Down over about the 6 weeks in office. Not a good start for President Musk or Diaper Donny while their approval ratings plummet.

LOL...we get it...this is your schtick...you hate everything Trump...you don't engage in any civil debates or back and forth...you don't answer anyone's questions when asked about the emotional nonfactual statements you make on here so you literally provide no value...please either engage or stop.

By the way...how are the tunnels under the Gaza strip??

This is a good thing though correct and why the left wingers voted for President Musk because billionaires are losing their shirts.  Ain't it wonderful!

exactly, ionel.

the markets are falling b/c the margins are going to be tighter. the billionaires and bankers and wall street will have it tougher.

isnt' that what the left always preaches for?

LOL. Yah, that's why he wants to completely get rid of the consumer financial protection bureau.

Oh but the price of eggs!

Yes and how many eggs are folks eating per week to result in such hardship?  What is the cost of a home cooked three egg omelet? And does it exceed the cost of a Chick-fil-A #2 Spicy Chicken Sandwich meal with strawberry shake?  😋  I ask you Greg, is it inflation or the greedy Chick-fil-A company sacrificing chickens before they lay their eggs?

Lets get our chickens back!  It ain't over till we say its over!

Yes; all the gains were under the Biden administration.

I still eat two meals a day that include a couple eggs.  I still put eggs in my dog's food when I make those batches.  I get a big kick out of people sitting in restaurants talking on social media about how its getting difficult to afford feeding their families.   As if personal choice never plays into one's personal economics.

Never get caught up in short term market gains or losses.  Look at indicators.  Now, to be fair, those look like crap, too, but I'll defer to smarter people than me on that, like @Wrestleknownothing and my own investments guy.  WKN, how is it looking to you?  Also, BTW, for some reason you can't receive PMs.

How is this laying the groundwork to blame all future economic issues on Biden??  What if the numbers were inflated/deflated?  Should that not be uncovered?

“Buckle up” implies the upcoming stats are not going to look good, no?

Yes, but I guess I don't see the leap to a statement like "laying the groundwork to blame all future economic issues on Biden"

Things are looking pretty piss poor to me.

One thing the equity market hates is uncertainty. And with Trump's desire for trade wars, pursuit of inflationary policies, and alignment with Putin, there is a ton of uncertainty. That is why we have seen the recent sell off. It is a risk off trade.

But that said, I am the ultimate long term investor. Recent price action will not dissuade me from staying long, and getting longer, stocks.

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

It just means that, as many of us knew, there are discrepancies in the data and actual numbers, and that they are in the process of correcting and reporting them.

So any negative economic indicators have nothing to do with anything that’s happened in the past 6 weeks?
