I was astonished to hear this statistic. We are importing massive numbers of people who are literally to ignorant to function independently in our society. If we want to make America better, we should look at adding intelligence into the gene pool, not dependence.

Well,if I had essentially zero education and was working full time doing manual labor starting as a kid, I'd have a low iq too.

Imagine being such a hypocrite that in a matter of minutes you will throw an entire nationality into one clump, and then throw over 98,000 schools across the US into one “shit” clump…..and then have the nerve to tell someone to be specific.

This is in no way an argument for Somali’s but an argument for the foundations of America and it becoming the greatest nation on Earth.  The land of opportunity, the land of the Statue of Liberty.  This thread demonstrates how many don’t actually want what America stands for, but what their party leaders tell them to stand for.

What ever the reason or excuse, it is a huge problem. They cost us a lot of money, and certainly have little appreciation. They have destroyed entire school districts and robbed education and job opportunities from Americans.

Libs love to act like there are never consequences to all this they like to think of as benevolence, but they are truly damaging many communities and sucking lots of money from hard working Americans.

America until recently was never about coming here and hating us while you suck off the tax payers and complain about how you're being treating while doing so.  88% of Somalis are on welfare. 

I went to the county offices to apply for a land use permit. I accidentally got off on the wrong floor. When I stepped out of the elevator I was on the welfare office floor. It was packed beyond seating capacity. There were so many people it was overwhelming. Who do you think I saw there? I'll give you a hint they were all wearing a hijab

This is why the US used to have a sponsor requirement so people wouldn't leech off the government.   But now we just let anyone in and don't ask questions.   One seems rational the other not so much.

Just keep in mind that the poem was part of a drive for the funds to construct a pedestal for the statue.  The sentiment has never been enshrined in the policy, statutes, nor founding documents of the nation.  In fact, about a generation after the plaque was installed, immigration was severely curtailed to prevent the country being overwhelmed by immigrants, allowing those present to become assimilated.  Something in low supply right now.

Don’t disagree. And I’m all for regulating/restricting immigration.  The point(s) of my post was to the comments like we should only let in folks that add to the gene pool; and the comedy that is people taking whatever Mr President says and being his parrot.  Looks like there was plenty exhibitions of that around here this weekend.
