This one is short, so I will translate it https://www.khabarvarzeshi.com/news/482369/پیام-ویژه-حسن-یزدانی-برای-دیوید-تیلور In the past years, having a great competitor such as you has been the biggest motivation to compete in any condition, which is the key to success. I wish you success in your new journey, and I hope that you enjoy every segment in your path.10 points

I 110% respect the way he handled the 'why didn't you leave your shoes on the mat' question. The response of "I'm not done with wrestling, so why would I do that?" sort of answer is lovely. He said he understood what some of it meant and why some folks would want to see that, but he isn't done, he is just done wrestling as a competitor. He even mentioned Zahid specifically and said that now he gets to work with him to get him to the same level and help him earn those experiences and accolades. It was a great response.4 points

For what it is worth, the people that I know that are Trump supporters do not have signs in their yard because they view the signs make them a target for the "tolerant left" and do not want their property destroyed.3 points

In his interview he says he went out the way he wanted to. Now he can retire from competitive wrestling. What a great wrestling career. Now he can go on to have a great coaching career. Great job. best of luck in Oklahoma.3 points

Yeah...I FEEL like it's kinda 2016 just flipped...that Harris is underrepresented in the polling and she'll outperform just based on where I live...one of the most conservative Counties in the Country(or...so I've heard many people say, but it is about 130K and has been up to 80% Republican)...but we've had people from the DNC out, I also see Harris signs. That would have been unheard of 4 or 8 years ago. But I've also underestimated Trump and I really think he'd be so disastrous, I don't want to get too excited. We'll see in a couple of weeks. I can't wait until we can just agree on FACTS again. Like....what the CPI was last month, and what the GDP(accounting for inflation) is. Simple things like that... Speaking of which, I just saw Steve Ballmer, owner of the Clippers get called out for being "woke," and I watched the video...and he's just giving the most basic numbers. 'This is what GDP means, Gross Domestic Product, the Real GDP is accounting for Inflation." Shitl ike that. Then he went and he even did the 2019 before Covid, 2020 Covid and then the latest. And that was him lying for Harris. So...yeah, I'd like that to stop.2 points

I live in a suburban city that has mostly been conservative for years. I've seen more Harris signs than Trump ones on people's lawns. Also our Senate candidate is running against somebody who is an unmitigated disaster. Even if he died before election day, his polling advantage would give him the win still. And his opponent is heavily tied to Trump, so the hope is that she drags him down.2 points

Interesting how the blindfolded who can't/won't see what is right if front of them make fun of those who can/will. The topic of censorship is not even a debate anymore. It happened, it is happening, and the government and political leaders are promising more if given the chance. It's all fun and games until you finally find yourself without the freedom to express yourself freely. And then it is too late. mspart2 points

Lets make it a class action. They banned my account because I didn't put an age restriction on my videos. -I've...LITERALLY never uploaded a video in my life. I intentionally still use a computer without a camera because there's a chance someone could watch my dumb ass picking my nose drinking my morning coffee or scrolling YT while unable to sleep! BUT...I could have started a channel where I just go around and "prank" people in HILARIOUS ways by randomly intimidating them in malls and made tens of millions of dollars! I think that suspension years ago warrants a lawsuit! (By the way, juuuust in case anyone was going to feel a modicum of empathy for Lenny catching one to the gut instead of the back of the head from George whilst thinking about Rabbits as Steinbeck intended, when asked if he was going to change anything, he did respond with an introspective, 'I'm gonna do me bruh,' with his Mother agreeing and saying, she just wants her son...who nearly died to "keep doing what he loves." And that's perfect...as I thoroughly enjoy watching the FO part of the FAFO equation.1 point

I swore I was going to stop, but when they start saying the quiet parts out loud...not the racist shit...I think he's an asshole but not particularly racist. If you give him loyalty, he'll love you(look at his past with Diddy). It's the Economics of it. I really will be alright, but if you're in your 50s...the plan they're laying out, you will NOT recover AND they're openly talking about cutting your SS and Medicare on top of a planned recession to cut debt...which obviously won't work. The only way to cut debt...is kinda what we're doing. We're out of the economic dispair, you invest in revolutionary industry and you GROW the GDP while slowing spending. NOBODY is slowing spending, but the Chip Act...of all the things to repeal, the key that will unlock the world's next Super Power. China is so desperate to get their hands on our chips, they're taking our scraps and then trying to buy them 3rd party. Shit, use that. Give China a VERY limited number of the H200 NV36 in negotiations. We've got the B200 NV72 coming out. But taxes our OWN businesses and people on shit China sells? Hey, I'm even for 40% tariffs on companies that move out of the US(I don't even know if that's feasible or if it's just lead to less competition, but that I could at least understand...if you leave, you'll pay). It's like we have a gun to our head, we're saying we're going to pull a trigger and people are like, 'yeah, that make sense...because the other person's boss had a concussion!1 point

