I think CP does well for a guy who didn’t compete in the sport at a high level. Not many guys can talk the talk who didn’t live that life. Fairly knowledgeable and definitely tries to be professional. I have no issue with him bringing his kid on, Caleb loves wrestling and you can tell it’s his life. He for sure withholds some info or criticism of certain guys/teams because he doesn’t want to shake the apple cart. My biggest issue with him is he ball washes PSU, OK St, Iowa, etc… but can you really blame him? It’s a 3 horse sport and they are probably the ones paying the bills.

Would not surprise me if Ayala or Rin are the starter at 125. Smith is talented but is 1-2 lb under 125 with no cut. Grice would be a solid R16/R12 guy but Pearson may surprise many this season.

I have serious doubts that Smith can hold 174 effectively all year. my opinion only, obviously. He’s definitely AA caliber if he can.

For sure. I just can’t see the guy sustaining 125 again. Maybe they put him on a pitch count until late February.

Maybe Bouzakis is smaller than I think but why does nobody think he’d be an effective 141? Guy was 137 second day of NCAA’s. Have to imagine he’s 150ish when he’s not cutting?
