lineup its a slam duck for Iowa and we'll be talking about who replaces Cael.

I'd rather discuss this in your new thread.  You have my full support and backing.  Don't be too nice and honest like Jimmy Carter.  Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity? To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment? Would you capture it, or just let it slip? Yo

Will the Haitians in Springfield Ohio that are here legally be left alone?

It seems like everything will be put on the table.  I run a company and the majority of our laborers are migrants who came to the US seeking Asylum.  I've had discussions with my team and employees about potentially having their status revoked.

I’m all seafood for New Year’s Eve.   I know you said new years day.  Is that an east coast tradition?   For nye I like to do u8 seared scallops with a sauce… beurre blanc or like a reduced balsamic…..   New Orleans style bbq shrimp.   Steamed king crab legs if I can find for a decent price.  Post Covid king crab cost is outrageous lol.

how do you do the pork and or what kind of pork?

    -It's a Pennsylvania Dutch tradition

    - Best way to cook it is in a Crock Pot

Some of these sound pretty awesome.  I do two potato’s I’m Irish after all.

this year I’m doing a fondant potato.  They are pretty fantastic and easier than they sound.

the second one is either a confit garlic mashed potato with heavy cream and butter or a steak house style scalloped potato.   Essentially whichever the wife pics

For the other sides I’m doing a candied pecan dried cranberry Brussels sprouts and a creamy Parmesan sautéed spinach.

Do you follow up with a twice baked potato for breakfast?

I don't see Hamiti wrestling this type of match.  Something's gonna give a bit earlier.

Hope he doesn't.  Not his style.  Might have to dust off the old Carr/KOT videos but wasn't KOT always susceptible to the outside/sweep single to his right leg?  Might work with Hamiti's lengths.

Gonna be some wild ones at 174 in March between those two and Hamiti. Looking like 1. KOT 2. Haines 3. Hamiti at this point?

Hamiti will probably get a crack at KOT twice before NCAA's barring any ducks or mayhem at Big 12's.  We'll see if there is a Taylor effect

Casey is still giving the ref grief about 174 after Penn State took their team photo.

Can’t remember his name but he’s a B1G ref and was the assistant tonight.

Love Casey but he is wrong if he thinks it was a takedown

Yes & No.  When using freestyle to predict folk outcomes the best we can do is assess the positions/sequences that most reflect folk.  Watching their match it is clear KOT (like others) struggled with Levi's neutral defense.   The missing ingredient in their match was the mat wrestling which KOT is very solid  at and is a strength of his.  But at the same time Levi although not as savvy at mat wrestling as KOT is stout in those positions himself.  On the mat he has had a good track record of maintaining position, is very strong, and has good situational awareness.  It will be a hell of a chess match.

@BruceyB there you go.  The mat wrestling/scrambling was the difference

I’m sure there have been a bunch of wrestlers who have won over two returning champions, for example Starocci last year. But has there ever been anyone who has won their first title over two prior champions?

"Over" meaning they beat two champs on the way to claiming their first or just winning the title.  Spencer Lee did it in 2018 and beat Suriano (a future champ) in the finals.  He took out NATO but never wrestled Cruz

That is what Klosterman said made Breaking Bad unique among the four along with The Wire, Mad Men, and The Sopranos. A strong case can be made that in the latter three the characters are products of their environment that, to some extent lack agency, but in Breaking Bad it is a conscious decision by Walter White. That was certainly reinforced in the finale.

I love how in Better Call Saul they slowly peeled the onion on Howard Hamlin's character to show how twisted you as the viewer are in ever disliking him.  The light bulb is supposed to turn on in acknowledging Jimmy's distorted view of Howard

For what reason would he not give the sex of the student shooter?

The head of police? Honestly I don't know.  I'd guess they'd have to verify who the perpetrator is.  I don't remember the timeline.  Were they reporting that it was a student but not the gender?  By the time I had a better picture I knew it was both a student and a female

I agree with what you said and felt the same due to seeing a couple tv reports in which they were using "he" and "she" pronouns.

But I also feel that more focus should be on the victims, but it never is and everyone wants to jump to the perpetrator and make it all about that.

This is an interesting topic on human behavior and not a new phenomenon.  Have maybe a strange theory on why this is.  We as an observer never want to see ourselves as the victim.  The idea of being helpless is subconsciously terrifying.

When the policeman giving the press conference said that all he would say about the shooter was that the shooter was a student, and he wouldn’t be saying anything about the sex of the shooter, a lot of people got the impression that there was some discrepancy to whether it was a boy or girl.  He started it by not being clear, concise, and factual.

Lets say your assessment is 100% accurate it still doesn't excuse a twitter source or any proclaimed news source from stating it as fact.  When I first heard the story break I only had 2 facts.  It was in Wisconsin & it was at a Church school.  Being an honest guy I can admit my first thought was it was probably trans related.  But, I didn't post anything stating that because that was just a hunch.  When I first heard of the CEO shooting my first thought was that the shooter himself or a family member was denied coverage and he was seeking revenge. Both of my hunches were wrong.
