lol let me guess, you don't believe in it?

Is it really a guess when I basically just said as much?

No...I don't believe in it.

I believe Men when they're young like to have sex(hell, probably when they're old as well).

I believe you need to show some self restraint. And this isn't even self restraint, it's one thing if you have a GF, Fiancé, Wife and you get a little buzzed at a wedding or bar or whatever and you simply need to NOT sleep with someone, but this was him having to just not actively go seek it out.

I think this is an excuse, a cop out and I think it's transparent. Every celebrity gets busted doing something stupid, they go and "get help."

Charlie Sheen-THAT dude needed help.

Tiger-He just needed to stop frequenting strip clubs on Tuesday Afternoons when the only requisite to employment was a minimum of one cesarian scar and a tattoo on your lower back.

I'd be willing to bet 6 figures he's going to turn to God and his supportive Family, speak to his Pastor and give the cliched Christian Man who strayed as we're all sinners routine...and the rehab...well, I don't know, that'll likely be up to his sponsors.

I don't think the guy is an awful guy. I think he probably thought he was untouchable, he got touched(not in the way he paid for) and now he'll hopefully change his ways. But no, I don't believe he's "addicted" to the cave of wonders any more than any man(well...with your obvious exceptions...Liberace, Lance Bass...my Great Uncle who my Grandma referred to as a "confirmed bachelor...though he died about 30 years ago, so times were different). But...aside from that subset of Men, I don't think he's particularly unique in this regard. He just made the bad decision and betrayed his family. And I do not believe it was because of an addition or disease.

Not really how it works.

Robert Kraft gets arrested at a rug and tug joint, it makes news.

Big John from Big Johns Plumbing gets arrested...the National Media doesn't make such a big issue out of it(so biased)...

Not that I think he will be suspended, but the argument that these other poor shlubs got to go back to their job...Wrestling for team USA is a privilege. It's one that's earned on the Mat, but it come with prestige.

And I get I'm starting to sound more outraged about all of this than I am. I'm...mostly indifferent, there's just a few points I disagree with.

I'm done being a smartass because @scourge165 is an idiot after all this online reckoning and somehow still needs to have the obvious pointed out:

Human trafficking is more real than anyone in Comfy Parts, USA would like to acknowledge. Most subjects are children. KIDS. They are shoved into a vicious circle of addiction. Kyle Snyder's cash said "I don't care if you are a child. You're not my kid. Online ad said 18 so it's cool."

Full stop.

Pray on that.

1-No...I will not "pray on that."

2-Most subjects are NOT children. KIDS if you will. But I didn't argue this point, though @BAC did and he made a pretty strong argument.

3-I made a REAL simple point.

A-I don't believe in the "Sex addiction therapy," nonsense.

B-I don't think the fact that the other 15 people who got arrested not losing their job or suffering professional ramifications means that Snyder won't.

Explain where in the TF that even addresses the "Comfy Parts, USA," or Child Trafficking aspect of this?

I haven't been defending Snyder... though I'm also not just sure WTF you're talking about or how I'M the one who got this... just made up lecture about how most escotrs being children who are trafficked.

Via Homeland Security;

Coercion and Forced Involvement

  • Sex Trafficking: The U.S. Department of Homeland Security reports that 23% of all human trafficking victims are subjected to sex trafficking, with 8% of these victims being children .

Though...AGAIN, ENTIRELY Moot as I didn't defend Snyder AT-ALL. So again, what the hell are you talking about?

Kyle Snyder's cash said "I don't care if you are a child. You're not my kid. Online ad said 18 so it's cool."

Also, maybe help me out with something here. Presumably you know what the purpose of quotes are, right?

They are to repeat what someone said to bolster their argument using their EXACT words. So...again, not only would I like to know where the quotes came from, but WTF did the sentiment come from?

You can pray on whatever you want... just don't start making up nonsense.

Yeah, cute response. You've posted 44 times in this thread to let everyone know JUST how outraged you are and then just made up a bunch of bull$hit in a post, attributed it to me, but NOW...after 44 posts in, your attention span cannot tolerate a couple paragraphs.

Just say you've had a few drinks tonight and you're just wrote an incoherent post that doesn't at all align with what I said and move on(though...I guess this is the social media way of doing just that).

But yeah, I guess I won't be holding my breath for where I apparently said

Kyle Snyder's cash said "I don't care if you are a child. You're not my kid. Online ad said 18 so it's cool."

That....makes more sense than this stupidity.

In all seriousness, I have had a blast the last couple days. Kyle Snyder probably doesn't feel the same way but that's what happens when you don't go to the metal festival. He's still on Mount Rushmore, it just so happens that he is probably also going to be on another list too.

Funny you've had a "blast" the last couple days and are SO supremely outraged at...what again?

That I don't buy the sex addiction excuses, that I think being in the position he's in, he's likely to face more consequences and...

I'm sorry, you went on the tangent about MOST people being trafficked being KIDS(that was in all caps, so very important).

But... at a time when you believe there is this rampant abuse of MOSTLY children in sex trafficking, you've had a "blast" talking about it and you're telling ME that I should "pray on it?"

In all seriousness... if you're going to play the morally indignant card, you probably shouldn't have a "blast" making jokes about what in YOUR mind is MOSTLY children who are trafficked and forced into prostitution, eh?

Pray on that...(or don't, I really don't care what you "pray on.")

I don't really know how it works -- you know this better than I do. I'm saying that for most of the country it's not a big deal, and we shouldn't hold wrestlers to higher standards than other athletes. The sport isn't big enough. For a good percentage of the the country's population this is a decriminalized act. Sure, places in the south and parts of Midwest this is a major crime (check out Louisiana!!!), but not most places. I'd hate to see his career end for this, as he's at the age where he's past prime and can't afford to take off. I'd like to see him back on the mat soon. The worst part for me was the conflict between this devout man and his real actions. But as far as I'm concerned, this is between him and his wife.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait...

Was this girl he was meeting barely legal?

Why this talk about kiddos and pedo $hit?

I don't believe so.  If you listen to the audio the cop said charges are most likely a charge and a day class to learn about the industry and its impact on the actual women.  If it was him seeking out a minor he'd be in serious trouble

Okay, thank you for clarifying.

I missed like 13 pages and there was a lot of pedo-insinuating talk going on.

Seeking something out is not an argument against you being addicted. Addicts have to chase down a score all the time. Its often what theyll do to get it (engage in sex acts for drugs, or in this case pay for sex acts) that is the determining factor of if they are addictied. Addicts will ruin their life for a fix.

As for addiction being a disease thats. Different conversation and id say its not.

You missed a lot of my worst work in there. Also, much of this "industry" is borne out of children. I kinda figured after a couple days of this being brought to light that it wouldn't be so deflected upon and I was tired waiting for my call across the pacific in the middle of the night.

Of course he will. It’s the perfect “out” for him.

Snyder has ownership stake in rudis as well and been there since the start for most part. Alot more personal type of situation here then your traditional athlete sponsor kick him to the curb.

Does he?  He may, but last I checked, I thought it was Jesse Leng, Jeff Jordan, Tommy Rowlands, and Nancy Schultz at about 25% each.

Looks like $83, if I’m reading the arrest record correctly

No worries... this is a sensitive subject and a lot of adjacent, or similar subjects, are as sensitive or more sensitive.  I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss that it was a police officer posing as a 13 Y.O. or something as horrible.

There are levels to bad, or evil, and that would have been a different level.
