The Ferrari Family:  it's like watching a tacky Jersey Shore family show set in a house full of mirrors.  The kids all hanging out in a room full of weights and listening to loud, bad music.  The mom pumped up on plastic surgery.   The Dad still in love with flashy sports cars in the driveway.   The police having to break up late night parties.   I'm surprised they haven't tried to make it into a reality show.  The boys could invite over the Kardashians and make scatological jokes that are only funny to 9 year olds.

His dad made a big deal on HR about how Arnold bulked up for 184lbs this year.

Stalling calls just falling from the sky like christmas snow for Iowa.  The Hawkeye credit union must be giving this guy an amazing rate on his car and mortgage.

Who cares?  It's got nothing to do with the winner of any match.

Ferrari had a close 3-1 match with CStar and now he beat #3 Plott. I'm no wrestling coach, but I'd love to hear more about why he's redshirting. (Arnold, of course, is an excellent wrestler.)

My guess is they thought they had more in Arnold at 184 than what he turned out to be.

Ferrari doesn't shoot, though.  He just hangs out on his knees and doesn't do jack-diddly. 🤷‍♂️

That’s nonsense.  He had 183% of the offense on his feet and all the take downs.  I don’t recall one shot from plott.

That big wooshing sound you hear above your head is the point flying right over your head.

Meaning I agree with you, FFS.

Plott losing in OT is the only unexpected match on either side.  Every other match was a clear favorite clearly winning.

He has a lot of work to do on bottom and that doesn't bode well come tournament time.  Why rush things?  Give him the year and offseason to polish things up

It's how they looked. Amine, lifeless. Fish, awful. I didn't expect those wrestlers to win those matches. They should've put up a better fight. Giving up 10 points to Jacori Teemer. Vomit. That's not being ready to wrestle.

Not sold that he is better than Kennedy or Brands at 174lbs right now.

I think the presumption was Nelson at 174.  I don't think Gabe was beating a healthy Nelson leading up to the year.  But now, with him hurt?  Yeah.  And we'll just have to disagree about Kennedy.  Take a look at Kennedy's entire career and tell me his best win. Probably Amine or Edmond Ruth, which are...fine.  I think the lineup was set up to be Nelson and Gabe, and Kennedy likely on the bench.

Didn’t get the joke.  Apologies then?

65-74-84 in particular looked like they were stuck in molasses.

Love the attempted heavyweight mouse trap by hendrickson.

Fish was down 4 with a body lock at the end.

And you need to watch more wrestling if you think it's embarrassing to give up points to Teemer.

Poor Ben Kuter.

Playing the wrong sport. The Iowa football staff has been so good at turning guys like him into NFL players.