I was JUST talking to my Dad about this earlier today. It was more in a "if he was running now," tone though. He'd probably get bonus points for having an affair with someone better looking, but if he were running against a Republican, they'd say he was a "stain on the Oval office, not fit to hold office." If it was anyone but Trump. Think about how History turns on a dime though. Bush Sr...pretty good President. He was trying to get the debt under control. 1 of 3 President's since who did and he got fired for it(for one of the ones who actually did balance the budget).1 point

Oh Christ....the stupidity of shit shit. If only you could look at the GDP, see the GROWTH, watch as the United States has become the OVERWHELMING powerhouse in designing GPUs with NVDA and AVGO, the Chip act(which Trump said he'd repeal and was one of the most successful pieces of economic policies in Presidential History, the act at the heart of the AI revolution) and you look at POSITIVE GDP growth vs Trump's NEGATIVE GDP growth! It's all good. I understand much of this is over the heads of those re-posting Fox News Graph and I bought a couple thousand shares(pre-splitS) of NVDA in '20(as well as TSM, AVGO). I'll sell that and I'll be fine, but Trump and his team aren't even hiding what they plan on doing and people are still just blindly repeating this ignorant shit. GDP GROWING 5-6% MORE under Biden than under Trump. But yeah, they're making it "harder to do commerce." The 3 TSM plants going on line in Arizona were 'hard to do,' with relatively small grants and MASSIVE investments. The Google investments in Wisconsin, the AMZN, META, MSFT growth, NVDA going from a 250M to 3.5 TRILLION dollar company, again, in thee MOST important economic sector for the next 100 years. The mechanism we'll use to DEFEND ourselves, to find and cure cancer(AI is already helping identify breast cancer 5 years before any Dr would be able to detect it)...THAT WAS BIDEN. That was the Chips act. But I get it...y'all are so afraid of some tranny you've never met and you like the guy who has bankrupted DOZENS of small businesses, turned 400M into less money than if he'd JUST stuck it into an index fun, bankrupted casinos, screwed pornstars, cheated on every woman he's been with, THEN played the Christian and when asked if he's ever asked for forgiveness, responded, "I keep God out of that." The man is TELLING you what he's going to do. Across the board tariffs! 40 of his 44 cabinet members had come out and said they will either endorse Kamal or NOT endorse him. They're OPENLY talking about taking what is now a BOOMING economy that's a curly hair away from the ideal 2% inflation and he's going to send it into a recession with his tariffs(Musk's words...and it'll be Musk overseeing it, another immigrant working here "illegally," like his wife(Which...IDGAF a bout, but if you'r going to complain about immigrants breaking their backs working construction and not this, you're comical hypocrites)... If that's what you need because you struggle to understand inflation and economics and you want to lay that at Biden's feet(it's not even Trump's "fault" unless you consider a world in which he dealt with COVID like a competent President)...then that's on you. I've been lucky enough to do better than I could have dreamt of the past 4 years. Again, I'll pull everything out, maybe buy a few multi-families when the recession hits(I did it last time) and live off the dividends of Bond ETFs... until we get another grown-up in there. That's IF we have an election in 2028.1 point

First of all, Trump lots manufacturing jobs BEFORE Covid came. We'd lost 43,000 jobs. He had NOT rebuild manufacturing in the US, that's just a lie. "performative accountability?" The ignorance in this election is just unfathomable. Obama left Trump with ONE primary message. Be prepared for the next pandemic. We'd had pandemics, we WILL have another one. We had an ENTIRE infrastructure in place for a pandemic(I've said this to YOU before, so you're just playing dumb now or you don't WANT to know the truth). This started six MONTHS before it got to the United States. Trump said it wasn't coming here. We had 43 infectious disease specialists IN WUHAN. We had infectious disease specialists in multiple places in Africa(remember the Ebola scares, SARS, various potential pandemics that the UNITED STATES as the world leaders came in, did contract tracing, quarantined people, and had ACTUAL travel restrictions(unlike the fake China travel restrictions in which 40,000 people flew to and from China in the 3 months from Feb to April. The time Trump was saying it would "magically disappear." You think MAYBE that 5-6 month head start and KNOWING what we were dealing with as opposed to trusting the CCP and their disclosure could have helped prevent Covid from spreading to every corner of the world? Why did he recall NEARLY every infectious disease specialist? Why did he disband the pandemic response team(which happened at HIS orders only for him to later claim...he had no idea, he'd never heard of them and AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, he took "no responsibility at all?" But lets talk about "performative accountability." Biden comes in, LIKE Obama. An economy in absolute tatters. We had supply line issues, we had factories shutting down due to Covid outbreaks and we had price gouging. The cost to the US Economy is estimated at 14 trillion DOLLARS on top of Trump taking the Debt at growing it by 10 TRILLION dollars while keeping interest rates low(or the Fed did that, but Trump believes the Fed will report to him and under project 2025, they would). So Trump deserves ZERO blame for letting Covid run rampant despite it being the ONE brief left on his desk and the desk of EVERY staffer only for it to be ENTIRELY disregarded, he deserves no blame for ACTUAL travel restrictions(what he actually did was tell the State Department to stop issuing new passports...nothing about existing ones). But you're going to try and tell me at the SAME FCKN TIME that Biden gets ALL of the blame for inflation, a lagging indicator and one that was already starting to increase when Trump was leaving office? Either you just don't understand what you're talking about and you're parroting lazy talking points, or this is one of the most intellectually dishonest discussions I've ever had. (I'd also LOVE if you could tell me what JUST 10% across-the-boardnever mind tariffs do and who pays for them, nevermind 20% and 60% tariffs with China, not with a scalpel, with a sledgehammer. Hope you're not invested in AAPL stock. Your phones are going to increase by about 60%. "We will not see Coronavirus come here."1 point

