The official Iowa State position on the exodus

Chittum was the only guy that started this year right?

Do they still have Echemendia coming back?

Echemendia is coming back, and the Frost brothers are rumored to be bumping up even with Chittum and Swiderski leaving I think they still have a log jam

125: Meza / Castillo

133: Diversent / Grice

141: E Frost / J Frost

149: Echemendia / J Frost / Paniro

157: Paniro / K. Naaktgeboren

165: Euton / Riggins

174: Gaitan

184: T. Naaktgeboren

197: Bartelt

285: Bastida

Plus the rumors of them actively trying to bring Larkin in if he decides to leave ASU

I want to see Echemendia bulk up to 157. Dude would be as wide as a house. Like Hayden Hidlay at 174.

How that guy made 141, repeatedly, is a mystery I will never understand.

Spent a lot of time hitting either the heavy bag or women for exercise.

I believe Bartelt will be 184.

good to know thanks.  any idea why he wrestled at 197 in tournaments last season?  maybe he's working his way down?

Probably just because he was in redshirt, I believe he will have to pull a bit of weight to get to 184 (he was #1 at 215 in 2024), so I’d assume they didn’t see the need in him cutting that much in a RS year.

I do believe he’s a better fit at 184. He looked small against Surber in OSU dual this year.

Dresser said he would be better at 184

Willie on Basch says Rider’s David Szuba to Arizona State.  Says ASU will also likely be in on AJ, in addition to Iowa State and possibly UNC

Awesome news. ASU really needs the upper weights

Thanks but yeah theres the proof. As an iowa state fan I hate to see him go but not sure of his fit weight wise there with jamison, travis, and all the recruits coming in

Him leaving a 149 log jam at ISU to head to another 149 log jam is interesting.

I think swiderski takes the starting spot pretty easily. Huge pickup for OK state.

Damn, was hoping for Szuba at Rutgers.  It makes sense though, considering one of his old HS coaches is out there now.  Interested to see what Zeke can get out of him for one year though.

Whatever happened to that case where he “allegedly” choked unconscious a woman.  I think it was his wife ?

I'm not sure, but judging from social media, neither of them are very mentally/emotionally stable.  She is on her third or fourth instagram identity and has so much surgery she looks like a completely different human being.

My guess is that the case went away, similar to the AJ case.  Dresser claims he did his due diligence and Sketchy Etches story checked out.
