I promise I am asking this with all the best intentions...  Does anyone have an update on Nick Suriano?  Is he doing well?  It seems clear he is moving on to whatever comes next.  I am just hoping he is healthy, at peace, and happy.

Thanks in advance.

For the most recent Oly Trials, despite being in State College all week Suriano was the last wrestler by far to pick up his credential/athlete packet etc.  He didn't show up until 5 minutes before weigh ins and as best as I could tell he took an Uber to the venue in just his singlet and slides, had the Uber wait while he came in, got his credential, weighed in and then went right back out the door to his Uber.

Doesn't help answer the question but that's my Suriano story and seemed as good a time as any to share it.

Joe Kania is making wagers on the Twitter that he will be the 65 KG rep for 2028 and has even gone as far as to say that he knows things he can't say.

Sounds like the next Ray Brinzer.

He's late to the game. It would have been better if he started that stuff back in MS or HS

If Vegas had a betting line for Suriano to even show up to trials in 2028 it would have to open at plus money. Predicting where Suriano will be, or what he will be doing in 3 years time seems like a fools errand.

He doesn't get enough credit for dropping to 125 and going after Spencer.

You mean the season Spencer Lee was already out for the season due to injury before Nicky Skeletor ever wrestled a match?

That season?

It was impressive that he appeared to be completely miserable throughout the entire season.  Grimacing and scowling through each dominating victory.  Body emaciated.  Great commitment to the weight cut.