Cool...well, at least go into this with your eyes open. Plan-Tariffs. The worst economic policy in US History when used in just blanket terms. The main cause of the Great Depression. -Per Trump and his campaign it will lead to 2 years of a recession, cuts to SS, Medicare, the markets will "take a tumble," and then...HOPEFULLY we'll come out of it. Put that in contrast to an economy with 2.1% inflation(the of ideal number being 2). Very low unemployment(we'd have massive problems if you deported every undocumented just from a purely financial standpoint) and they're warning you of the "hardships," you'll have to deal with for the next couple years. If he's still your choice...alright. When you see the markets crash when he announces those tariffs, don't whine about it. I've done well enough the last 4 years I can pull my money out, put it in...bonds or whatever and make 20-30K a year on that and just stick that back in. But I'm not riding the market back down 20-25% in what's likely an optimistic scenario.1 point

For future reference, if you have the probabilities of 10 independent events (like AAing at any of 10 weights) you can get the probability of each 11 outcomes (0 to 10) by doing the algebraic expansion of: (P1+(1-P1)X)(P2+(1-P2X)....(P10+(1-P10)x) where P1 through P10 are the individual probabilities. The expansion will take the form of: aX^10+bx^9+.....+jx+k The factors a through k are your probabilities of 0 through 10 events. For an expansion this big you will want to use an online calculator (or a stat programming language like R). I used https://www.symbolab.com/solver/expand-calculator1 point

According to factcheck, you qualify for a job with the MSM. There was a loss of 7,000 manufacturing jobs in 2016 before Trump took office. The economy was still up over 400,000 manufacturing jobs before the pandemic. Biden saw a return of those pandemic-lost jobs, and his economy saw another 170,00 jobs added post pandemic recovery. https://www.factcheck.org/2024/09/trump-vs-harris-on-u-s-manufacturing/1 point

I only know of three cases and those are not done with the appeals. First case he was found liable for sexual harrassment. The plaintiff couldn't even state when it happened. How do you have a jury that finds liability for something that the accuser doesn't remember when it happened? Good question, there is no good answer. Second, Trump found guilty in overvaluing his property even though there was no one to accuse him of wrong doing other than the prosecutor. That is under appeal as well. Third, Trump found guilty in a case where a misdemeanor that was beyond the statute of limitations was resurrected to become a felony because the misdemeanor was pursuant to another crime. Never mind the Feds refused to prosecute, NYC decided to do it. As has been stated here many times, the "another crime" was never stipulated in the indictment, and the judge told the jury they didn't have to agree what he did, just that he did something and that would count as a verdict of guilty. That one also is under appeal and not finished. So he has lost 3 of 3 since leaving the WH as far as I know. But these will surely be overturned on appeal, at least the last two. So that will be 66.67% winning if he wins the two and 100% if he wins the three appeals. mspart1 point

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_and_business_legal_affairs_of_Donald_Trump ... From 1973 until he was elected president in 2016, Donald Trump and his businesses were involved in over 4,000 legal cases in United States federal and state courts, including battles with casino patrons, million-dollar real estate lawsuits, personal defamation lawsuits, and over 100 business tax disputes. ... Of all cases with a clear resolution, Trump was the victor 92 percent of the time. Looks like his record is pretty good. mspart1 point

My take was that Ghasempour misinterpreted what Taylor was doing when he went over to sort of yank him up with 2 seconds left. The camera cut off the interaction, but I think Ghas took it as "get your a** back in the middle," when actually it was just an attempt to give a hand which came off a bit awkward with all of Taylor's emotion. Whatever, these guys are champions, and I don't see any disrespect.1 point

As far as I can tell (thinking about it hours later), Vito dislocated his finger on the second TD going up 4-1. Normally he has two fingers taped, but this time he had three taped together. Really hurt. UWW med staff came out, Vito instructed them to remove the tape (to un-dislocate the finger), but the woman with the HUGE scissors apparently started cutting his finger by accident, because Vito freaked out and grabbed the scissors from her while attempting to take off the tape himself. Med staff was not happy (finger wag not happy). Vito yelled about them cutting him with the scissors. US med rep/coach came out, and they proceeded to pull off the tape. Camera panned out, Vito sat there while the coach...pulled his finger back into place. Immediate pain, but it sorta went away "quickly". Hastily wrapped the fingers again, Vito composed himself, and went out there and finished business. Tough dude.1 point
