Rare but not totally unexpected.

Pretty impressive to get this up and running smoothly with such a short runway. I had just assumed that Oct. 31 was going to be it, that I wouldn't spend any more time on this stuff, and that I'd maybe find some sort of productive, socially useful, and uplifting alternative use of my time. Instead I'll just keep doing this.

Yes, it's a little early to be discussing this dual, but Mizzou had their first meet yesterday and were missing a couple of starters. Arizona State will be a tough matchup for anyone. Especially if they're short handed. Anyone have any scoop about Rocky Elam, or other lineup issues? Thanks

Who are the couple of starters you’re thing of? Rocky was the only one missing. And he said he would be back for asu - possibly this weekend.

He seems like a tweener but Smith probably projects him at 184.

You know what else is absurd? The idea that they can keep dumping bodies off the same curve in the road and no one will notice a pile of bodies laying at the bottom of the cliff and begin to investigate. We have a mass murderer as our protagonist, for god's sake.

For those that missed it here is a great view of the Mendez vs Byrd match. Byrd was saved by the Scorer's table or that's a 6 pt move or pin at the end.

If my office is any clue, there might be a bug or two going around that might've put a good number of them on the back foot. Also, various teams might be at different points in their training. I don't put a huge amount of stock in early season duals, but, the records of the individual wrestlers for Wisconsin will obviously negatively impacted by this. Great example of this early season craziness vs late season results from 2022: Penn State 20 - Penn 16 (12/3/2021) Penn State 29 - Michigan 6 (1/21/2022)

I like Byrd but yes it was a notable result, just messing with you, I think it was notable how Zac won but not so much that he won.

I'm not knocking Byrd. He's one of my favorites. I don't root against him.
