I believe Kasak got to rear standing from neutral and then just held him there to avoid a roll. At that time I do not think 1 point made a difference either in that match not to say it should not have been called but I think the circumstances were different. All that to say I am indifferent towards Kasak.

I am a kasak fan and thought what did given the circumstance was great. Did he pick him up with 8 seconds left? Yes. From neutral? Yes. Did he walk Teemer oob? No. Could the ref have counted? Sure. Would it have changed the outcome. Nope.

So Flo wasn’t far off, predicting OSU to win eight, but that included Ryder.

OSU deserved the win. 
 

They were able to finish the late takedowns when mattered (141, 149, 157, 174). 
 

They clearly had the better guys at 133 and 165. Basically every other match could have gone either way and in Stillwater, they’re gonna go that way most of the time.

I guess we can all agree that Iowa State is no longer ranked #3 in the Nation!!!!  I think ISU only scores six team points with Zach Ryder in the line up.  Issac Dean was unimpressive against OSU backup.

I literally am an isu fan and I thought elam should have lost. Asking for a stall call by throwing ur hands in the air for 8 seconds instead of working the grip of merril to escape...... Literally mets the definition of stalling for elam. Lazy wrestling that needs to be addressed in the room

That sv looked like a td for Merril on replays.  Refs do not like to overturn their on mat calls.  The review should be an independent ref not the on mat ref.  I'd never seen the head ref before.  He was a bit slow on calls like the choke hold and sv td.

Funny how perspectives are.  Just watched Askren break the dual down on YouTube and had basically the opposite view on Elam vs Merril and said Merril should have been dq’ed out of the match.  That he did zero the entire match.
